Obchodní aktivity podniku v zahraničí / Foreign Business Activities of Company

Doležel, Vladimír January 2008 (has links)
This Master’s thesis has been elaborated on the basis of a real issue, which a company, which decided to procure it’s full time presence in the Austria’s market, is facing. The analysis of the present state, which proved the rationality of the decision, is followed by a theoretical fundament of this thesis, that lays the foundations of the specific proposal leading to reach the aim given by the company. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the core of the international trade and its brief history. The thesis is further focused on the areas of the international trade important for solving the given issue. The main areas are as follows: international trade legal regime, law of international trade, risks in the international trade, ways of penetration into a foreign market. Based on the knowledge attained in the theoretical part of this thesis, while applying them, I have come to the conclusion, that it would be best for the company to establish a branch office in the Austria. The conclusion is followed by a factual proposal of progress supplemented by a calculation of costs of establishing the branch office and calculation of operating costs for the first year. I am also proposing a strategy for legal relationships being concluded by a branch office and marketing strategy for the first year.

Analýza pohlavných chromozómov a repetitívne usporiadaných génov u vybraných vtáčkarovitých a araneomorfných pavúkov / Analysis of sex chromosomes and gene clusters in selected mygalomorph and araneomorph spiders

Pappová, Michaela January 2019 (has links)
1 Abstract: The diploma thesis focuses on study of sex chromosomes evolution and repetitive organized genes of chosen mygalomorph and araneomorph spiders. Spiders are characterized by complexicity of sex chromosome systems, their karyotypes contain multiple sex chromosomes X. Besides multiple X chromosomes they also contain a pair or two pairs of nondiferentiated sex chromosomes X and Y. The used methods include methods of classical cytogenetics (preparation of chromosome slides, C-banding) and methods of molecular cytogenetics (fluorescent in situ hybridization and comparative genome hybridization). Complex sex systems were discovered in the studied Theraphosidae spiders. In Theraphosidae spiders Atropothele socotrana and Poecilotheria vittata neo-sex chromosomes were found. Analysis of molecular differentiation of sex chromosomes suggests low differentiation of Y chromosome in neo-sex chromosomes and pair of nondifferentiated sex chromosomes XY. In haplogyne spider Kukulcania aff. hibernalis (X1X2Y), the Y chromosome was significantly differentiated, male specific signal covered the whole chromosome. Detection of 18S rDNA showed that karyotypes of majority of analysed Theraphosidae spiders and haplogyne spiders contain low number (1 or 2) of nucleolar organizing regions localized terminally, which...

Mimoevropské kultury v zrcadle vybraných operních libret 18. století. Pokus o typologii / Non - European Cultures in the Mirror of Selected Eighteenth Century Opera Libretti. An Attempt to Typology

Pšenička, Jan January 2016 (has links)
English abstract The master's thesis deals with different representations of non-European cultures and their inhabitants in musical dramas (operas and related genres) of the eighteenth century. Firstly it gives some typical characteristics of these musical artworks in historical context (focusing on Italian and French examples especially) than it concentrates on the topic of so-called exoticism in general. The final part of the thesis which is based on three case studies formulates some typical approaches to the problem of representation of non- european cultures by analyzing musical settings, stage representations and especially librettoes of three important operatic works by Vivaldi (Motezuma), Graun (Montezuma) and Rameau (Les Indes Galantes). The topic of exoticism in Handel 's selected operas is mentioned in a short survey. Keywords: 18th century, music history, opera history, Italian opera, French opera, exoticism, inrercultural relationships, comparative studies

Evropská unie jako State-Building Power / European Union as a State-Building Power

Zdrálek, Jan January 2018 (has links)
This thesis concentrates on the role of the European Union as a state-building power. It scrutinizes EU foreign policy in terms of state-building phenomena in three selected areas: Western Balkans, Eastern Partnership, and Southern Neighbourhood. First, it presents the EU as an increasingly powerful international actor and a normative power. Then, it overviews the existing literature on state-building with a special focus on Francis Fukuyama's neoliberal approach and David Chandler's critical remarks. The thesis is methodologically grounded in the Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA), specifically the four-value fuzzy set QCA, which enables to bridge the quantitative and qualitative approaches. The analysis operates with 23 cases (countries) and five variables in order to assess the EU state-building practices in relation to the targeted states' resilience. Drawing on the moderate generalizations from QCA results, the thesis concludes that the EU is, indeed, a state-building power which strengthens the resilience of states through its state-building practices.

Funkčně genomická a farmakogenomická analýza aspektů metabolického syndromu / Functional genomic and pharmacogenomic analysis of metabolic syndrome aspects

Krupková, Michaela January 2014 (has links)
Metabolic syndrome is a prevalent disease characterized by concurrent manifestation of insulin resistance, obesity, dyslipidemia, hypertension and other hemodynamic and metabolic disorders. It has multifactorial type of inheritance and its resultant phenotype is determined by both environmental and genetic factors as well as their interactions. That is the main reason why comprehensive analysis of the genetic component of this syndrome is complicated in human population. Genetically designed experimental animal models are significant tools for analysis of genetic architecture of human complex conditions including the metabolic syndrome. The aim of this Thesis is utilization of functional and comparative genomic tools to uncover pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome aspects and their genetic determinants. We also studied pharmacogenetic interactions of these genetic determinants with drugs affecting particular components of the metabolic syndrome. Establishing and utilizing several genetically designed congenic rat strains, we undertook four different research projects focusing on pharmacogenetic interaction of all-trans retinoic acid and ondansetron with differential segment of rat chromosome 8, pharmacogenetic interaction of differential segment of rat chromosome 4 and dexamethasone, determining Plzf...

Bc. Karel Höfer Komparativní volební inženýrství v postjugoslávském prostoru KP IPS FSV UK Diplomová práce ABSTRACT The thesis deals with the topic of electoral engineering and electoral design in the Post- Yugoslav area. It can be classified within social sciences as a part of political science, specifically as a part of comparative political science and electoral studies. The subject of this thesis is electoral design and electoral engineering. Its cases are political and electoral systems in the Post-Yugoslav area up to 2012. The importance of this topic consists in the fact that it is not entirely explored topic. On that account it deserves attention from both empirical and theoretical perspective. The research of electoral design and electoral engineering is one of the most promising courses of contemporary political science. The Post-Yugoslav area offers an ideal environment for comparative political science in general and comparative approach due to its common historical and institutional grounds, but different political and institutional development after the disintegration. The primary objective of this work is the comparison of electoral design and electoral engineering in the Post-Yugoslav area. An important component of this work is also original and comprehensive theoretical framework for a...

Umělecké spolky střední Evropy v kontextu společenské modernizace 19. století / Supporting the Arts...Art Societies of Central Europe in the Context of the 19 th Century's Social Modernization

Kavka, Tomáš January 2013 (has links)
- Tomáš Kavka Supporting the Arts... Art Societies of Central Europe in the Context of the 19th Century's Social Modernization This dissertation focuses on the changing relations between society and art in the course of the 19th century. It observes the development within three cities - Leipzig, Prague and Brno - exponents of three different national environments. The thesis is based on the comparison of art societies representing these environments. Leipzig-based society Leipziger Kunstverein is a probe into the world of German art, Umělecká beseda of Prague demonstrates the quest for continuous development of Czech national artistic discourse and Brno's Mährischer Kunstverein is an example of the specifics of German community ringed by Slavic majority in Moravia. The thesis presents a view of Central-European artistic life, heavily determined by the dynamics of the 19th century's social modernization - the formation of civic society and national movements as well as the change of social discourse (namely concerning aesthetics and art history) about fine arts and its performers.
