The aim of my diploma thesis is to elaborate project documentation for the execution of a new building home for elderly people. The intention is to construct a new apartment building for pensioners who are able to do activities of daily living. There can be found 24 lease flats for a maximum of 30 accommodated people. The home offers 12 hours care service and has rooms for carers, dining rooms, places for rehabilitation, outpatient care and stores for keeping accommodated people’s things. The whole area has wheelchair access and counts with the movement of people with reduced mobility. The building is designed as brick, using clay blocks which are put on concrete foundation strips. Thermal insulation is a combination of contact thermal insulation system and ventilated facade with hanging plates. The roofing is designed partly as a float double-shell roof with timber truss girder, and partly as a single-shell roof with concrete load-bearing structure. The drawing documentation has been created using computer programs AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and the programs by doc. Dr. Ing. Zbyněk Svoboda (Teplo, Area, Stabilita, Simulace) and another simple computer programs like Excel were used for the thermal assessment.

The subject of my diploma thesis is a design of new kindergarten and elaboration of documentation for the construction. The building is situated in the southwestern suburb of Brno, in the district Brno-Starý Lískovec district. The building is set in a slightly sloping terrain. The building has two floors and and basement, created by partial basement of the building. The building is characterized with two wings designed at right angles and a decent coloured facade. The building contains two kindergarten classrooms with a capacity of 48 children with operational facilities, a rentable part for public, the administrative of the school and a technical facilities of the building. The first floor contains two separate kindergarten classes, each with 24 children, teacher's cabinet, toy storage room and a kitchen. The kitchen is designed without food preparation, with a food delivery company. Each kindergarten class has its own entrance. On the second floor is a rentable space containing a classroom, workshop, lounge and terrace. There are also an isolation room, a gym for children and a head master's office. The building is designed to a low energy standard, definated by near zero heat energy building (nzeb) standarts. There is established a wheelchair access to the building, A lift is proposed in the building. The structural design is proposed as a ceramic block wall with contact insulation system. The vertical strucutres are made of reinforced concrete cast-in-place ceiling. The building is based on concrete foundation and is covered by a single-skin, flat roof with a layer of extensive flora.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a free-standing veterinary clinic building in Nová Paka, in the form of project documentation for the construction. The building of the veterinary clinic consists of 3 rectangles forming a Z-shape, where the entrance to the building of the veterinary clinic, its operational and administrative part is located in the eastern part. In the western rectangle there is a separate and operationally separate entrance to the apartment unit, which is located on the second floor. The entrance to the veterinary clinic building and the housing unit is barrier-free. The building will be located in a slightly sloping terrain (3.49%). The main facade of the building with the entrance to the building is oriented to the southwest. The separate entrance to the apartment unit is from the northeast side. The perimeter masonry consists of the Porotherm system with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system in a thickness of 300 mm and 200 mm ETICS masonry. The internal load-bearing masonry also consists of a Porotoherm masonry system in a thickness of 250 mm. Internal non-load-bearing masonry consisting of the Porotherm system in thicknesses of 115 and 140 mm. The ceiling structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab th. 200 mm. Above the veterinary clinic, the roof area forming the terrace of the housing unit is considered, divided into two parts 1) with a vegetation layer and 2) with a tread layer of concrete paving on the targets. The main waterproofing layer of the flat roof consists of strips of SBS modified asphalt. Above the 2nd floor, a sloping hip roof made of glued wooden trusses is considered, and a sheet metal roofing is considered as the roof covering of the truss roof. The windows are designed with insulating triple glazing. The attic on the flat roof is equipped with an aluminum railing with a vertical bar infill. The topic of the diploma thesis „The impact of executing new thermal insulation on a apartment building on the expenses associated with its operation “ is a draft and appraisal of four variants of thermal insulation of the building. The thesis deals with the assessment of the current proposal for apartment building envelopes along with proposing alternative plans with emphasis on reducing heating costs. The first section describes the types of buildings according to heating demand and a list of different variants of thermal insulation materials. The second part is devoted to a specific apartment building in the Ústí nad Labem for which there are designed in four variants of insulation. The work includes thermal assessment in original condition and the assessment of new condition modified by adding thermal insulation. Through research will bedetermined price of implementation of proposed insulation options together with the costs of operation of the apartment building. In conclusion, the diploma thesis evaluates the payback period of insulation.

