The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of erosion control measures in the locality „Obecní“ in the catastrade area of the city Letohrad. Evaluating the current state of the study site was carried out using fieldwork and digital data processing. Subsequently, suitable anti-erosion measures to remedy the gully was performed. One of the main outputs of the thesis is the drawing documentation together with situational drawings and maps. The main output of the diploma thesis is a design of a system of check-dams including calculations and budget. An integral part of the thesis is also the recommendation of suitable farming on the surrounding agricultural land. The set of proposed measures and recommendations will help to improve the current issue regarding erosion control measures in the study area.

This diploma theses deals with the financial management and development of the selected municipality. Specifically, this work was created for the town called Ždánice, located in the South Moravian Region. The aim of the thesis was to find out how the municipality financially managed in 2011-2015 and which development activities were already implemented according to the City Development Program for the period 2016-2024. The thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the literary research and the work results. In the literary research part the concepts related to the municipality, with the regional development and SWOT analysis are described. In the work results part aspects related to Ždánice city, demographic indicators, indicators of economy, SWOT analysis and fulfilment of development activities with own proposals of development activities are analyzed.

The subject of the thesis, the course of the budgetary process and economic analysis of Pelhřimov indebtedness of the town and the effect of this moment of crisis to profit center. On the basis of theoretical facts and practical findings was analyzed past financial management of the city in 2006 - 2009. The thesis concentrates especially on the most significant budget item, which means they come from and derive income. In the end was analysed financing of municipal budget, debt and built the financial outlook.

This thesis is divided up into two sections. The theory section deals with the allowance organization charactersitics, financing and economic specifics, accounting methods and with the topic of creation and use of obligatory funds. At the very beginning of the second section, the practice section, the National Institute of Technical and Vocational Education is introduced, the subject of its activities and a description of its accounting methods. The focus throughout the practice section is on analysis of economic and complementary activities of this Institute in 2002-2007.

This diploma thesis focuses on the review of economic activities of self-governing territorial units. Its aim is to outline the adjustment of the review of economic activities of self-governing territorial units in the Czech Republic. It shows the differences between the review of economic activities and audit of financial statements. It analyzes some of the results of the review of economic activities of self-governing territorial units in the period 2010 - 2012. Subsequently, the report seeks to clarify the differences in the outcome of the review of economic activities, the report on the results of the review of economic activities, prepared by civil servants (employees of regional authority) and auditors.

Insolvency act in force - Act 182/2006 Coll., represents disruptive chance in bankruptcy approach on corporation level. The most revolutionary change is possibility of company reorganization with no doubts. This thesis deals with economic rationality behind bankruptcy, mainly with economic rationality behind reorganization. The thesis is economic analysis of input for decision-making process whether debtor if proper candidate for restructuring and process of creditors payout from debtors operating income during reorganization. The thesis called Public law aspects of municipal property management deals with the topic of property management of the territorial self-governing units. The basic units are municipalities and the higher-level territorial administrative units are regions. Municipalities and regions have a legal personality and are public corporations which may have their own property and manage their own budget. Management and disposal of the self-governing units own property and it is one of the fundamental aspects of local government in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to provide an analysis of the main public law aspects disposition of the property of self-governing units. The thesis is composed of the three sections. The first two sections are focused on the general terms and principles, without which it would be impossible to comprehend more details the disposal of municipal property itself which is discussed in the third section. - Legal regulation of economic management including book- keeping of the association of unit owners The thesis aims to provide summary of legal rules regulating the economic management of the association of unit owners (hereinafter referred to as "association"). Economic management, the key term, is treated in a very broad sense, i.e. including legal regulations addressing related areas of accounting, salaries and taxes. Comparison of former and current legal regulation lies in the focus of the thesis, also included is an assessment of practical impacts of changes induced by recent private law recodification. The thesis also brings quite a few practical examples, showing application of both former and current legal regulation. The thesis comprises seven chapters. Different countries are at varying degrees centralized and need for their activity especially financial and personnel resources in conjunction with the well-defined management processes. In general, both at central and decentralized levels are managed entrusted funds. Therefore it is need in the public sector to set the functioning internal and external control mechanisms. In the Czech Republic, oversees the management of state property and the state budget independent (external) body - the Supreme Audit Office (SAO). This institution has no power of control over the management of local governments or public entities. The issue of extension of SAO competencies is currently highly debated. This work is focused on the possible extension of the SAO competencies towards local government. Author compares and evaluates current opinions about possible amendments to the Constitution and the Law on the Supreme Audit Office towards control of local governments. Fears of the representatives of local government mainly concern the possible limitations of the constitutionally given right to self-government.
