No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2013-10-21 / This research sought to question how the contemporary temporalities are treated on a rural community located on the wilderness of Ceará, Inhamuns. It is a qualitative investigation of ethnographic nature (Baztán, 1995). We sought to establish a dialogue between the concepts and the obtained data on the research field. Papers of Benjamim (1994), Certeau (1996), Cuenca (2003), Munné (2004) and Khel (2009) sustained this study. Researching the said subjects took us to the quotidian of the wildman of the Inhamuns and we circled between: past, future and present of a folk that has been screened by the science. To accomplish this research, it was necessary to establish a meeting with the history, as without it won t be possible to contextualize the temporalities of the wildman. The temporalities flagged by the wilman of the Inhamuns are directly related to their beliefs, abilities and memories. It regards a particular way to deal with the watches pointers and calendar dates. The use of time it s related to the freedom, the degree of autonomy that each individual has on its quotidian. By the way, it s the everyday routine that states how the subject deals with the time and how to elaborate his temporalities. It s possible to say that on Inhamuns wildlands there s not a single way to experience the social temporalities, each subject, according to his quotidian and his internal and external necessities, determinates how this relation occurs. Key-words: time, temporality, wildland, quotidian, subjectivity. / Esta pesquisa buscou indagar como as temporalidades contemporâneas são tratadas por uma comunidade rural localizada no sertão cearense dos Inhamuns. Tratou-se de uma investigação qualitativa de caráter etnográfico (Baztán, 1995). Também buscou-se um possível diálogo entre os conceitos e os dados coletados no campo. Textos de Benjamim (1994), Certeau (1996), Cuenca (2003), Munné (2004), Martins (2006) e Khel (2009) ampararam este estudo. Pesquisar os sujeitos em questão nos levou ao cotidiano dos sertanejos dos Inhamuns e transitamos entre: passado, futuro e presente de um povo que já vem despertando interesse da ciência por suas singularidades. Para esta investigação, se fez necessário o encontro com a história, pois sem ela não seria possível contextualizar as temporalidades sertanejas. As temporalidades marcadas pelos sertanejos investigados nos Inhamuns resguardam relações diretas com suas crenças, habilidades e memórias. Diz respeito a uma maneira particular de lidar com os ponteiros dos relógios e datas dos calendários. O uso do tempo está relacionado à liberdade, ao grau de autonomia que cada indivíduo possui no seu cotidiano. Aliás, é o dia a dia que diz como o sujeito lida com o tempo e como elabora suas temporalidades. É possível afirmar que no sertão dos Inhamuns não há uma única maneira de vivenciar as temporalidades sociais, cada sujeito, de acordo com seu cotidiano e com as necessidades internas e externas, determina como se dá esta relação.
