Theoretical part of the work includes knowledge about competitiveness and strengthening of the competitiveness. In practical part are knowledge used in a practice. The main part of the work is analysis of the travel agency and microeconomics and macroeconomics environment, which influences the company. These analysis are made because of raise proposal for strengthening competitiveness of the travel agency.

The diploma thesis focuses on the practical use of competitive intelligence, a method increasingly used to support decision making nowadays. The essential key principle is based on collection of precise data and their thourough analysis. The obtained information gives a comprehensive overview of the competitor analysis. The acquired knowledge of the competition is important for company's strategic decision-making processes. At the beginning the thesis gives a theoretical background on different means of data collecting including the ethic kodex. Folowing is the identification of the modern sources of information. Further, various methods and approaches of competitive intelligence are described. And the theoretical background on competitive strategies and their impact on the market wraps up the theoretical part of the thesis. The method is applied to create departmet of competitive inteligence for the company. Then the various options for further go to market activities are described and the scope of cooperation with selected customers is evaluted. The thesis describes the competitive intelligence advantages and the possible ways of aplications for the competitive strategy. At the end, the recommendations for the management of the company are summed up.

The aim of my thesis is to explain the meaning of the expression "non- competition clause" and to analyse its legal regulation in Czech labour law. The reason why I chose this topic is that non-competition clause is a very dynamic subject with a lot of changes in a historical point of view as you can see above. First of all, non-competition clause is an instrument of labour law which protects an employer against the abuse of the company's confidential information, knowledge and other know-how by the employee. According to the Czech legislation, non- competition clause means a voluntary agreement between employer and employee whose purpose is to protect employer's interests by reducing employee's job opportunities which would have a competitive character to the employer after the determination of an employment with the employee. There are several conditions need to be achieved in order to conclude a valid non- competition clause. For example, this contract needs to be agreed in writing. Secondly, the non-competition clause may be valid for only a certain period of time, not exceeding one year. Moreover, an employer is obliged to pay the employee some kind of a financial compensation every month. Competitive clause in labour law The purpose of the thesis is an analysis of competitive clause (non-competition clause) in the Czech labour law. The thesis also contains a comparison of attributes competitive clause with the legislation in other European countries. The author of the thesis recommends changes to be made in Czech legislation. The thesis is composed of three chapters, which are Definition of basic terms, History and evolution of competitive clause and Current legislation of non-competition clause in the Czech Labour Code. Each chapter is divided into subchapters according to the relevant issues. Chapter One consists of six parts. The first four parts deal with the explanation of basic terms used in the thesis. These are labour law, employment law relationship, employee and employer and the concept of competition. In the fifth section is briefly introduced competition legislation in commercial law. The thesis deals with strategic management of selected company. Its goal is to design a strategy based on outputs of designed analysis. The thesis consist of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the theme of the thesis. Specifically, the concepts of strategy and strategic management, hierarchy of management and hierarchy of strategies in the company, strategic thinking, competitive advantage and process of creating a business strategy. The findings from this chapter are used in the practical part. In the practical part there is characterized the selected company, after that there are made analyses of internal and external environment, and based on their outputs a SWOT analysis. Furthermore, there are also analyzed stakeholders. At the conclusion of the thesis, the findings obtained from the partial analyzes are used to design two versions of business strategy. One of them is chosen after assessing the better one.

This diploma thesis was based on the main theme of Competitive advantage. The theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with concepts of competition, competitiveness and competitive advantage. Next part is based on analysis of outside surroundings where are specified the main methods of analysing company surroundings. The names of the methods are PEST analysis, SWOT analysis and Porter five forces. In the last part of theoretical thesis are explained types of innovation and innovation process. The conceptual part of the diploma thesis is related to company Snag s.r.o. and its evolution in two periods. The aim of these analysis where to name the main elements with the biggest impact. In the end of the first period was made a decision about new company strategy. According to the new company strategy there was effected innovation process that created new product for selling. This innovation has had crucial market to the competitive position of the company. The implementation of the new strategy has started new periond of growing the company.
