For a better understanding of relevant issues, in the introduction of the thesis contains a brief historical excursus to that topic, and there are explained the general features of the process of legalization of proceeds from crime, including putting illustrative examples from the area of the criminal law, as well as in the area of financial law. As examples have been selected major bank cases which were related to AML/CFT, but also had much wider impact. The diploma thesis deals with measures against the legalization of proceeds from crime in area of banking and credit institutions and focuses primarily on the measures arising from major law Act no. 253/2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalization of proceeds from crime and terrorist financing. Consequently, the thesis deals partly with law of the European Communities, which was reflected into national legislation by the Act no. 253/2008 Coll. Following this, the diploma thesis also mentions other sources that have been adopted not only at national level but also in the context of international law. Résumé This graduation thesis The City of Čelákovice and the prominent figures of the local musical life deals with the town's history and culture, focusing mainly on the prominent figures, orchestras and other bodies of the local musical life. The paper is divided into six chapters. The introduction is dedicated to the birth and development of the city, the second chapter introduces various cultural institutions. The remaining chapters focus on the main topic of the thesis. Special attention is given not only to the prominent baroque composer Jan Zach, or to Bohumír Hanžlík, a celebrity on the current musical scene, but also to other less prominent people who left the mark on the city's musical history. The contents and focus of the paper make it especially suitable to those interested in the town of Čelákovice, its culture, prominent figures and musical history.

The thesis is focused on economic capital management of top-ranked world banks. A basic theoretical framework is summarised at the beginning. The theoretical framework is then utilised in the main - empirical part. Since economic capital is not a figure commonly reported in any available database, we have created our own database based on annual reports of top fifty world banks of the year 2008. Based on this database we provide an extensive empirical study focused on years 2007-2010. Even though one third of the banks disclose economic capital only, thanks to our approach combining both quantitative and qualitative analysis we were able to study the topic in detail. Within quantitative part the development of economic capital and its allocation is studied, the differences between regulatory and economic capital in time is measured, a relationship between quality of economic capital disclosure and rating is searched for and relationship between the value of economic capital and changes in profits during financial crisis is studied. The qualitative part consists of case studies of fourteen banks. It is focused on special and unique features of economic capital management of individual financial institutions.

Hereby presented Master Thesis deals with an analysis of preparedness of the Russian monetary policy for adoption of inflation-targeting regime. We define the impact of different factors on the level of inflation and consequently their importance in the process of predicting inflation in the period from January 2006 to September 2012 in the Russian Federation. The selection of the factors is based on theory and on the examination of the Russian monetary policy environment, taking into account the credibility, transparency and accountability of the monetary institutions and the financial sector and real economy specifications. The analysis of interconnections among the factors is based on a vector autoregressive regression model VAR(4) as well as on Granger causality test and impulse-response analysis. Our results indicate that the major role in inflation formation among the chosen variables, the exchange rate prevailed in the observed period and the interest rate gained in importance to certain extent. The choice of a nursery school is a first life step into the society. A daily schedule, age composition of educationalists, size of the facility or reachability from home are some of many criteria influencing parent's choice of the nursery school for their child. The diploma thesis "What forms the image of nursery school in the eyes of parents" describes and characterizes individual elements of image in connection with the preschool institution during particular time period and shows first moments before entering nursery school. The practical part is focused on nursery school choice criteria, parental expectations about the nursery schools and their view of the preschool education but also educationalists' opinion about the image. Sample of selected nursery schools is characterized in the thesis together with detailed data analysis and evaluation. The conclusion of thesis contains overall summary of all gained data and knowledge which can be used for suggestions of nursery school image creation.

The thesis investigates the phenomenon of new media in Czech art institutions in the 1990s. This work attempts to show how this difficult-to-define concept operated in this particular historically and geographically situated language game (using a concept developed by Ludwig Wittgenstein). The new media at the time were associated with vision of emancipation from ideologically burdened traditional media and the establishment of a new democratic society based on the Western type. The thesis is based on three case studies in which new media art penetrated first into the educational institution, and later it got through to a private institution with foreign support for exhibition programmes and for the general public, and finally in the late 90s new media art reached also a governmental organization. It is the foundation of New Media Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, the Orbis Fictus exhibition organized by the Soros Centre for Contemporary Art, and the formation of the department of intermedia and new media at the National Gallery in Prague. This thesis deals with the problem of an extent to which fiscal policy can be delegated to an independent fiscal agency, which is considered as the tool to minimize the deficit bias and also with applying this solution in case of Slovakia. Foreign literature and comparison of this type of institutions that operate in several EU countries are used as bases for solving this problem. The main outcome of this thesis is a design of a fiscal council for the Slovak Republic, which main function is to analyze public finances sustainability, fiscal policy evaluation and preparation of macroeconomic forecasts. What is more, it has some additional functions in the evaluation of measures that have an impact on fiscal policy.

The aim of this thesis is to clarify the issues of customs declaration on the specific example within the company Damco Czech Republic s.r.o. in Jaromer in the Eastern Bohemia. An export to Russian federation by international truck transport was chosen as an example, which means transport from Jaromer to Moscow. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the most signifiant pieces of information about the current state of customs issues in the Czech Republic but also within the European Union. Also it contains my opinions on the process of customs declaration and work of customs officer in the Damco CR s.r.o.

Its goal is to chart this area, specifically the towns Chomutov, Jirkov, Klášterec nad Ohří and Kadaň and explain the work of the institutions, which are working with the handicapped people. It will also deal with the social services in the Czech Republic in general. There will be two research methods in the diploma thesis - investigating of the relevant internet sources and also the personal visits of the chosen institutions, observations and conversations, if their realisation is possible. The investigation's object will primarily be the operation of these institutions, financing, legislation or clients' and employees' satisfaction and so on. The thesis can well serve as a map of the institutions for the handicapped citizens for those interested in these services as well as for the public who will be interested in getting to know more about these institutions.
