Fibromyalgi är en folksjukdom som främst drabbar kvinnor. I dagens läge finnsdet inga bot av sjukdomen. Sjuksköterskor kommer i kontakt med personer medfibromyalgi på många olika vårdinstanser, detta på grund av att personer medfibromyalgi är predisponerade för många olika besvär. Studiens syfte är att utredaom det finns vetenskaplig grund för vårdpersonal att rekommendera personer medfibromyalgi att använda sig av akupunktur eller massage för symtomlindring.Studien är utformad som en litteraturstudie och leder fram till slutsatsen attakupunktur kan tas med i behandlingen av fibromyalgi och att det behövs merforskning kring massage för att säkerställa det vetenskapliga underlaget.Resultatet i denna studie pekar på ett starkt samband mellan symptomlindring ochmassage. / Fibromyalgia is a widespread disease that primarily affects women. At presentthere is no cure of the disease. Nurses will come in contact with people withfibromyalgia in many different care areas, partly because people withfibromyalgia are predisposed to a variety of disorders. The Study aims toinvestigate whether there is scientific basis for health care professionals torecommend people with fibromyalgia to use acupuncture and massage forsymptom relief. The objective is whether there is scientific evidence torecommend acupuncture and / or massage for symptom relief in patients withfibromyalgia. The method of this study is systematic review and conclude thatacupuncture should be included in the treatment of fibromyalgia. More researchabout massage is required to ensure the scientific basis. The results of this studysuggest a strong correlation between symptomatic relief and massage.