Insulation in rotating machines is a common cause for failure. Therefore, research in the area is large and is important to further increase the knowledge of the phenomena related to insulation degradation. This thesis is a case study on 20 stator bars obtained from a generator that had been showing signs of insulation degradation while in operation. The insulation was investigated using a range of measurements to be able to evaluate the degradation of these bars. The measurements performed were electrical partial discharge measurements, acoustic partial discharge measurements, dielectric response measurements, and breakdown testing. Furthermore, a more scientific approach to the commonly used tap test in the industry was conducted, which has not been done before and the purpose was to validate this commonly used test method. It was concluded that the bars have a significant amount of partial discharges within them, and that the stress grading is likely to be blamed in many of the worst cases. Furthermore, the dielectric response measurements provided good information on the thermal stability of the insulation. The set-up of the tap test did not provide reasonable results, and the method approach as well as the experimental set-up was to blame for this. In future work, investigating this specific area could be beneficial. The electrical partial discharge measurements and the breakdown test provided unexpected results when compared, where the former indicated much degradation while the latter proved that the bars can withstand very high voltage levels. / Isolering i roterande maskiner är en vanlig orsak till fel. Forskningen på området är därför omfattande och viktig för att ytterligare öka kunskapen om fenomen som rör isoleringsnedbrytning. Denna avhandling är en fallstudie på 20 statorstänger som erhållits från en generator som hade visat tecken på isoleringsnedbrytning under drift. Isoleringen undersöktes med hjälp av en rad olika mätningar för att kunna utvärdera nedbrytningen av dessa stänger. De mätningar som utfördes var mätningar av elektriska partiella urladdningar, akustiska partiella urladdningar, mätningar av dielektrisk respons och genombrottstester. Dessutom genomfördes ett mer vetenskapligt tillvägagångssätt för det allmänt använda tapptestet i branschen, vilket inte har gjorts tidigare och syftet var att validera denna allmänt använda testmetod. Slutsatsen blev att stängerna har en betydande mängd partiella urladdningar i sig, och att spänningsgraderingen sannolikt får skulden i många av de värsta fallen. Dessutom gav mätningarna av den dielektriska responsen god information om isoleringens termiska stabilitet. Upplägget för tapptestet gav inte rimliga resultat, och detta berodde både på metodiken och på försöksupplägget. I framtida arbete kan det vara bra att undersöka detta specifika område. Mätningarna av den elektriska partiella urladdningen och genombrottstestet gav oväntade resultat när de jämfördes, där de förstnämnda visade på mycket försämring medan de sistnämnda bevisade att stängerna kan motstå mycket höga spänningsnivåer.

This thesis describes the building of a residential house called Rezidence Sochorova BD02 in Brno, Žabovřesky. The aim was the creation of the main parts of a constructional-technological project focused on the design of transport relations, the construction site facilities and its machinery, the creation of selected technological regulations and their control and testing plans. To secure safety and to protect health during the construction work itself, a risk plan and a suggestion of safety aids was created. In addition, an itemized budget of the construction, a time plan, environmental protection and a financial and time comparison of using a hopper in contrast to a concrete pump.

This Master’s thesis deals with the design and elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a multifunctional building in Pardubice. The building is located on plots No. 2426/35 and 2426/36, in the cadastral area of Pardubice. It is located in an area close to the city center. There used to be barracks in this place. The outline of the house is "bitten" L-shaped. The building consists of civic amenities, where there are Alza showrooms, musical instrument showrooms, cafes, rehabilitation centers and massage centers. Another part are offices. All floors are barrier-free. The building has no basement. The main arterial communication of the house passes through the hall, which goes diagonally through the building. This corridor connects the individual establishments, technical facilities, stairs, elevator, and parking lot behind the building. Movement between individual floors is ensured by a monolithic staircase and an elevator. The building also includes a parking area for cars, access road and another garden with space for outdoor seating. The building is based on strip foundation and pad footing foundation made of plain concrete. The load-bearing structures are made of ceramic and brick blocks and columns. The building has a longitudinal compositional system. The ceilings are designed as reinforced concrete slabs. The exterior walls are plastered with thermo-insulating plaster. The walls in the roof entrance section are contact-insulated with mineral wool. In the place of the plinth, the insulation is made through extruded polystyrene. The roofing is designed as a single-skin flat roof with rainwater outlet/roof outlet. Next to the land there is a local road.

