Unga muslimska kvinnor med slöja och deras upplevelser av den svenska arbetsmarknaden : En studie ur ett invandrarperspektiv / Young Muslim Women with Veils and their Experiences of the Swedish Labour Market : A Study from an Immigrant Perspective

In this study, a qualitative method has been used to investigate the role of religion when young, veiled muslim women with an immigrant background choose their education. The work is based on a women's perspective, only young women have participated in the study. A brief introductory background on the study's research area has been presented. The questions that have been asked in the essay are assigned in three different parts around the research area of ​​what role religion has when young women choose their education from different points of view. Follow-up questions have also been included during the interview to gain a broader view of questions concerning the subject.    The study was based on theoretical perspectives that were considered relevant to the research area. Previous research that links the subject has also been presented. With the help of interviews and collected data, an analytical picture has been presented of problematic aspects which have then been reported in the analysis of what it is like to live from the outside under a "Swedish society". Based on not being ethnic Swedish but coming from an immigrant background and what opportunities and limitations it means for a muslim woman wearing a veil.
