Čeští migranti v Polsku z pohledu transnacionalismu / Czech migrants in Poland from the perception of transnationalism

Roztočilová, Zuzana January 2021 (has links)
The work deals with the current Czech emigration to Poland. It examines how its representatives perceive their integration into Polish society and at the same time maintain transnational social ties in the Czech Republic. The author is based on the theory of transnational migration. Within this the- ory, migrants maintain ties with both the new country and the country of origin. This creates a transnational social network that connects the space of two states. At the same time as this process, however, an integration process is underway. Migrants thus integrate into the host society without breaking ties with their homeland. The imaginary space in which migrants find themselves is called the transnational social field in which migrants' identities are formed. These migrants are referred to as transmigrants. In the theoretical part of the work, the author introduces the theoretical basis of re- search on transnational migration and transnational identity. He also deals with general migration to Poland and Czech minorities in Poland. In the second part, he explains the research methodology, focusing mainly on the (auto) biographical approach, data collection techniques and their analysis. The author conducted a total of 11 in-depth interviews, which she analyzed by coding. It summa- rizes the results...

Vliv encykliky Laudato si' na život a pastoraci Komunity Chemin Neuf / The Impact of Laudato's Encyclical letter on the Life and Pastoral Care of the Chemin Neuf Community

Ješutová, Blanka January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis examines the influence of the Laudato si' encyclical on the life and pastoral care of the Chemin Neuf Community. The thesis consists of three chapters. In the initial part of the content, the encyclical is studied as for its structure, fundamental topics and principles (three of them are further analysed in Chapter 3). In the second chapter, the Chemin Neuf Community is introduced. This part of the thesis deals not only with the historical context of the Community formation, but also with its spirituality, vocation and emphasis on ministration. The author also offers a diachronic view on the Community's response to different social and environmental topics communicated in Laudato si' both before and after the encyclical was published. Chapter 3 gives an analysis of certain selected principles contained in the encyclical with special impact on the life and pastoral care of the Chemin Neuf Community. Specifically, it describes the influence of these principles on the Community's work for Christian unity, parish ministration and formation of novices.

Bydlení pro bráchu / Housing for bro

Kropšová, Zuzana January 2020 (has links)
I have a brother with a mental disability. The moment when he will move away from his mom‘s house is slowly approaching. The question is: Where will he move? What will he do during the days? Where will he be able to work? Will he be able to live like most of us? Will he be useful and beneficial for society? Will people perceive him as someone who needs help or as someone who has something to offer? Architecture gives space to people. Space that forms them. Space has the power to unite people. It can tear down barriers which have been build during the years. Space can open up new possibilities. That is why I am convinced that I can find answers to my questions through architecture. In my work, I want to map the life of an adult with a mental disability and find a way how to integrate him into the mainstream society fully. I want to find a way how to make partners from clients. Since I have lived with a person with a mental disability for 15 years of my life, I will rely primarily on my personal experience. I tailored the work to my brother, but, at the same time, I want it to have a general outreach. I will draw inspiration from literature, legislation, and personal meetings.

Život na samotě / Life in the isolation

Jankovichová, Ludmila January 2020 (has links)
The answer to what Zaježová is, can be simple. Zaježová are so called „lazy“. Zaježová is perceived by the outside world - society - primarily as an alternative community of people living in coexistence with nature, and “Zaježová” presents itself “in this way”. Personally, I think that Zaježová is defined mainly by the strong individualities of people who are able to say about themselves and present that they live in a community. Last but not least, Zaježová is a place where I spent a large part of my childhood, because my parents belonged to these strong individuals and decided to live life “alone”. My work tries to capture what Zaježová is through various media, including architecture. The output is a set of atypical tourist maps and a proposal to transform the former fire station into a gallery.

Stárneme doma - stárneme v obci. / Getting old at home - getting old in a town.

Dušková, Eva January 2016 (has links)
This thesis discusses dignity of aging and elderly citizens and the ways in which it is supported within a village community. Dignity is seen as the most important and universal human need, and not only for elderly people. Its significance and protection is anchored in international and national legal documents which are also binding at lower levels of state administration including the community and municipality level. Municipalities are public institutions obliged to create social policies. Citizens need to be involved and to participate in constructing these policies that touch upon the needs of specific groups of them, including that of the elderly. Using several methods, the analytical part describes the situation in a particular village community. The method of social-demographic analysis is based on statistical data and literature. Participant observation and close study of documents provide additional information to the analysis of secondary data. The results show up-to-date age structure and the present state of coexistence of different people in the community. Judging from ways of participation in political life of the community we can infer that close relationships among citizens are the driving force of the development of the area as far as meeting the needs of the elderly are...
