Křesťanská symbolika v románu Lhář M. A. Hansena jako díle křesťanského existencialismu / Christian Symbols in M. A. Hansen's Novel The Liar as a Work of Christian Existentialism

Slouková, Radka January 2011 (has links)
The Liar is one of the Danish writer Martin A. Hansen's best known and popular novels. The Liar is influenced by existentialism, one can call it a work of Christian existentialism. In my thesis I demonstrate which main features of Christian existentialism are present in the novel. In the first part I describe existentialism as philosophy. Existentialism came from France to Denmark. It is a philosophy that focuses on the concrete individual. People must create their own existentence by accepting responsibility for their action. The important concepts are freedom, choice and responsibility. They denote the authentic existence. People in the inauthentic existence are passive, they don't act and don't accept responsibility. Existentialism takes up the question of freedom, too. But one is condemned to freedom and can't escape. That's why the world is absurd and incomprehensible. One can find most of the existentialist elements in The Liar. The protagonist Johannes Vig lives an inauthentic existence. He likes to lie to the people. He is passive, he doesn't act. In the middle of the novel he understands that he didn't live right and tries to find a better way of living. It is not easy, Johannes has lost the fight about Annemari (the girl he loves) and slept with Rigmor (the woman who loves him). But now he has...

KAVANOVÁ, Blanka. Faith and Christian Education as a Basis of the Youth's searching for Personal Identity and Life Journey. Prague, 2018. Diploma work. The first chapter of the work is focused on the theoretical bases. It outlines the situation of education as a space of meeting of freedom and autonomy of the educator and the child/teenager and shows the factors influencing the future form of the youth's identity. The following chapters demonstrate the role of parents as the primary education providers, the role of the youths themselves as the creators of their own identity and the possible obstacles that can make education more complicated. The work shows that Christian values applied in education and practised in the family life can help children in creating their own meaningful life oreintation and identity. In the process of education, freedom and increasing autonomy of the child and the youth must be taken into account,...

Filosofie naděje N. A. Berďajeva / Berdyaev's Philosophy of Hope

Múčka, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
The Christian concept of hope is often criticised for the asceticism, renouncement, and passiveness in expecting the arrival of God's kingdom in "future time". On the contrary, the eschatology of Nikolai Berdyaev in Christian philosophy speaks about the necessary transformation of the world by the human itself, determining the arrival of God's kingdom. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the concept of hope related to the world, which is currently estranged and objectified. This approach is further looked upon in the context of similarly eschatologically-orientated Ernst Bloch's Philosophy of hope, Jürgen Moltmann's Theology of hope, and Johann Baptist Metz's Political theology. The thesis aims to evaluate the extent of the transferability of Berdyaev's thinking into current debates about the Christian philosophy of hope. Keywords: Christian philosophy, Personalism, Philosophy of hope, Philosophy of history, Christian eschatology, Political theology

Myšlenková cesta filosofa - disidenta Bohumíra Janáta / Way of thinking by philosopher - dissident Bohumir Janat

Zemanová, Kristýna January 2012 (has links)
Dissertation "A thought journey of a philosopher-disident Bohumír Janát" deals with the life and work of a Christian philosopher and spokesman of Charter 77. The work is not divided into two parts, but each chapter includes both his personal and professional life as well as analysis of Janáts texts. The work begins with Janáts childhood and his studies at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague and continues with the period from graduation until the year 1989 when his texts already contain motifs he was developing for the rest of his life. Year 1988 was particularly important as at this time he was the spokesman for Charter 77. The third section is the period from 1989 to Janáts death in November 1998 when he produced most of his work. The work is especially pointing out that Bohumir Janát was always a critic of present, he ran against the spirit of the time - during and even after a totalitarian regime end in November 1989. He saw the coup as a revelation of God's power, not as a revolution. He hoped for a change in the mindset of the nation, for a turnover to the sphere of ethics and spiritual deepening. Post- revolutionary development, however, was a deep disappointment for him. His inspiring thinkers were S. Dunne, H. D. Thoreau, T. G. Masaryk and F. Nietzsche, whose philosophy...

Janovská, Kristýna January 2018 (has links)
1 Abstract The diploma thesis handles the theme of didactics of Christian ethics as a school subject with a focus on four-year grammar schools and secondary schools. The syllabus of the thesis is organized the way to give a systematic overview of the issue, therefore the first chapter is dedicated to define the basic concepts which are the gateway for understanding what the Christian ethics is and what it is pursuing. The following chapters give a comprehensive view of the subject didactics as a school subject named Christian Ethics. The fifth chapter presents the Decalogue as the basic methodological text of catechesis, which is also an explicit text for Christian ethics. Each of the commandments is demonstrated by its overlapping to the present as we can see on possible ethical topics for teaching. The final six chapter presents a model of three lessons that can be used within the lectures. The chosen topics represent the specific areas which I currently see as problematic, specifically The value orientation of a person; Respect for nature; Partnership and sexuality from the point of view of Christianity.
