Many factors that have a proven influence on an organization's innovative ability are missing at Västmanland. There is a resource shortage within the organization and in similar organizations in Sweden and this shortage of resources has an impact on the culture. There is no agreement within the organization that innovation can create a value, which in turn creates a culture where innovation has difficulties to thrive. Innovative initiatives are not well addressed and have difficulty creating value because of the lack of support for innovation within the organization. In order for innovation to be an established part of the organization, there must be a shared vision and clear support for innovation within the organization. / Många faktorer som har en påvisad påverkan på en organisations innovativa förmåga saknas på Region Västmanland. Det finns en resursbrist inom organisationen och liknande organisationer i Sverige och denna resursbrist har en påverkan på kulturen. Det finns ingen enighet inom organisationen att innovation kan skapa ett värde vilket i sin tur skapar en kultur där innovation har svårt att frodas. Innovativa initiativ blir inte väl bemötta och har svårt att skapa något värde då det inte finns någon gemensam förståelseinom organisationen att innovation är någonting som man vill och ska arbeta med. För att innovation ska kunna bli en etablerad del av organisationen måste det finnas en delad vision samt tydliga stöd för innovation inom organisationen
