Krajčovič, Linda January 2012 (has links)
The objective of the thesis is to verify the method of community based approach to strategic regional planning as an instrument of local development. The emphasis is put on the public participation and the consequences that result from this approach. The methodology of the thesis is based on the critical analysis of particular steps during the preparation of one particular plan - Strategic regional plan of Vodňany. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threads of community based strategic regional planning are formulated. The main hypothesis is confirmed - the community based approach to strategic planning is the proper method for designing a strategic plan in a small town, on the assumption that the political representation has a positive approach to the concept and the public is also involved and interested in the process. It is also confirmed that the strategic regional plan designed using the community based approach has greater chance to be implemented than the strategic plan designed using the expert method. Last but not least it is validated that while working out the participation project some new relations and connections are formed bewteen the participants which might cause establishing the social network that strenghten a formation of a social capital in the locality. Tlumočení po telefonu / Telephone interpreting

Perníková, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
While telephone interpreting is very well established on the foreign market, in the Czech Republic it is still quite unknown and not very much used. Foreign companies that provide telephone interpreting have sophisticated systems to chose, train and assess interpreters and to connect them promptly with clients. This type of interpreting is being employed in various areas of human activity - in healthcare, in communication with service providers, such as banks, at courts, during police interrogations, in the private sector, where business partners need to communicate with each other, etc. Telephone interpreting is still seeking its position on the Czech market - the service is offered and provided by agencies, clients, however, are not interested. In its first part, the present thesis explores the theory and present-day situation of telephone interpreting. Telephone interpreting is defined in the contexts of remote, dialogue and community interpreting; the foreign market is described, as well as the areas where over the phone interpreting is mainly employed. The conducted research focuses on the USA, where the telephone interpreting market is developed the most. The empirical part of the thesis draws on a survey carried out among translation agencies, hospitals, nongovernmental organizations and...

PICKOVÁ, Romana January 2017 (has links)
The point of my thesis is to describe the process of transformation social services of an Day and Week Care Center Jihlava. The data for practical part this work I has been gathering since spring 2013 till the day I finish my work. As respondents was selected from 28 users of Week care center. That is the maximum limit of this local service. In the theoretical part of my thesis I focuse on process of the deinstitutionalization and transformation defining social services (Week care-center and Safe Housing) and try to depict past and present situation specificaly in Czech republic and European Union. In the practical part of my thesis I describe process of transformation of social services Week care center provided by Day and Week Care Center in Jihlava. The basic method used in my research is structured interview recorded in questionnaire form called "Judging measure of a Service for Safe Housing". At last but not at least I analyze documents directly linked to process of transformation of selected service. The research of my thesis answered both quetions. First of all is "Are the users of a Day and Week Care Center prepared to procceed to comunity service of Safe Housing ?" and is solved by evaluation of necessary measure of support for users. The answer on researching question is that 4 users from 28 are able to procceed to comunity service of Safe Housing. For the answer on the second question "Is it possible to create comunity service in Jihlava in next 5 years ?" I try to find an answer throughout whole process of transformation project. I come up with a conclusion to answer that creation of comunity services is possible. Results of my thesis can be used for selected organization as the summary of selected process of transformation. Also results can be used as the source of information even for more social services providers and for public they are interested in.

Úloha dětské sestry ve školním stravování / THE ROLE OF CHILDREN´S NURSE IN SCHOOL CATERING

