The thesis is aimed at the evaluation of preparedness of the Czech Republic for acceptance of the common currency. Preparedness according to the convergence criteria and the state of the real convergency is evaluated in the thesis. Within the convergence criteria a state of the public finance is discussed in detail and the necessity for undertaking reforms. The real convergency is rated in the thesis according to the value of the GDP per capita, flexibility of the labour market, competitiveness and openness of the economy. In the end the recent progress in the EU is discussed, mainly in the Euro-zone. An outlook of the impact of the current events on the future of the EU is proposed.

The thesis aims to examine the 'Komentář za minutu' format, published by the online offshoot of 'Hospodářské noviny' daily from November 2014 to January 2017. The theoretical part brings forward the Economia publishing house in context of corporate convergence, as well as attributes of comment genres, online videos, and particularities of audio-visual instruments. The practical part qualitatively analyses data acquired by interviews with journalists of 'Hospodářské noviny' daily who featured in Komentář za minutu. All interviews are included.

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rozvoje širokopásmového připojení (broadbandu) k Internetu v České republice. Snaží se odpovědět na otázky nízké penetrace domácností Internetem u nás a překážek jejího rozvoje. Práce ve své úvodní části obsahuje analýzu v Česku nejrozšířenějších dostupných možností připojení k Internetu a jednotlivých nabízených služeb včetně formulace nutných podmínek na trhu pro rozvoj broadbandu v ČR. Na tuto analýzu navazuje kapitola trendů v oblasti broadbandu, tedy pohled na plány významných subjektů v Česku i ve světě, na současnou do jisté míry latentní poptávku po službách využívajících broadband infrastrukturu a projektované zákaznické potřeby. Z této analýzy vyplývají důležité závěry, které jsou následně využity pro formulaci doporučení v podobě klíčových faktorů úspěchu firem působících na broadband trhu. Další text práce se rovněž zabývá současným stavem GTS Novera a dívá se i na její veřejně dostupné plány dalšího rozvoje. Načerpané teoretické znalosti jsou následně použity ke zpracování samotného přínosu práce, jímž je case studie zasíťování modelového pražského sídliště broadband infrastrukturou a navržení reálného technicko-ekonomicko-obchodního modelu pro společnost GTS Novera k realizaci byznys plánu v těchto konkrétních podmínkách. Následně jsou tyto výsledky zasazeny do rámce studie návratnosti investice s návrhem nových služeb pro další rozvoj společnosti GTS Novera.

Tématem diplomové práce je analýza měnové politiky slovenské centrální banky - Národní banky Slovenska od jejího vzniku až po současnost a hodnocení aktuální progrese Slovenska v procesu přípravy na přijetí společné evropské měny. Práci lze členit na dvě základní části. První část pojednává o instituci Národní banky Slovenska, jejího založení a vývinu postavení v rámci mladé transformující se země. Zvláštní pozornost je kladena na hodnocení úspěšnosti prováděné měnové politiky za daných hospodářských podmínek a také komparaci charakteru měnové politiky slovenské centrální banky před a po měnové krizi na Slovensku. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na současnou realitu v slovenské ekonomice, analyzuje a hodnotí připravenost země na přijetí eura.

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zapojení České republiky do systému ERM II. Teoretická část práce stručně popisuje proces evropské integrace, a to nejen v obecné rovině, ale hlavně v rovině hospodářské a měnové. Tato část se věnuje také zapojení ČR do evropských struktur, představení mechanismu ERM II a dále vymezuje některé důležité pojmy z této oblasti. Praktická část práce je věnována podrobné analýze plnění jednotlivých maastrichtských konvergenčních kritérií Českou republikou, kde u kritéria stability měnového kurzu je také velmi komplexně popsán stav ČR v souvislosti se zapojením do systému ERM II. Analýza jednotlivých kritérií je poté stručně shrnuta.

Česká republika se společně s dalšími devíti evropskými státy automaticky účastní třetí fáze hospodářské a měnové unie, což znamená, že souhlasí s přijetím jednotné evropské měny. Mezi názory, proč nepospíchat s přijetím eura, patří otázky reálné a nominální konvergence. V této diplomové práci sleduji vztah mezi reálnou a nominální konvergencí pomocí Balassa-Samuelsonového efektu. Cílem práce je odpovědět na otázku, zda po přijetí jednotné evropské měny ?hrozí? v České republice vyšší míra inflace. V teoretické části se věnuji problematice Balassa-Samuelsonového efektu a jeho vlivu na plnění maastrichtského kritéria cenové stability. Jedna z kapitol je věnována příkladu konvergence Portugalska, které již jednotnou evropskou měnu v hotovostní podobě přijalo v roce 2002 a je jak rozlohou, počtem obyvatel tak i ekonomickými charakteristikami podobné České republice. V empirické části se pokusím pomocí analýzy časových řad odhadnout budoucí hodnoty CPI u jednotlivých skupin spotřebního koše podle dosavadního vývoje CPI.

The key concept is the so called Probability Limit Identification Function (PLIF). The main concern is focused on the existence of PLIFs, mainly those, which are measurable and adapted. We also study in more detail special cases, when the convergence in probability and the convergence almost surely coincide. Furthermore, possible applications of the PLIF concept in stochastic analysis (path-wise representations of stochastic integrals and weak solutions of the stochastic differential equations), as well as in estimation theory (the existence of strongly consistent estimators) are outlined. The achieved results are based on analyses of the topologies on spaces of measures, spaces of random variables and spaces of real-valued functions. This diploma thesis analyses the degree of nominal convergence in the market for new passenger cars in selected classes. The selected classes are a class of small, medium and large cars. Analysed areas are the European Union, the euro area and the 15 traditional members of EU. The evaluation period of convergence is 2007-2011. There are identified countries with the lowest and highest price levels. Part of the work is devoted to recommendations for the final consumer when buying a new car in another EU country.

This diploma thesis examines the endogeneity hypothesis of the optimum currency area theory. Cyclical components of gross domestic product and index of industrial production are identified by three selected techniques. The convergence of the surveyed countries is assessed by correlation and cluster analysis. Correlation coefficients between the euro area and the 26 countries are used as dependent variables. Independent variables represent the optimum currency area criteria. Influence of the optimum currency area criteria upon the correlation of business cycles is verified in the 66 simple and 11 multivariate regressions. According to the empirical results, convergence of business cycles is endogenous, endogeneity hypothesis is not rejected.

Regional consequences of Economic and Financial crisis in Greece, Brno, 2016. 118 p. Diploma thesis. Mendel university in Brno. The diploma thesis focuses on impacts of the financial and economic crisis on thirteen NUTS 2 regions of Greece. The objective of the diploma thesis is to investigate whether the crisis affected the process of convergence or divergence among Greek regions. For this purpose, Cluster analyses and Beta-convergence analyses are applied and run in two time-periods, examining process of convergence and divergence among Greek regions in years before and after the crisis outbreak. To reveal how the crisis influenced economic development of each of thirteen regions separately, macroeconomic analyses of Greek regions and sector division of Greek economy are done for the same time-period with use of important regional macroeconomic indicators.
