Identificação de torque de carga em motores de indução usando abordagem baseada em sistemas Fuzzy / Identification of load torque in induction motors using Fuzzy system approach

Sérgio Ferreira da Silva 13 July 2007 (has links)
The three phase induction motors are widely used in all industrial sectors. The selection procedure of the motor for a particular application is sometimes inaccurate due to the lack of complete knowledge about the load connected to its shaft. The proposal of this work consists of using Fuzzy system as an alternative tool to the classical methods for extraction of the load behavior and, in control process, where knowledge of the torque behavior applied to the motor shaft are need, focusing several types of loads found in industries. Simulation results are presented to validate the proposal of this work.

Vyhodnocení provozního stavu asynchronních motorů jaderné elektrárny Dukovany metodou frekvenční analýzy statorového proudu / Evaluation of the operating state of asynchronous motors of the Dukovany nuclear power plant by the method of frequency analysis of stator current

Štěpanovský, Libor January 2021 (has links)
The masters thesis is concerned with the setting of limits and criteria, the design of database environment and the evaluation of the current state of motors of the important machines related to own consumption of the Nuclear power plant Dukovany. The first part of the thesis is a short description of induction motors, the evaluation method and the inventory of the observed motors related to own consumption of Nuclear power plant Dukovany. The second part of the thesis concerns the design of limits and criteria for evaluating the current state of these important motors. Finally, the thesis shows a short description of the electro monitoring system together with the description of the database environment created. In the supplementary materials of the thesis, there is a design of a protocol template for evaluation of the current state of the motor and a technical report template for regular evaluation in monitored areas MCSA (Motor Current Signature Analysis) of the state of the induction motors.

Implementace identifikačních algoritmů v signálovém procesoru DSP56F8xxx / The implemetation of identification algorithms in digital signal processor DSP56F8xxx

Januška, Jiří January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis intends to describe some of identification methods applicable to the induction motor resulting in the profit of some of these parameters by means of mathematical analysis. Afterwards these methods are simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and in the final part algorithms of these methods are consequently implemented to the digital signal processor.

Robustní řízení elektromechanických systémů / Robust control of electromechanical systems

Pohl, Lukáš January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with the modern control approaches applicable to speed control of an induction motor. Historical perspective to the control theory and its evolution to the modern control will be presented in a short introduction. Basics of uncertainty modeling are presented along with linear fractional transformation (LFT) representation of an uncertain system. Two different approaches for robust controller synthesis are introduced - H-infinity loopshaping and mixed sensitivity H-infinity synthesis. Theoretical background is presented for both of these methods. Finally the robust controller for induction motor satisfying the control goals is designed using both methods. Design objectives are presented as transfer function weights shaping the sensitivity or complementary sensitivity function to desired shape. Several step responses were simulated to compare H-infinity loopshaping and mixed sensitivity H-infinity controllers with the conventional vector control approach.

Design and Optimization of an IE44-pole 7.5 kW Induction Motor

RODRIGUEZ GALLEGO, ALBERTO January 2014 (has links)
In this thesis, a High Efficiency (IE2), 7.5 kW, 4-pole, induction motor (IM) is studied and redesigned using finite element method (FEM) software with the purpose of increasing its efficiency to the new Super Premium Efficiency (IE4) level. First, a pre-existing model of the motor is analyzed and improved. Then, different methods to improve the efficiency of the motor are investigated and the performance of the machine is studied after each modification. Thirdly, a complete optimization of the design is carried out with the goal of developing an IE4 IM compatible with IEC standard frames. Finally, a similar optimization of the motor is performed substituting the aluminum squirrel cage by a copper one. The pros and cons of this change are studied. The results show the feasibility of reaching the IE4 efficiency level by this type of IM with a standard shaft height. Preserving the original cross-section design of the stator, this efficiency level is only reached if a copper squirrel cage is used and if the rotor cross-section is redesigned. However, if the external diameter of the stator is increased and the rotor and stator cross-sections are redesigned, aluminum rotor bars and short-circuit rings can be used to reach the IE4 efficiency level. For bada fallen kravs att motorns langd okas. Da koppar anvands kravs endast en ny tvarsnittsgeometri for rotorn medan da aluminium anvands behover bade rotor och statorgeometri andras.

Investigation of AC electrical machine stators with fractional conductor windings

Grop, Henrik January 2010 (has links)
Industry always searches the least expensive solution for a machine design. Therefore, there is a need for integrating different customer ordered machines within the same frame, while keeping the foundation of the mechanical design constant. Since the winding design in electrical machines is essential for the performance and relatively inexpensive to adapt, it can be used to meet different customer demands. This thesis investigates the foundations of a special winding named fractional conductor winding. An expression for winding factors for certain kinds of these windings is developed. Calculations showed that the selection of the winding distribution has effect on the air gap space harmonics produced by the winding. In some cases, the fifth and seventh space harmonics can be eliminated by the use of fractional conductor windings in combination with short pitching. The construction of a prototype fractional conductor wound induction motor was documented and is presented in this thesis. The air gap flux density in a dual slotted fractional conductor wound induction motor running at no load is studied. Analytical models are compared to results obtained by finite elements and measurements. It was found that analytical results overestimated the peak of the fundamental flux density by 13.5%. The overestimation was caused by the iron reluctance of the main flux path as well as saturation. Leakage was found to be a minor cause of this overestimation. Slot leakage and differential leakage in machines having these windings are studied. The analytical models were evaluated, with mostly good agreements, compared to finite element modeling as well as measurements. / QC 20100427