MÁGROVÁ, Milena January 2014 (has links)
Approaches to nourishment and eating habits are formed from early childhood under the influence of family lifestyle, gradually together with the influence of school and society where a child grows. Healthy lifestyle should systematically address all children during the whole school attendance, adequately to their age and needs. Comprehensive link between theoretical and practical influencing of pupils in subjects Human and Health and Education to Health with the possibility of link to school canteen. Then we will be on the good way to cooperation of all the involved parents, healthcare staff, teachers and school canteens leading to the common goal, which is GOOD HEALTH. The aim of the thesis was to assess the role of a children nurse in school environment, namely in school catering. The research tried to analyse catering standards for pupils of primary schools and to find the experience and satisfaction with school catering among parents and to map approaches of children of lower and higher level of primary school to school canteen meals. Quantitative and qualitative research was applied to the thesis. Data collection was performed by means of questionnaires for parents and children from the 3rd to 9th grades and focus group among children of the 1st and 2nd grades of primary school in Jindřichův Hradec. The questionnaires were processed and statistically evaluated by SPSS programme. We applied Parkinson's chi-squared test, a paired sample t-test for graph and table outputs. The focus group was performed in classrooms and in the canteen during break and during lunch at presence of a teacher and the vice headmistress. The research sample consisted of parents of children attending primary school in Jindřichův Hradec and pupils of the 1st to 9th classes of the same school. School catering, which is a frequent topic among professionals as well as the wide public in the whole Czech Republic and the results of our research are obviously an exception. Analysis of catering standards has shown that parents can only partially participate in preparation of menus, as they partially participate in financing of school lunches. From observation of 1st and 2nd class children we have found that children of this age are affected by the social environment they are in during the day. We have found that nearly all the children are satisfied with their meals. Pupils of 3rd to 9th classes formed another group. They commented and assessed canteen meals, where our sample differed from the other researches within the whole Republic. Satisfaction with canteen meals did not substantially differ with age as we expected. The research into satisfaction with school meals among parents has shown that parents of elementary school children are more satisfied that those of the higher level children, so the satisfaction among parents differs between the lower and higher primary levels. The research points out the connection of educational and healthcare systems, that there would be a place for a children nurse in this community, who operated in the school healthcare service before privatization of primary healthcare and still successfully operates there in many countries. It is necessary for community nurses to implement, lead and coordinate the care and for their care to be perceived as legitimate and essential in all spheres. The research results were requested by the vice headmistress of the school in Jindřichův Hradec in advance for possible correction of school catering and they might be also presented at seminars or conferences focused on nutrition and healthy lifestyle of children.

Role komunitní sestry v péči o novorozence, kojence a matky

SCHÖNBAUEROVÁ, Andrea January 2018 (has links)
The main purpose of the research was to explore the role of the community nurse in the care of newborns, infants and their mother and how this kind of care could be included in the current system of preventive care for newborns and infants in the Czech Republic. The research was developed by qualitative and quantitative design. In the first stage of the research, interviews with nurses from the PLDD outpatient department and mothers of infants in the South Bohemian and Pilsen Regions were conducted. Non-standardized questionnaires for nurses and mothers were created from the obtained data. The statistical processing was carried out with MS Excel, where absolute and relative frequencies were calculated and the relationships among the variables at the significance level ? = 0.05 were tested by the use of the chi-squared test and the Pearson correlation coefficient was used. For the needs of the qualitative survey, a research group of six mothers of infants and seven nurses from the PLDD outpatient departments in the South Bohemian and Pilsen Regions was chosen by deliberate selection. For the quantitative survey, a research group of 254 mothers of babies aged 12-24 months was chosen by deliberate selection. The research group of nurses was chosen by deliberate selection and consisted of 196 nurses working in PLDD outpatient departments for more than one year. Multiparas have provably more information at leaving the maternity hospital about breastfeeding techniques, breast milk pumping, nappy changing, hygienic care and bathing, dressing, sleeping, umbilical cord care, and safe handling of the baby. Information about the prevention of sudden infant deaths or the storage of breast milk is at the same level for primiparas as for multiparas. It was found out that there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of awareness and the occurrence of problems in the first year of the child's life. The personal experience of nurses with the visiting service has an influence on whether they attach importance to this service. The current model of preventive care of newborns and babies needs to be critically analysed and appropriately complemented by interventions of the visiting service.

