Diploma thesis dedicated to the integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic is mainly focused on the usefulness and application of integration policy through the institutions dealing with socio-economic integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic. Integration strategies of foreigners in the Czech Republic are examined only very briefly and there is an open field for the many unanswered questions. The work consists of theoretical and practical part, while the theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of integration policy in the Czech Republic, highlighting the progress and shortcomings of the integration process. Moreover it examines integration policy key institutions on the state and local level that are an integral part of integration. Last but not least it discusses non profit organizations which play within the integration process crucial role. The practical part is focused on the ongoing projects of integration of foreigners at local level. Particularly to the integration project of Pilsen called Integration of foreigners in local government level and the ongoing project of nonprofit organization Slovo 21 - Next door family. Its attempt to create a genuine integration model aims to enable learning through direct contact between the families of foreigners and Czech families.

In this thesis, the reader is familiar with th problems of consumer loans connected with insolvency petition. The thesis contains several chapters and subchapters are dedicated to consumer loans.On the basis of literature and website decribes the development and history of banking, it is defined by consumer credit and its classification and the outline th most important laws. The main goal of this thesis is the analysis of consumer credit, and their effect on the number of insolvency petitions. Practical part is dedicated to free analyzes general analysis of banking and non-banking institutions providing consumer loans and a third analysis focuses on the profile of individual borrowers. Finally, the work is a comparison and evaluation of surveyed data.

The thesis focuses on the topic of healthy lifestyle of young population from a generic point of view as well as from the closer point of view of a diet. The theoretical part talks about main factors of healthy lifestyle on physical, mental and social levels, and focuses on the lifestyle of the young population nowadays, their eating practice and the issue of school canteens associated with it. The practical part examines and evaluates the selected institution, i.e. a specific canteen in a secondary school. Attention is given to other eating options at school. The research addresses observing principles of healthy lifestyle by the given organisation and at the same time it maps the students approach. Subsequently, it proposes recommendations for changes to improve the existing situation.

This thesis focuses on the leisure time of youth under 18 years, is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part defines terms related with the issue, eg. Leisure institutions for leisure time of youth, mental health, youth and education. At the beginning of the research section is a brief description of Karlovy Vary and leisure activities in this area. A detailed analysis has been selected institutions Children and Youth Karlovy Vary. On the basis of the institutional analysis according Bronislav Malinowski is judged whether an institution fulfills its mission.

The aim of the PhD dissertation is to research political trust, specifically to describe trends in political trust and to identify factors which are related to reported trust. Political trust is vertical trust oriented to selected political institutions which are grounded in the Constitution of the Czech Republic. Following political institutions are analyzed in this study: the Government of the Czech Republic, the Chamber of Deputies, the Senate, regional councils and municipal councils. Life-time learning model proposed by Mishler and Rose, which combines cultural and institutional approaches to explanation of trust in political institutions, is used as a theoretical framework in this study. All conducted analyses make use of data from surveys carried out by CVVM and other departments of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The key finding of the study is the fact that the level of trust in political institutions is mainly determined by factors associated with 1) institutional performance which is related to political situation and the perception of own economic situation or the economic situation of the state; 2) party preferences (presence of so called "the winner effect"). The doctoral thesis Czech public art collections and the acquisition policy during the normalization era deals with the topic of domestic institutional operation in 1970s and 1980s, with specific focus on activities of galleries incorporated in the national, hierarchically organized network of art institutions. The research of these acquisition activities uncovers composition of the works of art acquired this way. It finds aspects in which individual institutions differed and detects the reasons behind these differences. Besides the acquisition process itself, the thesis also outlines the circumstances of establishment of the gallery network and summarizes its activities in more tolerant 1960s based on various material sources and oral history. The acquisition policy of galleries as such is analysed in the thesis covering the period from the beginning of the year 1970, when the resolution of the turning meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in April 1969 started to be fulfilled, until the end of the year 1989. Geographically, it is limited to the Czech territory. Master thesis "musical arts education in the Czech Republic" is about music education in the Czech Republic from primary, secondary to tertiary education. It affects the admission procedure, course of study, chamber music, concerts, competitions, theoretical courses, degree courses, orchestral and concert practice, the use of students, future employment and bringing their own opinion on the study of the Czech and German schools. It compares the number of schools with Germany and Austria, reflects the overall situation in the education and application in practice. Compares way of teaching at the music school, conservatory and university in the Czech Republic and Germany.

This thesis presents Mirella Freni as pedagogue and focuses on her educational projects, from short-term pedagogical activities to the founding of the CUBEC institute, an international center for belcanto singing in Modena, Italy. The work presents a detailed account of the founding of CUBEC, and analyses its methods of auditioning and teaching students. The final part of the work confronts knowledge of Mirella Freni´s pedagogical qualities with author´s personal experience. The work also contains chapters on the life of Mirella Freni, capturing pivotal moments in her life, from childhood to the end of her Professional singing career. The conclusion of the work presents Mirella Freni´s personal contribution to the author of the thesis.

The main aim of those theses is to present possibilities of financial support from the EU {--} Community programmes of the EU for the subjects in the South Bohemia region. There are mentioned chances of the financial support from the EU in the first part of my work. The next part presents community programmes in the field of education and culture and activities, which can be supported from these sources. Statistic figures of the financial support status are named at the end of each chapter. There is an example of the successful apply of grants as well as some successful projects realised by subjects from South Bohemia in the conclusion part of my theses. The goal of this section was to present the application process. Theses contain also some recommendation for the future increase of the financial drawing from discussed available sources.
