Tesis para optar al grado de Magíster en Finanzas / El objetivo de este estudio es realizar una valoración económica de la empresa Ripley Corp S.A.
Para esto se utilizará una de las metodologías más robustas y precisas existente dentro de los
diversos grupos de métodos de valoración de empresas pre
sentes en
la literatura, conocida como:
Método de Flujo de Caja Descontado (DCF por sus siglas en inglés
-
Discounted Cash Flow).
Este método, conceptualmente más utilizado, permite efectuar valoraciones de empresas mediante
la construcción y proyección de flujos d
ebido a que está
directamente
relacionado con la utilidad
y el crecimiento del negocio evaluado
.
El proceso para
realizar una correcta valoración se basó
, principalmente,
en el análisis detallado
de todas aquellas variables que
podrían incidir
en el compor
tamie
nto de los flujos futuros de la
compañía
.
Para esto
, se utilizó
una detallada descripción de la empresa e industria a la que
Ripley Corp
pertenece.
Centrando el análisis en
el posicionamiento de
la compañía
dentro
la industria
del
r
etail
, analizando sus principales comparables, rubros y negocios.
Luego se realizó un estudio
desde la óptica financiera, mediante
el análisis
de las
operaciones
,
inversio
nes,
financiamiento y estructura de deuda
de la empresa
,
junto con un análisis
de
las
dos
empresas comparables seleccionadas
para este estudio
:
Falabella e Hites.
En esta misma línea
y
para poder realizar
una comparación apropiada, se estudió la situación financiera de
estas dos
empresas, detectando
tanto sus fortalezas como
debilidades.
La
ventana de t
iempo utilizada para la elaboración de la valoración fue
desde el
año 2009 hasta el
30 de septiembre del año
2013.
El primer paso
realizado en el
estudio,
con
sideró
estimar la estructura de capital de
la
empresa
,
utilizando
las estructuras de c
apital
históricas disponibles desde el año 2009 en adelante
. Luego
utilizando el
promedio ponderado del costo de capital WACC
(
Weighted Average Cost of
Capital)
,
se estimó el costo de
capital
(
k
0
)
de Ripley Corp.
Para la elaboración de la valoración
se llevaron a cabo
proyecciones
de
ingresos, costos, gastos,
etc., es decir, todas aquellas variables necesarias para proyectar un estado
de resultados. Luego
de
esto,
se incorporaron
distintos ajustes
al estado de resultados, convirtiéndolo
en un flujo d
e c
aja
libre, el cual nos permitió
obtener el valor de la empresa y por ende, el precio de su acción. Al 30
de septiembre del 2013
, mediante el método de flujo de
cajas descontadas
se obtuvo un precio por
acción
para Ripley Corp
de
$487,20

Esta dissertação tem por objetivo central demonstrar, por meio da análise da discografia do compositor e intérprete chileno Víctor Jara, e, mais especificamente, de seu disco La Población, que a subjugação dos movimentos populares, já no imediato pós-golpe civilmilitar chileno de 11 de setembro de 1973, foi tão ou mais importante do que a dos canais propriamente políticos, explicitados na Unidad Popular e no governo de Salvador Allende. Decorrente deste problema geral, verificam-se os mecanismos de Terror de Estado adotados na primeira fase da ditadura chilena (11 de setembro a 31 de dezembro de 1973), apontando seus desdobramentos no marco legal e institucional e atentando para os efeitos de tais medidas na desestruturação dos movimentos populares de então. I will use description and explanation to examine the influence of mystification, intertextuality and comicality on the success of this Prague theatre. Recordings of the Divadlo Járy Cimrmana performances and the book issues of their plays will be instrumental to this goal. The theory will be largely adopted from B. Brouk, V. Borecký, J. Homoláč, H. Bergeson and L. Dvorský.

Stereotypy v díle Járy Cimrmana / Stereotypes in the Works of Jára CimrmanBulejová, Hana January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the dramatic work of Jara Cimrman, which is based on the cooperation of two authors named Zdenek Sverak and Ladislav Smoljak. In the introductory chapters we analyze the genesis of mystifying legend named Jara Cimrman, then his way from the radio show to the theatre and also his own cult, which all leads to the general poetics of the Theatre of Jara Cimrman. We can find some related attributes in this theatre, like specific acting, phenomenon of their workshops and imaginative humour. All of these attributes leads to the definition of repetitive stereotypes in the plays of this theatre. In this thesis we also try to define the genre of the plays, also their subject matter, topics and their motives. The aim of this thesis is to describe these motives and also its gradual progress as in the particular dramas, so in the social atmosphere of those days.

My thesis has a didactic character. It consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with Sedlčany region, the landscape of Central Vltava valley, its natural beauty and historical and cultural sights. This section also focuses on presentation of the folk traditions in the course of the year. The year in my thesis is divided into autumn, winter and spring seasons. In autumn, my work deals with St. Martin festival, which was almost forgotten but recently the topic of this festival has been returning to elementary school education. Christmas is the most popular in winter and in spring my work is focused mainly on Easter. The practical part consists of a project day and two sets of lesson plans concerning St. Martin festival and Christmas. The one-day project day combines interrelationships among subjects and cross-curricular topics. The practical part also includes worksheets that were used during the project day at our elementary school. Civic studies teachers can use the worksheets when preparing their lessons.

1 Abstract In my diploma thesis I deal with the concept of the Jára Cimrman Theater. Using description and explanation, I examine the influence of mystification, fictional worlds, intertextuality, and special effects of the theater comicality up on its success and unwavering popularity among the audience. For this purpose, I work with audiovisual recordings and the book release of all theater plays by the Jára Cimrman Theater. In terms of theoretical research, I use bibliographic resources, among which are texts, articles, studies and publications by Lubomír Doležel, Umberto Eco and other authors whose works are relevant to the topic of my diploma thesis. In the diploma thesis I present an interpretation of theoretical knowledge, opinions, comments and reflections related to the chosen topic. The topic is a subject of broad professional discourse and is theoretically so complex that this diploma thesis cannot contain all the issues and contexts that apply to it. In this regard, I have tried to outline at least some of them and on their basis to elaborate the theme of this diploma thesis.

The introduction of this diploma thesis summarizes the production of , and it identifies the two following layers of authorship. The first layer is the fictional authorship of Jara Cimrman; the second layer is the authorship of the Cimrmanologists and their so-called (or fictional) reconstructions of Cimrman's work. The introduction further discusses the importance of the radio show , which gave birth to the character of Jara Cimrman. Finally, the introduction analyses various aspects of Cimrman and his mystifying character. The core of this thesis consists of an analysis of Cimrman and his relation to Czech Dream. It also studies the Czech dream and its development. The second chapter provides a study based on the play , which is looking at the relation between Cimrman and Czech history and the national myth. The beginning of this chapter offers an overview of the history of the . The chapter then continues with an analysis of Cimrman's play with a special attention to its unusual political dimension. The third chapter studies the connections between Cimrman, or his creators, and Czech national consciousness and Czech culture as they are reflected in Cimrman's play . The play is set in the context of Kainar's poem , Klusak and Remunda's film , Macura's essay , and Kaspar's book .
