Analýza hospodaření vybrané municipality - MikulovHladíková, Lenka January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of management of selected municipality -- the town of Mikulov, in the time period 2005 -- 2014. For these purposes financial analysis of income, expenditure and balance is selected. Furthermore, there are calculated and evaluated informative and monitoring economic indicators according to the methodology of the Ministry of Finance under which it can be claimed that management of Mikulov is very good. The findings are compared with data of the town Hustopeče. This thesis also includes the identification of factors that affect the current situation of Mikulov and possibilities for the direction of its further development. To improve the current state of the town it is recommended to attract new investors and raise the level of involvement of local inhabitants in the planning process. A new amount of collected local taxes is also suggested to increase municipal revenues.

The diploma thesis is focusing on economy and financing of three small municipalities in the Pilsen region. Financing of small municipalities is the quite complex and current topic, also in the Czech Republic. The thesis is a comparative case study. The analyzed municipalities are the following: Kožlany, Žihle and Kozojedy. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of given municipalities towards the influence of the economy and financing or the possibility to influence the amount of their income and costs. As a partial aim of this thesis is comparison and evaluation of the stance of mayors and other municipal representatives to the current model of financing of local governments and model of tax revenue. The thesis consists of two main parts. The theoretical part deals with a literary research, which defines basic conceptions referring to financing and economy of municipalities. The practical part is dedicated to basic characteristics of the compared municipalities, also the comparison all municipalities with the evaluation of the results obtained by the analysis.

The presented thesis deals with the issue of institutions of leisure time for youth up to 18 years, which plays an important role in the implementation of prevention of risk behaviour among children and youth. The aim of the work is to find out, whether the selected institution - DDM Praha 6 (Youth Centre Prague 6) - fulfills its public mission and has sufficient resources for this purpose. The aim of the work was determined on the base of a detailed analysis of internal and external environment of DDM Praha 6, specially based on PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis and Analysis of Bronislaw Malinowski. The data for the realization of the analysis were obtained in interviews with the management of DDM Praha 6, in the form of the documentation study and also in the form of the observation of the institution.

This thesis focuses on the problems of the healthcare system of the Czech Republic, namely the problem of faculty hospitals. Faculty hospitals are contribution organizations, and thus aren't focused on financial gain. Among their goals is having an equilibrated economy.
The main focus of this thesis is the breakdown of the economy and development of a chosen faculty hospital, specifically the Faculty Hospital Kralovske Vinohrady.
The thesis is divided into several parts. The first describes the goal of this thesis, and the general methodology of the financial analysis.
The second part of this thesis describes the legislative ramifications of the healthcare system of the Czech Republic, the methods of the financing of its healthcare equipment, a comparison with selected faculty hospitals, and the investment growth in the Faculty Hospital of Kralovske Vinohrady.
In this part we will také a closer look at the Traumacentrum project, which the previous management of this hospital meant to put into effect. This project required the building of a whole new wing, which would also have heightened the effectiveness of the various individual parts of this hospital. The project has not been realized yet due to lack of suitable funds.
The last part of this thesis focuses on the analytical breakdown of this hospital, using risk analysis, SWOT analysis, and its own financial analysis. From these results a set of measures was gathered, the application of which could improve the state of the healthcare

This thesis deals with a capacity problem with the sewage system in the city of Ceska Skalice in the Czech Republic. With the knowledge of the sustainable drainage urban system (SuDs) a technical solution of dealing with the insufficient capacity of the sewage system without having to change the sewage system can be designed. This thesis first of all, describes what SuDs is and how this particular system is applicated within the Czech Republic. There is also description of the stormwater and its impact on sewage system in the urban areas. The second part of the work contains case study of applying chosen SuDs solution to solve the problem in the Ceska Skalice sewage system. There is the comparison of the condition of the sewage system beforehand and after applying the SuDs. The concluding part of the thesis presents the results however, pros and cons of using the SuDs approach to improve better urban drainage system.

