The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the basic characteristics and basic analysis of the information profession of the Czech Republic in the sphere of state administration and state- controlled information institutions. Some space of the work is devoted to the characteristics of public and state administration. The diploma thesis emphasizes the institutions of state administration and their division. The following chapter deals with information institutions and information folders in the state administration and their categorization. The core of the thesis is the definition of the concept of an information specialist. The final chapter summarizes not only the overview of the information science study in the Czech Republic but also the analysis of the professional application of Information Studies and Librarianship graduates in the state administration institutions.

in English This diploma thesis encompasses the idea of the economic role of a state in relation to trends of globalization applying political science, political economy and economic geography. The idea goes on by progressively defined conceptions of societal institutions - the concept of a state and political nation on basis of the social contract, the conception of the fair society on basis of the work called Justice as Fairness by John Rawls, conception of globalization in terms of its trends in the area of changing division of work and rising income inequality, and conception of the character of changing roles of a state in relation to globalization and economy. Reference state is a small, internationaly opened, democratic and developed society, which holds western values and norms. It is assumed that in such society individuals pursue their own happiness as a notion of good life. vi Summary The thesis focuses on the description and comparison of the arbitration proceedings in the Czech Republic and Switzerland before local arbitration institutions. The choice of Switzerland has been influenced by the fact that this country is a traditional seat of arbitration and several arbitration institutions are domiciled there. The diploma thesis consists of an introduction, four main chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter contains a general description of arbitration and alternative dispute resolutions. Following chapters address the comparison issue outlining the arbitration regulations in both above mentioned countries and provide a thorough analysis of two major arbitration institutions. The first being the Arbitration Court attached to the Chamber of Commerce and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic which is the sole permanent arbitration court with a full jurisdiction seated in the Czech Republic. The other institution being presented is the Swiss Chambers'Arbitration Institution that, in order to administrate arbitration proceedings, introduced in 2012 a new set of rules and revised its organisational structure. The thesis contains a description of the recruitment and selection for the European Union institutions. This HR activity is provided by the European Personnel Selection Office, which initiated "EPSO Development Programme" following an audit of personnel actions and complaints of applicants in 2010. The EPSO Development Programme's aim was to improve the recruitment and selection process including the shortening its duration and testing part. The goal of the thesis is to compare the recruitment and selection process before the EPSO Development Programme and after it. Then to evaluate how successful it was.

The thesis called "The opportunities and obstacles of active leisure time from the perspective of the high school students" deals with the leisure time of selected high school students. The main aim is get information about their possibilities and obstacles in their leisure time. The theoretical part focuses on the themes leisure time and the development period of adolescence across chapters. That part does not miss the related theme of motivation, lifestyle and technology in leisure time. The practical part evaluates the questionnaire survey and examines activities high school students in their free time, and finds out their possibilities and barriers in their leisure time. Finally, I realized an analysis of leisure institutions and created an online map of leisure institutions where students can spend their time and be active. Beneficial for pedagogical practice are results of the survey which provide feedback for the school, but also for pedagogical practice in high school in general.

Right to information of corporations The master thesis is focused on corporations as liable subjects to the right to information. The thesis also deals with a conflict of constitutional laws during the proces of requesting the information from corporations. There is a dynamic development of constitutional right to information from year 2000 on in the Czech Republic. A brief Right to Information Act and not so many amendments made it possible to complete the information law by using extensive judicature. The amount of case law in that field of law is unusual in continental law system. However, the judicature of a few last months indicates that extensive interpretation of the right to information already reached its height and further extension of information law stopped for some time. In some cases we witness even the limitation of information rights. Nevertheless the right to information of corporations is still a very turbulent field of law with its unresolved constitutional conflict. The theme of this diploma thesis is school life in Subcarpathian Ruthenia between 1918-1945. The thesis tries to provide an overview of the development of education from the times of Austro-Hungarian Monarchy to Soviet Ukraine with a focus on the period of Czechoslovak government. In addition to the chapters on teachers, the language of instruction, teaching methodology, textbooks and teaching aids, there is also a chapter dedicated to the unique somatological research of school children. The work is based on archival materials supplemented by personal stories of witnesses. Its goal is to describe the normal school life in Subcarpathian Ruthenia, especially during the First Republic, from the point of view of pupils, students and teachers. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. The aim of this thesis is to compare the scoring models of banking and non-banking institutions when using specific outcomes of the request for a loan of CZK 100 000,- of several natural persons with varying credibility (the credibility of credit). The theoretical part is divided into two chapters, the first deals with the explanation of basic terms (credit, the applicant, bank and non-bank institutions, credit scoring, rating, review on the software used and legislation in the CR). The second chapter is devoted to describe the process of credit scoring, scoring models and a scoring function. The practical part is dedicated to the comparison of two methods for approval of applicants for the loan at the non-bank and bank institutions. The final chapter presents a summary of both methods used for approval and the authoress' subjective evaluation and recommendations for improving both used methods.
