The title of this diploma thesis is "Provisional Measure in International Procedural Law". The purpose of provisional measures is a preservation of the rights of each party pending the settlement of the dispute which means pending the definitive decision in the case. It helps to protect the object of the litigation and to maintain in its state as it existed on the initiation of the proceedings. Furthermore, the function is a preservation of the integrity of the final judgment and the prevention of violent self-help. I chose the issue of provisional measures as a topic of my diploma thesis because it is an essential instrument to enable any international court or tribunal to perform its functions. The aim of the thesis is to analyze law containing provisions relating to order of provisional measures and practice of particular international courts and tribunals. 1 Abstract This thesis aims to transparently elaborate the topic of damages in investment disputes. Chapter One is a brief introduction to the problem. It provides a short clarification of the concept and meaning of arbitration and its importance for the protection of investors; it also describes the principles of modern forms of investor protection. The end of the first Chapter includes a short introduction regarding the sources on damages in investment arbitration. Chapter Two deals with the issue of valuation. At the beginning the author approaches the issue in general, describing the basic terminology and definitions and providing the classification of the valuation methodology (Market-Based Approache, Income- Based Approach, Asset-Based Approach). This Dissertation is focused on issues concerning the position of an expert in international arbitration proceedings and in international investment disputes. Unlike proceedings conducted before general courts of law, arbitration proceedings have a number of advantages, and therefore they are used very often to resolve disputes in this area, and arbitration proceedings are used almost exclusively with regard to resolution of disputes relating to international investments. The aim of the Dissertation was an analysis of dispute resolution in arbitration proceedings from the expert's point of view and the expert's position in this procedure. It is without any doubt that experts can help arbitrators to reach a qualified resolution of disputes in a significant way. At first, the Dissertation deals with general and historical issues, such as comparison of methods of dispute solution where an international element appears, in both arbitration and judicial proceedings, and it lists the advantages of arbitration proceedings as well. In my thesis I dealt with the capital decision making, with the methods to classification of the investments and with decision making under risk and uncertainty. The aim of the thesis was the application of mathematical methods by selection the options of the investments. The main task was to show the possibility of using decision trees, which are the graphical instruments for describing actions available to the decision maker. In the practical part there is described the process of making a decision tree on the example of the sale of real properties and on the example of the extraction of coal oil.

The theoretical part of the thesis introduces Austrian theory of business cycles and analyses equilibrium of savings and investments together with the transmission mechanism between savings, deposits, loans and investments. The practical part of the thesis explores business cycle and credit cycle. It analyses an excessive loan expansion of commercial banks together with a excessively expansive policy of central bank. The thesis deals with a procyclical action of commercial banks and contemporary tools of central bank with their limited effectiveness. Furthermore, the thesis analyses the possible adjustments of monetary policy with the emphasis on the macroprudential policy and its individual credit indicators. The end of the thesis deals with the method of credit rationing and with the imbalance between demand and supply at the credit market of non-financial corporations, which is modelled using the technique of disequilibrium model.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to characterize the process of investment calculations at Bosch Diesel company and to compare Bosch Diesel s effectiveness of investment evaluation methodology with the methodology recommended in teaching literature. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part defines various methods for evaluation of investments. It also deals with estimation of cash flow of an investment, calculation of a discount rate and risk analysis. The practical part illustrates the process of investment calculations at Bosch Diesel company by the means of the real investment in production of CP4 pumps. According to the found deviations the investment calculation of this project is recalculated. In the conclusion there are proposals for how the investment process of the company could be improved.

The aim of this thesis is to examine and evaluate the approaches of China and India towards their commercial diplomacy. The performance of these countries is compared in 4 broad areas: their involvement in the World Trade Organization, their approach towards regional and bilateral trade agreements and the architecture of their export and investment promotion systems. The comparison takes into account also the institutional set up of their commercial diplomacy at the government level. In the concluding section, we determine, which system is more efficient and we try to provide explanation for the same.

The goal is to reach out to the public in general and offer them the possibility of low-cost travel. The introductory part contains theoretical starting points and explains the necessary terms. The second analytical part evaluates the market environment through external, internal and sectoral analyzes. The final part focuses on the development of a actual business plan. The reader will be thoroughly acquainted with the goal of the whole project, the various services offered, the competitive advantage and the specific business model of the whole project.

The aim of the thesis is the economic evaluation of return of the different variants of thermal insulation for residential building in Slavičín. In the first part are described the topics, which is related to the issue. Further, it is written the entire range of insulations, which currently are appear on the domestic market. In the practical part is described the residential house and are performed by the proposals of the variants of thermal insulation. Further, they are processed energy performance certificates for buildings, the cost to implement the options chosen. In conclusion, the evaluated individual variants and determined their economic return.
