People´s Republic of China at the United Nations-voting and how it corresponds to Chinese foreign policy / Čína v OSN: Jak se její zahraniční politika shoduje s hlasovánímVedralová, Zuzana January 2013 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the correlation of the UNSC voting behaviour of the People's Republic of China and its foreign policy. China's importance as a global power at the platform of the UN has been rising ever since 1971, the year of China's admittance as a new member of the UN and more importantly also the permanent member of the Security Council with the power of veto. Given that the veto power strongly influences the actions of the UNSC, its use has served as a major indicator of what issues are considered as most unfavourable and threatening to China's national interests and foreign policy goals. This thesis elaborates on the development of the foreign policy of China, which has changed significantly since the year of its acquired UN membership but has also kept many principles, present even before the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949. By specifically concentrating on the individual cast vetoes, also considering the use of a so-called hidden veto and the reasons behind them being cast, this thesis tries to find out, how China has been using its veto power with regards to its declared foreign policy objectives within the UN Security Council.

Master thesis deals with the influence of milling to resulting surface integrity of gear tested by Barkhausen Noise Analysis technique. Two sets of gears milled by different machines by comparable parameters were used to solve the task. The testing of surface integrity was carried out after heat treatment and final grinding. It was experimentaly approved the effected surface/subsurface damage caused by milling remains in the material through the heat treatment. Based on these results, it can be assumed that different milling affects the resulting surface integrity after HT.

Ústavněprávní ochrana tělesné integrity pacientů / Constitutional Protection of Physical Integrity of PatientsVu Thanh, Tam January 2020 (has links)
The main topic of the master's thesis is protection of bodily integrity, which started to play an important role since the beginning of this millennium in the continental Europe in support of patient's individual rights. The thesis particularly undergoes research by which means is patient's bodily integrity guaranteed on the constitutional level. For that purpose, the thesis analyses informed consent in its various forms, namely in comparisons to foreign literature and judgements in USA and United Kingdom. Simultaneously the court decision became the centre of attention, because of its guarantee to protect bodily integrity to minors and incompatible people. These conclusions the thesis then follows up and applies on cases, in which is bodily integrity of patient is most vulnerable. The conclusion of this thesis is that the protection of bodily integrity is guaranteed on the constitutional level by art. 7 par. 1 Charter of fundamental rights and freedoms and art. 8 European Convention on human rights. Simultaneously the thesis comes to the conclusion that in some cases the protection of bodily integrity in not fully guaranteed. That's the case of sterilization of transsexual patients who are forced to undergo this surgery by statutory regulation. The thesis in the case of compulsory vaccination...

Měření integrity osobnosti - test konzistence odpovědí / Integrity measure - test of answers' consistencySalzerová, Aneta January 2019 (has links)
The thesis addresses response consistency in questionaries, the concept of integrity and use of integrity tests. Next chapter deals with consistency and describes possible sources of response variability and scales which is used for consistency measurement. The third chapter addresses response distortion and methods of its measurement. Last part describes cognitive functions which could affect answering a questionary and introduces a relation between psychopathological symptoms and questionary responses. The empirical part of the thesis studies response consistency in each category and relation between integrity test in work environment, consistency and demographic data of respondents. Difference between a number of identical answers about social desirability and about neutral information showed statistical significance. Therefore, hypotheses about the highest consistency in neutral information was supported. The thesis also revealed that a higher score in interference relates to a higher score of consistency. Finally, two correlations were found out. First was a positive correlation between integrity and number of years respondents have worked, second was a negative correlation between interference and age. Keywords: integrity, social desirability, consistency, validity, counterproductive behaviour

Plagiarism in the opinions of FRDIS studentsHerbočková, Lucie January 2019 (has links)
In the last decade, plagiarism is a frequent form of misconduct in the academic environment in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study was to analyze the attitudes toward, perceptions of, and understanding of plagiarism among students of the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies, Mendel University in Brno. The questionnaire was administered between May and July 2018 to 249 students enrolled in the Summer Semester 2017/2018 at the FRDIS, including students of Bachelor and Master Study programs. The findings indicated that citation literacy and awareness of plagiarism have been briefly discussed in the faculty’s curriculum. The knowledge and understanding of plagiarism among respondents were quite high; however, many students are still intentionally plagiarizing. One of the main problems is the lack of citation ethics education every study year, which brings a high level of uncertainty in students’ minds. The respondents lacked comprehensive information about and solutions for the issues of citation ethics and plagiarism. There is a need to introduce a plagiarism policy and its consequences as well as shedding more light on citation ethics in general. Moreover, it is crucial to create materials, including lectures, courses, and online manuals to help students feel more confident while referring to citation sources.

PhDr. Marek Preiss, Ph.D. Konzultant: PhDr. et PaedDr. Pavel Harsa, Ph.D. et Ph.D. Praha, 2021 ABSTRACT Integrity is a psychological and philosophical construct, which is closely related to the concepts of moral psychology. In different psychological disciplines it is often associated with related constructs including conscientiousness, virtue, honesty or emotional stability. In Czech psychological and psychiatric practice integrity is a variable, which is commonly not measured and evaluated as a personal asset, mainly due to the fact that there is a lack of proper instruments, which would be accessible to clinicians or researchers. The main goal of this dissertation thesis was to introduce newly developed integrity test, which is applicable in clinical and in non-clinical settings. Thus, this thesis summarizes the...

Studium účinků pasivních silových složek řezání na obráběný povrch / An experimental study of the impact of passive forces of cutting on a machined surfaceSlaný, Martin January 2013 (has links)
This dissertation thesis focuses on the evaluation of modern machine tools, especially tools for finishing operations, with which the effect of the passive force components on the machining process is evaluated. The thesis will examine the analysis of creating chips and circumstances that accompany this process and substantially involve the formation of a new surface. The analysis of the process of the recording of the power load of the MT3 tool takes place in the experimental part of the thesis. MT3 is a reaming head intended for finishing holes at high cutting speeds (100-200 m.min-1) with removal of small cross section AD (0.024 mm2) chips. Particular attention is paid to the newly created profile from the surface after machining and evaluation of changes in geometry and loading of the cutting edge, which is significantly reflected in the establishment and the development of passive forces.