This thesis deals with the issue of rainwater management in a family house.
It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains a literary research pertaining to legislature in the outlined field, describes current solutions to rainwater management as well as history of this issue and explains reasons for it is growing importance on a general scope.
The practical part of the thesis contains assessment of factors influencing the acquisition costs as well as the system maintenance costs. Three versions of the system are in consideration taking intoaccount the number of persons occupying the family house. Factual financial costs are calculated allowing for water saving where the rainwater can be utilized for i.e. washing clothes or toilet flushing. The balance sheet partly contains the calculation of financialreturnability. The house that served as the subject of this thesis is located in in the author is domicile in the village of Arnoltice, Děčín district.
The final part of the thesis summarizes the treated issue and explains it is importance not only from the financial point of view but mainly from the perspective ofits favourable impact on natural environment.

This work establishes demonstration object of close-to-nature management in Šumava National Park. Demonstration object represents habitats of acidophilous beech-spruce forests. Considering that spruce forests occur in unnatural proportion in even-aged monocultures, there has been proposed reconstruction of current forest stands in structurally rich forests. This work analyses initial state of the forest stands and present forestry management, including grazing management which is a necessary step for suitable management proposal. Detail monitoring takes place on specified parts of demonstration object. Six permanent round-shaped plots were established, each of 0,1ha. Three of the plots are localized in 31 years old pole timber stand without any stand tending. Conversion by stabilizing thinning has been started here, using the method of target trees. Thinning focused on stability support, because the forest stands were significantly damaged by grazing. Other three permanent plots are localized in 61 years old tended forest stands. Thinning is recommended in these sites as well to support stability of forest stand and support of future target trees.

Interim goal of the dissertation thesis is recommendation of applicable solutions for increase of the company's competitiveness.
The dissertation thesis is divided in to two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part includes key concepts of given issues and methodical approaches used for economic assessment of the company. Practical part includes the company's analysis based on analysis of absolute, differential and ratiometric indicators. Based on the analysis' results possible solutions for improvement of the current state, improvement of competitiveness and business performance are included at the end of the dissertation thesis.

The chosen topic of the diploma thesis deals with economic analysis of the City District Prague 11 and the City District Prague Újezd. Both of those City Districts are the villages with extended and transferred province. The villages are different by their area and also by populations, but are situated in the same area of capital city. The City District Prague Újezd represents one part of the administrative district Prague 11.
The thesis is dividend into two parts: theoretical and practical. First part is focused on theoretical resources of the functioning, financing and structure of the state administration, villages, The City of Prague and the City Districts. At the end of the first part there are descriptions of both City Districts including their historical contexts and actual structures. Practical part analyses specific budgets, closing accounts and single actions financed by City Districts in the period 2010 to 2014. Practical part is completed with questionnaires. The conclusion is to evaluate the management of both municipalities, including follow-up to the draft budget for 2015, which takes place at Prague Újezd to balance the budget without funding from the generated funds. This procedure is also the conclusion of this study and recommendations for the future. In Prague 11 is in the draft budget to the considerable reduction in the revenue and expenditure sides. The final recommendation is then follow this trend, provided an increase in the revenue side of the available resources and focus on the efficient use of assets, especially housing stock of the city district.

The aim of my thesis is analyzing the management and financial resources of chosen primary schools. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part.
In the theoretical part, I explain the basic key words related to public good and ways of its financing. I also give a brief description of semi budgetary organizations and their bookkeeping and outline qualitative research.
In the practical part, there is a financial analysis of chosen primary schools. I offer comparison of how primary schools are influenced by their entering the We Help Schools To Success project financed by The Kellner Family Foundation focused on teachers education. Schools that are a part of the project are superior to those that are not in terms of both educational and material development. The final part of my thesis contains an evaluation of a qualitative interview I conducted with five primary school headmasters. This evaluation is a continuation of and confirms the outcome of this thesis.