The final thesis is focused on the design and elaboration of the project documentation of the sports and relaxation center. The proposed building is located in the south-eastern part of the town of Hradec Králové, in a location supposed for buildings and areas of sports and relaxation use. It is a three-storey building with a flat roof and partial basement. The construction system is wall-mounted with a combination of skeleton. The building is based on plain concrete and reinforced concrete foundation footing. The peripheral, supporting and partition walls are designed from ceramic blocks POROTHERM. The inner load-bearing elements consist mainly of reinforced concrete columns. The ceiling structure is designed from reinforced concrete slabs supported locally. The perimeter walls of the first overground floor and part of the perimeter walls of the basement are insulated by an external contact thermal insulation system. The thermal insulation of the perimeter walls of the second floor is designed by means of a ventilated facade with facade tiles except the squash courts and the relaxation area. The building is functionally divided into three main parts, where the central part forms an entrance hall with comunication spaces of all floors. In this part a basement with technical facilities is designed. The right part of the ground floor consists of a restaurant with a bowling alley and a kitchen with storage and hygienic facilities. As part of this section, a gym and exercise rooms for fitness exercises, spinning and TRX are designed on the second floor. The left part consists of two squash courts with the appropriate facilities and massage areas. There is also a relaxing facilities with a north-facing terrace on the second floor. There are also dressing rooms and hygienic facilities. The designed object is accessible for disabled people. There is a parking lot for 40 cars, 3 motorcycles, one bus and three barracks for cars.

This diploma thesis describes the design and processing of project documentation pension. The proposed facility is located in the village of Železná Ruda- Pamferova Hut. The site is widely used by tourists in winter and summer. This is partly basement building, which has 2 storeys and an attic. The roof is designed as a gabled dormer with a flat roof. The building is based on the footings of plain concrete and under the reinforced concrete pillars are designed shoe. Supporting, peripheral and partition walls are designed from sand-lime bricks SENDWIX. An exception is peripheral walls of the basement, which is in contact with soil, which is designed as a lost formwork. In the dining area, which has an open reinforced concrete columns. Ceiling structure will consist of prestressed ceiling panels SPIROLL. Perimeter walls are insulated using external thermal insulation composite system using insulation from stone wool. The building is functionally divided into three main parts with a common main entrance. The first part is a restaurant with a kitchen, storage and kitchen facilities. This section is designed restaurants with a total capacity of 26 persons, the capacity will be in the summer to expand the possible capacity of the terrace, which belongs to the dining room. It is also proposed sanitary facilities for visitors to the restaurant, kitchen with storage and facilities for staff. The diploma thesis deals with the design of a rehabilitation center, which is located in the cadastral area of the village Mušov on the border of the village Pasohlávky. It is a two-storey rehabilitation center with a gym and a partial basement. The thesis deepens the initiative of Thermal Pasohlávky, which plans to build a spa resort in the same section, combining elements of spa care, recreation and sports use. The object fulfills the function of a rehabilitation medical facility. The center is designed for up to 50 patients and is functionally divided into three parts. The first part consists of rehabilitation. We will find here several exercise rooms, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, doctor's office with waiting room and reception. Rehabilitation also includes a gym with access to the terrace and park. On the second floor we can find specialized department of ergotherapy for people with different types of disabilities and second functional part of the bulding designed for staff facilities. It is made up of staffing facilities, dressing rooms, offices and meeting rooms. The third functional part consist from the technical background of the building and is located on the ground floor. The object is designed as a wall system, built from sand-lime bricks km beta Sendvix and insulated with the ETICS thermal insulation made from mineral wool. Horizontal supporting structures are designed as reinforced concrete. The entire building is roofed with a flat roof. Wooden windows and doors are used in the building to fill the holes. Before the building is a parking lot for employees and visitors of the rehabilitation facility. The design respects the principles of barrier-free solutions. The bachelor thesis is elaborated in the form of a project documentation for the execution of the construction.