Zdravé město / Healthy Cities Project

HLUŠKOVÁ, Marie January 2007 (has links)
Human life and maintainable advancement are still more combined and discusseable. Thus in this days much more attention is beeing concerntrated at the project titled as Healthy town.Under this title one can imagine a lot of its meanings.Someone might take it as injuries, others as clean parks, whereby the kids could play without any concern. As you notice, everyone under the title Healthy town is taking it differently, but altogerther it gives the same meaning as Healthy town. I have choosen this theme for its actuallity. This project Healthy town is completely dealing with the problems of the inhabitants, but does not forget for theire responsibilities and allows an active dialog amongst them and its leadership of the town.We should not forget, that healthy towns have got well worked out methods of public administration, which is well valued by the EU.This fact helps in requirements for grants from EU which is a privilege for healthy towns, which is the reality of today. In the theoritical part of the corrent state I have hilghlited the basic information of the WHO and its communual project Healthy town, which I have aquired through out my studies from special literatures, internet references, magayines, which I have listed in the used sources. In the practical part of the research I have added the information of the findings, which I have aquired wiith the help of my own findings.Initially I have conducted the secondary data analysis, which I have obtained from the database of the national net of healthy towns in CZ, Association of healthy towns in SR,of the Czech statistical office and Slovakian statistical office. Since the project Healthy town is part of the communal project is partially formed induvidually. As a result of this I have refered in the practical part of this work two case studyies of healthy towns, which serves as an exemplary of this project.

Důsledky stárnutí populace na vývoj potřeb v oblasti zdravotní a sociální péče. / Consequences of population ageing on the development of its social and health needs.

PRYLOVÁ, Pavla January 2009 (has links)
The main factors which influence these social and health facilities during the planning of social and health services are a demographic prognosis, the social structure of its inhabitants, the informal support and solidarity within the family, and also the geographic profile of the region, urbanization, human settlement and the extent of municipality. The planning of social and health services has to follow modern principles in social services which are widely used in Western Europe. The goal of this thesis is to undertake research in the capacity and quality of health and social services and the use of these services by seniors in the region. The next goal is to see if modern European principles are applied in the social and health services in the region. This research was carried out though the analysis of documents and methods of questioning. This research has shown that there is a lack of institutional social and health services in the region. Also modern European principles have not been applied in the social and health services.

Možnost nabídky ošetřovatelské péče pro nevyléčitelně nemocné / Option of nursing care for incurables

JANEČKOVÁ, Zuzana January 2010 (has links)
The paper subject covers Nurse Care Options for Incurables. A theoretical paper of the Diploma Thesis is something like a comprehensive summary of potential nurse care options for incurable people. Based on data gathered herein, I tried to create a schematic layout making the above options clearer. It forms the Annex No.1 to the paper. A practical part is prepared as a quality {--} quantity survey. I concentrated on the Czech Republic legislative and statistic data related to the subject as well as the informedness level of patients/clients and general nurse of nurse care options for incurable people. One of hypotheses related to the issue determined by me ( ``The nurse care options for incurable people in the Czech Republic meet their needs{\crq}q) was confirmed; other two options ( ``All nurse care options provided to incurable people are available to them{\crq}q and ``Incurable people are informed of the nurse care options available to them in the frame of their illness{\crq}q) were disproved. I determined three essential objectives in my paper: 1. Identify nurse care options for incurable people in the Czech Republic; 2. Determine the availability of the nurse care for incurable people in the Czech Republic; and 3. Find the informedness level of incurable people regarding potential use of nurse care suitable for them, that I met. My theoretical part defines nurse care options for incurable people in the Czech Republic; my quality and quantity survey resulted into a conclusion that the nurse care availability for incurable people in the Czech republic doesn not meet their needs, and the informedness level of incurable people of suitable nurse care availability to them is insufficient. The Diploma Thesis findings result into following recommendations: To continue in development of the palliative care and start to perceive it not only as care for oncology terminal ill people; aim to improvement in the informedness of incurable people of the nurse care options available to them (currently a social nurse, general nurse, as well also voluntary workes, in the future a case manager nurse {--} advisor), and promote development of community nursery in the Czech Republic.
