Converter of sync codes MTC to LTC is very important device to synchronize all devices which are being used for editing and other work with audio and video. Most of digital equipment can sync to MTC but LTC timecode is recorded od audio or videotape. Therefore this converter is needed to sync all connected devices to recorded timecode. This thesis is about designing and constructing the converter between these timecodes.

The work deals with data security using BCH codes. In the work are described BCH codes in binary and non-binary form, and their most important subclass RS codes. Furthermore, this work describes the method of decoding Peterson-Gorenstein-Zierl, Berlekamp- Massey and Euclidean algorithm. For the presentation of encoding and decoding process, the application was created in Matlab, which has two parts – Learning BCH codes and Simulation of BCH codes. Using the generated application performance of BCH codes was compared at the last part of the work.

Master´s thesis analyses current methods and procedures of storing and marking of goods of Disk obchod & technika, spol. s.r.o. company. It includes the proposal of goods identification which leads to the optimizing of continuous flows from the point of view of both simplification and acceleration of work and simpler and more accurate ways of goods identification. The proposal is related to the choice of appropriate method of goods identification and the selection of particular type of barcodes, including the necessary hardware.

The diploma thesis is focused on possible customs issues during order processing in the manufacturing company. The theoretical part of this thesis contains definition of the world trade basic terms and a description of the customs clearance process. In the practical part, there is a description of the ordering procedure with attention to customs issues and rules in international trade. It includes a project draft which should provide the company with the improvement of the monitored indicators such as the quantity of delayed deliveries for distribution centers or the number of customs inspections.

Projective plane of order 10 does not exist. Proof of this assertion was finished in 1989 and is based on the nonexistence of a binary code C generated by the incidence vectors of the plane's lines. As part of the proof of the nonexistence of code C, the coefficients of its weight enumerator were studied. It was shown that coefficients A12, A15, A16 and A19 have to be equal to zero, which contradicted other findings about the relationship among the coefficients. Presented diploma thesis elaborately analyses the phases of the proof and, in several places, enhances them with new observations and simplifications. Part of the proof is generalized for projective planes of order 8m + 2. 1

The topic of my work is packaging and its influence on the effectiveness of logistic operations. The main aim of my diploma work was an analysis of portfolio of products of a packaging industry which enters distributive chains in the sphere of an elected sortiment group from the point of view of their applicability for logistic operations. I acquired information for elaborating this work from the company Schenker, Ltd., Jamall, Inc. and next from shopping chains. I compared pallets which are used by the company Schenker in logistics. In the company Jamall I dealt with a portfolio of furniture and its influence on effectiveness of logistic operations. In shopping chains I dealt with the matter of conveniency or inconviency of packaging of non-alcoholic beverages. Next I applied a properly elaborated questionnaire aimed at environment and packaging. I applied the method of observation, controlled interview, analysis of documents, processing data from the operations register file and questionnaire investigation for acquiring necessary information. I made a conclusion that a proper choice of packaging has an essential influence on lowering costs involving storage, manipulation and transport.

The introduction of this thesis describes the methods for programming CNC machines and their usage in the industry. The next section compares the CNC machine control systems, general programming principles and the current use of shop-oriented programming WOP (workshop oriented programming) machining. Then the thesis describes a TMV 510CII machine and its operation, setting, practical advices and examples of the Fanuc Guide-i control system by Fanuc company. In the final part a practical demonstration of the CNC machining program for the production of the sample parts on the above machine is given.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the copyright protection of webpages that connects law and webpages and its maintenance and administration performed by website operator. The webpage can be perceived and interpreted in two ways, i.e. as a set of individual elements or as single all-embracing and complex unit that is formed by those elements. The main goal is to analyze the legislation in both ways and to present impacts of it. The initial chapter provides essential basics of copyright law that applies to the rest of the thesis and explains the terminology that is used in following chapters. Second chapter deals with source code that is crucial information for a functioning of every webpage and that stays unknown to most of the webpage users. Third chapter aims at visual identity of a webpages, that means at appearance and design, every element that webpage user can perceive. This chapter also presents conditions under which the individual elements are eligible to be protected in accordance with Czech Copyright Act. A significant part of this chapter is devoted to fonts whose protection is not regulated under Czech law. In this diploma thesis, I conduct a research into approaches to consolidating data base and source code base of the Techno.cz webserver, which is the subject of the consolidation. By consolidation I mean bringing the server into the state where documentation is produced according to given requirements, data base is changed in order to improve data structure and consistency and source code base is reorganised in order to unify source code upon one platform, improve file system organization and remove problematic characteristics of the source code in general. The goals of this thesis are to create and describe general process of consolidation, sequence and contents of its steps; to describe contents of consolidation in given areas: documentation, data base and source code base; to describe actual steps made to achieve the final state of the server. My approach to accomplishing these goals is the study of relevant literature and usage of my practical experience in the field of web development. My contribution to the topic is the creation of the general consolidation process that has a potential to be reused by similar projects. Another contribution may be the description of handling the risks and problems that emerged during the consolidation process. This topic may find itself as a valuable source of knowledge for fellow developers facing similar issues. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. After the introduction chapter 2 follows. Chapter 2 describes parameters of the Techno.cz webserver. Chapter 3 discusses software engineering methodologies in order to create suitable consolidation process. Chapter 4, 5, 6 discuss particular fields of consolidation: documentation, data base and source code. In chapter 7 I am trying to assess suitability of created processes and approaches for usage in future development. In the conclusion I summarize the thesis according to required structure.
