This diploma thesis deals with the Czech community in France in both the past and present. In general, it focuses on the community organizing of Czech compatriots. The aim of the thesis is to gain a fundamental overview of this topic, to find interesting relations, and to point out the importance of compatriot associations for Czechs living in France. The thesis is based on the search in literary and internet sources, the knowledge gained via questionnaires, other conversation and the author's personal experiences during her stay in Nantes. The first part of the thesis provides basic information about the history of Czech emigration to France, the development of compatriot associations, and the start of Czech schools and Czech high-school sections in France. The second part of the thesis introduces the overview of current associations and other institutions related to Czechs and Czech culture in France. It deals, in more detail, with the activity of chosen Franco-Czech associations working in various French regions. These organizations are available for Czech compatriots to join actively. This dissertation thesis is concerned with city of Brno in connection with high concentration of local universities' students in proportion to city inhabitants and optional propositions of city development solutions. There is brief description and characteristics of the main objectives in introductory part and methods to accomplish it. Ensuing the description of key words based on specialized literature of Czech and international authors, which is connected with the issue and chapter where is described the development of universities in Brno. The main part of thesis is the research targeted on transportation and accommodation of students in Brno and financial demands of study at university in the city. Except that there were studied services which university student usually use and amount of money which they are spending here.

The thesis deals with the role of a tutor in the Therapeutic community Karlov within a group of drug addicted mothers and their children. The thesis introduces the drug issue, including the general specification of a therapeutic community. The status of the non-profit organization SANANIM in the Czech Republic is described herein, as well as detailed characterization of its Therapeutic community Karlov which focuses on treating drug-addicted mothers along with their children. Another part of this thesis concentrates on the treatment of drug-addicted mothers along with their children and highlights the role of the tutor in the whole process. The last part of this work is dedicated to a qualitative research conducted within a group of abstaining mothers that received a treatment in this Therapeutic community. Over the course of this research a hypothesis that a tutor has positive influence on the relation of mother and her child/children during the treatment phase was confirmed.

The thesis looks in detail into the process of social services community planning in the Milevsko region. It shows that there are very good conditions for further development of community planning, however - as the thesis points out - social services are qualitatively not sufficient, and they are not distributed equally in the whole region. The thesis suggests several steps towards the improvement of social services community planning in the Milevsko region.

Social services help people live in a common way of life. Necessity of social services results especially from the need of solving unfavorable situations in one{\crq}s life.Senior citizens are one of the largest recipient groups of social services nowadays. The target of my diploma work was to find out the topical situation of social services for senior citizens in the town of Decin and utilization of these services by senior citizens.

The question of what leads clients to onset of the WHITE LIGHT I therapeutic community was the main reason for this research. It may seem that the main motive is the drug addiction of clients, but I rather wonder what the last drop is, that they come to make a decision to do something about themselves. In my experience, it is the consequences of drug use rather than addiction itself. I wanted to examine those reasons. The aim of the research is to find out and explain the reasons for clients entering the Therapeutic community WHITE LIGHT I. The thesis is based on qualitative research. The methods used to obtain data are clients' biographies, questions on admission, records of the therapeutic groups and semistructured interview. I conducted the research on eight WHITE LIGHT I community clients who agreed to participate in the research. For data processing, I used the thematic analysis as a method, which is the most appropriate for a given need. The research revealed eight reasons for getting treatment. It is a loss of housing, a desire for a normal life without drugs, loss of employment, problems with the law, family pressure, health problems, client in the position of victim (crime, violence, etc.) and loss of life expectancy. ABCTRACT BACKGROUND: Currently, the diagnosis of ADHD is highly debated. Symptoms pass from childhood to adulthood. It turns out that people who according to the questionnaire YFAS meet the diagnostic criteria for dependence on food, show more comorbidity of other disorders such as binge eating, depressive, or ADHD. OBJECTIVE: The research problem and the aim of the diploma thesis is to find out what effect the regular diet regimen has on the diagnosis of food dependence in clients who are being treated in residential treatment in the treatment community of NL dependence. Assess whether a food addiction is more likely to suffer from ADHD symptoms and symptoms of psychopathology according to the SCL - 90 questionnaire. METHODS: The thesis is based on data from the GAČR ADHD project. The research was conducted in 5 therapeutic communities in the Czech Republic. The YFAS, DIVA and SCL- 90 questionnaires were used for the research. Test cells were collected in 4 waves of data collection, but only the first and second wave of data collection are used in this work because we are interested in data about clients on arrival and during the stay. This diploma thesis deals with problems in the field of eToro social trading community. The aim is to analyze and outline solutions to specific problems. To solve selected problems, it is used Soft Systems Methodology by Peter Checkland. In the first part, important concepts are theoretically defined as well as a virtual social trading community is defined as a soft system for the purpose of the thesis. The second part describes the Soft Systems Methodology. In the third practical part, two problems of the eToro community are analyzed. The problems were selected by community members with a questionnaire. For each of these problems is performed single iteration of methodology cycle. The final part evaluates the use of methodology in the field of social trading communities in general and describes the advantages and problems of its application.

Rozvoj komunity je často diskutovaným témou na mezinárodním poli. Komunity jsou nedínou součástí občanské společnosti a za posledních dvě stě let došlo ke změně v chápání jejich významu. Jsou založeny na principu participace, což je i jejich hlavním znakem. Jeden z možných způsobu jejich rozvoje je prostřednictvím komunitních rozvojových projektů. Úloha komunit je v každé části projektového cyklu odlišná. Nejdůležitější roli hrají ve fázi identifikace, realizace a evaluace.V případě, že komunita na projektu participuje, je mnohem vyšší šance na jeho udržení, což přispěje a možná zajistí trvale udržitelný rozvoj komunity. Namibie se leží na jihu sub-Saharské Afriky. Má za sebou bouřlivou historii a v současnosti řeší mnoho problému, např. pozemkovou reformu, šíření HIV/AIDS a s tím spojený rozpad rodin, nárůst počtu sirotků a zničení komunit. Řešením problemů spojených s HIV/AIDS jsou komunitní rozvojové projekty, které jsou součástí zahraniční rozvojové spolupráce.
