Téma knihy jako inspirace pro autorskou inscenaci / A Theme of a Book as an Inspiration for an Author Performance

Arnsteinová, Sára January 2015 (has links)
In this diploma thesis I´m trying to describe a process of working on an author performance inspired by a book, threw analysis of my own author performance called Gog. In the introductory chapter I try to outline some similarities between working on a screenplay, as Jean-Claude Carriere speaks about it in his book Telling a story and working on a performance, if we are two, we are directors, actors, dramaturgists and we are inspired by a book. In next chapters I speak about the theme and the form of the book Gog, and afterwards I describe in detail what interested us and which main theme we chose for our performance. In the main part of this thesis I describe in detail the process of rehearsing different parts of the performance and I analyze themes that are present. Here I mention extracts from the book Gog and I describe how the text and the theme influenced our way of rehearsing and our way of choosing expression agens. I describe in detail our searching. I mention how we approached to the move, spoken word, animation and projection tasks that were our ways of expression. Afterwards I try to think about the balance of organizing different elements in the performance. Last part of this chapter is dedicated to elements of performance such a scenography, costume, music. Next chapter I address to telling a story as an important element of communication and sharing not only in theater. I am thinking about ways to communicate and about forms of telling a story. In next part of this chapter I aim to compare the attributes and possibilities of a literary work and theatre with regard to the book as an important element for our creative process. In the penultimate chapter, which has three parts, I describe in detail the theme of creation, subsequently: I reflect the collaboration in a couple, the experiences acquired during the process. I gather some unwritten rules from my experience connecting my thoughts with citations from the book of Jean-Claude Carriere. In the next part I speak more in detail about the working process and switching roles of actor and director. Afterwards I mention the importance of a feedback from somebody outside of the process, as a dramaturgical help and I mention some examples. In the last part of this chapter I analyze a question of style in author work and I try to speak about my own opinions about style. In the conclusion I mention my view of a performance as an entity, which lives its own life and I am thinking about some potential aspirations of my work. I appreciate the freedom in creativity and I mention that all this takes along a big responsibility.

Burdová, Barbora January 2015 (has links)
The whole thesis has been trying to have a look into marginal music subcultures as a field of inspiration necessary with forming an author´s performance. One of the main sources of that is the metal sub-culture which is divided into other sub-sub-fields. Author is fixing the blackmetal sub-culture into center of attention and she is trying to undercover its possibilities by theatrical items. She is trying to look at common values between theater and metal music and she is interested in how to utilize music itself, which actually serves as sound curtain only. During authors creation she is interested into expression means replacing the text. Into the front position metal aesthetic is posted, as an outlet of scenographic way of thinking and creating, and last but not least, it is the main concern of interpretation of Sami´s culture and its transformation into theatrical form.

Mechanismy tvůrčího procesu / Mechanisms of the Creative Process

Hadušovská, Michala January 2017 (has links)
In the thesis entitled Mechanisms of Creative Process, the author examines and reflects her own creation and creative process. The purpose of this study is to discover the internal order and logic of the creative process, respectively to discover the mechanisms and tools with which it works. Knowledge and awareness of the used techniques should serve to make the tools know better, consciously grasp and, above all, develop. The most important aim of the thesis was to try to follow the phases and transformations of the creative process from the creative idea to the realization of the performance. For better orientation, the process of creation and the text of the thesis are divided into four phases and two wider circuits. The first circuit deals with the period of preparation, the second part is the reflection of its practical part, the theatrical rehearsals. Tracking her own path and distinctive way and approach to creation from a distance, has given the author a clearer picture of how the mechanisms and tools work inside the process. Their knowledge and development gives them the ability to transform the thoughts, ideas and visions into reality more consciously and purposefully.

Inspirace Joyce E. Travelbee pro ošetřovatelství / Joyce Travelbee's Inspiration for Nursing

STASKOVÁ, Věra January 2015 (has links)
Currently there are noticable changes in nursing concepts, shifts in thinking and attitude towards nursing. Unlike in the past, when nursing care was provided in accordance with the biomedical model, current nursing shows attempts at greater use of interaction models reflecting a holistic approach and humanism. This fact was pointed out in the 1960's by Joyce E. Travelbee, a New Orleans psychiatric nurse, educator and nursing theoretician. The disseration intituled 'Joyce E. Travelbee's Inspiration for Nursing' is of theoretical character with the aim of analysing the legacy of Joyce E. Travelbee as a nursing history personality and her work with a tendency to express her significance for nursing. It is concieved as a historical-analytical study and a zpracována formou studia literárního odkazu a jeho analýzy s následným vypracováním interpretativního textu. In connection with the study of literary legacy and its analysis questions, for which the answers were sought, were asked: How did Joyce E. Travelbee reflect current nursing practice? What suggestions did she make in changing current attitude towards patients? What is key to longterm contribution of Joyce E. Travelbee as a theoretitian to the nursing concept? Which of Joyce E. Travelbee's ideas and literary legacies are inspirational for nursing? The contents and meaning of some terms are set out in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 reflects the development of nursing as a theory, science and practice in a chronological order and also on a national and international level, especially the period, in which Joyce E. Travelbee (1926-1973) lived and formulated her ideas. The chapter was conceived in the sense of referring to the ideas and work of individual nursing theoreticians in connection with contributions to nuring theory and practice. Chapter 3 is dedicated to the personality Joyce E. Travelbee, her biography, publishing activity and specialist texts relating to her person and work bases. Chapter 4 interprets the work of Joyce E. Travelbee. The chapter is divided into four sub-chapters with the aim of illustrating the logical sequence in the development of ideas in Joyce E. Travelbee's work. The first part deals with nursing from Joyce E. Travelbee's point of view, in the second part space is given to introduced concepts in Joyce E. Travelbee's work, the third part focusses on the explanation of the human-to-human relationship concept and the fourth part deals with nursing supervision as a tool for forging human relationships. The fifth chapter was concieved with the aim of pointing out the fact that Joyce E. Travelbee's work has been an inspiration for the authors of many publications, research studies, dissertations, contributions on web pages, and for international scientific conferences participants. Interpretation analysis of primary and secondary text sources showed that an inspirational change in nursing is that of nurse-patient and patient-nurse attitudes and the emphasis on satisfying patients' needs as well as nurses' needs. Changes in attitude can be seen in nursing education which should prepare nurses for satisfying patients' emotional and spiritual needs with an emphasis on empathy, sympathy and rapport. One of the possibilities of achieving this change in nurses' education is to include more communicative exercises, philosophy, psychology and the clarification of values in nursing educational programmes the training of nurses in self reflection, critical thinking and carrying out of supervision.

Herectví v životě a život v herectví / ACTING IN THE LIFE AND THE LIFE IN ACTING

Müller, Richard January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals, in general, with the topic of theatrical experience of a young person, and examines everyday life influences on his artistic life and on the development of art within the person self. It poses questions and looks for answers to some of those questions in the specialist literature, or by deducing from personal experience.First, numerous influences that affect a person during his studies are presented, the importance of a person’s psychological profile, as well as his understanding of himself, and of the world around him. Later on, personal experience from professional carrier is described. I am disclosing character work in the DISK theatre and I am trying to find reasons for my feelings, both, good and bad, during the rehearsing processes, and the cause of my successes and failures. Acting, on stage as well as in front of the camera, is described from an unusual point of view, focusing greatly on details that are oftentimes overlooked. The new perspective from which I am trying to present acting and the life of an artist consists not only of the professional tools for mastering the craft - such as learning new parts, adopting the technical skills, etc. - but emphasizes humanity, underlines its importance, and searches for a threshold between professional and personal life of an actor.
