The PWM (pulse-width-modulated) type voltage source converters (VSC) allow a precise speed control of induction motors with maximum achievable energy efficiency. However, the rapid growth of this technology has created quite a concern, as the PWM waveform produces complex transients that stress the motor insulation, to much severe levels, compared to the normal sinusoidal voltage waveforms. As a result, the machine may fail prematurely due to increased dielectric heating; high turn-to-turn stress caused by non-linear potential distributions; increased partial discharge (PD) activities due to overshoots in pulse waveforms; and built-up space charge by high frequency signals. The present work therefore addresses the problems associated with enamelled wires and groundwall insulation in motor stator coil working under PWM-VSC.

Diploma thesis evaluates the influence of the thermal insulation of municipal buildings and expenses associated with the running of these properties. First is analyzed the issue of energy demands of buildings then the possibilities of reducing heat loss and possible material variants . Using the method of building insulation ETICS is analyzed in detail. Thermal insulation is designed in several versions for each building . The thesis includes thermal assessment of the original state of the building and subsequently heat- assessment after each variant insulation. The conclusion evaluates the payback period of each variant.

The aim of the diploma thesis is processing of the design documentation for realization of the construction of a kindergarten in Pohořelice. It is a detached two-storey building with a partial basement. The building is divided into two functional objects. There are two classes for the kindergarten, kitchen, and offices on the first floor. On the second floor there is two classes of kindergarten too, and three classes for school children. Vertical supporting structures are made of ceramic blocks, in the basement there are reinforced concrete structures. Horizontal load-bearing structures ale mad of prestresses hollow core slabs Spiroll. The object is based on concrete strip foundations. The building is roofed with green flat roof.

The theme of the diploma thesis "Effect of energy care on building prices" is the design and assessment of several measures, two of which generally lead to lower heating costs. The diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the current state of the family house and determination of PENB before the construction modifications and subsequently after the construction modifications, defining subsequent measures for energy saving implementation, both in terms of energy, economic and also environmental.

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of a new guesthouse with a restaurant. The building is located in a slightly sloping terrain in the cadastral area of the village Vlasatice Brno-venkov in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic. The ground-plan shape of the building is mostly rectangular with folded facade parts. It is a partially basement building, to a lesser extent, recessed below ground level with three above-ground floors. The pension has a total of 22 rooms with a total capacity of 46 persons for short-term accommodation. Four rooms on the first floor are designed as wheelchair accessible. For the proper operation of the pension there is a reception on the first floor and an office with the appropriate meeting room on the second floor. One-storey part of the building consists of a restaurant with a capacity of 76 persons, which is designed as a frame skeleton with intensive vegetation single-skin flat roof. The preparation and meals and service of the restaurant is ensured by the kitchen together with its operations and respective warehouses located on the first floor. The basement is used primarily for the operation of the guesthouse, which is located air-conditioning engine room, utility room, workshop or warehouse. The building is for the most part bricked and the peripheral, internal bearing or partition walls are made of polished ceramic blocks porotherm. External walls are insulated with contact insulation system ETICS of gray EPS polystyrene. The glazed Schüco façade is used as the shell of the skeleton structure. The construction of the ceiling is composed of filigree ceiling panels and a singlelayer flat roof with a slope of 3% is used for roofing the building. The thesis contains project documentation for the realization of the construction.

The diploma thesis is elaborate in order to evaluate the economic returns of each proposed building insulation options for seniors in Šternberk. For the calculation use to secluded brick apartment building in the street Žitná. The theoretical section describes the types of buildings according to heating demand and a list of different variants of thermal insulation materials. The second part contains suggestions for building insulation in several variants. It worked certificate of energy performance of buildings, costs of proposed options and the costs of operating the apartment building before and after the insulation. Based on the comparison of results is elaborate economic returns for each of the proposed options.

Diploma thesis named The influence of insulating a block of flats in Židenice is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part there are mentioned types of the thermal insulation and their attributes, methods of insulation and types of assessment energy consumption of buildings. Basic concepts and legislation of the thermal technical properties are described in the theoretical too. In the practical part there are processed three variants in which I determine the calculation of the overall value for the insulation, energy consumption and simple payback period and influence for total price of the apartment building.

In my diploma thesis I drafted a layout of a medical facility of emergency care in the town Kravaře. I focus on a choice of an appropriate structural design and processing of the design documentation for the construction in accordance with the laws, bylaws and the technical standard. The building is a standalone three stories building without cellar and with a flat roof. There are 16 medical units, a pharmacy and an optician. The construction is based on reinforced concrete foundation slab and walled with sand-lime blocks. The ceiling is constructed from cast-in-place reinforced slab. The façade is made of combination of ventilated façade with fibre-cement board paneling, insulation system and a glazed area with sunscreen. The construction is roofed with a warm flat roof. The openings in the external walls are designed as aluminum infills.
