Reprezentace, proces, zkušenost: (post)industriální krajina v antropologicko-geografické perspektivě / Representation, process, experience: (post)industrial landscape in anthropological-geographical perspectiveGibas, Petr January 2016 (has links)
Representation, process, experience: (post)industrial landscape in anthropological-geographical perspective Abstract The main topic of the dissertation is the (post)industrial landscape of what is today the Czech Republic. In particular, the dissertation presents three case studies of three (post)industrial landscapes: that of Ostrava, Kladno and Most. The aim of the dissertation is twofold - thematic as well as theoretical. As far as the thematic focus of the dissertation goes, the author employs the concept of landscape as a prism through which it is possible to explore large societal shifts and changes as they are mirrored in landscape. The question is what has happened to industrial landscape after the fall of socialism and how industrial landscape has turned into what it is now. On the theoretical level, the (post)industrial landscape of contemporary Czechia is used as a means of exploring the complexity of the concept of landscape and developing a conceptualization of landscape that comes to terms with its complexity, ambiguity and elusiveness. In terms of theory, the dissertation engages with three ways of conceptualising landscape prevalent in contemporary anthropology and (new cultural) geography: landscape as representation, process and experience. To explore them in depth and reveal any...

The proposal for place like the district of Poblenou is a great adventure. The blocks of the famous urban Plan Cerda closest inside in itself dramatic history of old industrial era, when they have called Barcelona " The Manchester Of Catalunya ". And here I ask myself the question. What does the word landscape in this environment? How to apply to old buildings and chimneys of the idea of the archetype of landscape? Is it just those elements that had nurtured almost all Catalunya? They can be roof now abandoned industrial buildings become something else? The new facade?A Sea? A Landscape ?

Синтакса падежа у романијским говорима Старог Влаха: метафоризација простора / Sintaksa padeža u romanijskim govorima Starog Vlaha: metaforizacija prostora / THE SYNTAX OF CASES IN THEROMANIJA SPEECH OF THE STARI VLAHREGION: THE METAPHORISATION OFSPACESimić Zoran 24 June 2016 (has links)
<p>U radu se analizira funkcionisanje determinativnih<br />padežnih sistema u romanijskim govorima Starog<br />Vlaha. Razmatraju se sintaksičko-semantičke<br />karakteristike padežnih konstrukcija koje su<br />sintaksički formalizatori semantičke kategorije<br />prostornosti, a zatim i one koje su sintaksički<br />formalizatori više apstraktnih semantičkih kategorija,<br />a to su: temporalnost, kvalifikativnost (u okviru nje:<br />instrumentalnost, kvalifikativnost u užem smislu,<br />propratna okolnost, kriterijum / osnov<br />kvalifikativnog tipa, komparativnost,<br />kvantifikativnost), intencionalnost, kauzalnost,<br />kondicionalnost, koncesivnost i posesivnost.<br />Posebno se sagledavaju padežne konstrukcije s<br />primarno prostornim značenjem, kao izvornim<br />domenom, koje mehanizmom metaforizacije prostora<br />nalaze svoje mesto u sistemu formalizatora navedenih<br />apstraktnih semantičkih kategorija kao ciljnih<br />domena.</p> / <p>The thesis analyses the function of<br />determinative case systems in the Romanija<br />speech of the Stari Vlah region. It deals with<br />syntactic and semantic characteristics of case<br />constructions which act as syntactic formalisers<br />of the semantic category of spatiality as well as<br />those which are syntactic formalisers of more<br />abstract semantic categories, such as the<br />following: temporality, qualificability<br />(including instrumentality, qualificability in a<br />narrower sense, concomitancy, the criterion /<br />basis of the qualificative type, comparability<br />and quantifiability), intentionality, causality,<br />conditionality, concessionality and<br />possessiveness. Tvorba německého výtvarníka Fritze Gärtnera a jeho vliv na severočeský region / Artistic creation of the German artist Fritz Gärtner and his influence on the Northern Bohemian regionSofková, Klára January 2016 (has links)
(in English): This thesis seeks to examine the state of the fine art in North Bohemia region at the turn of the 20th century. The period is dominated by romantic and realistic landscape art, which was also the domain of Fritz Gärtner. The thesis furthermore illuminates the life of German artists before and after the World War I in this region. The work focuses on Metznerbund group as it is considered the major movement among the German artists within the given period. Following chapters aim to illuminate the state of the fine art in North Bohemia region after the Second World War.The practical part of the thesis examines the life and work of a Sudeten German painter Fritz Gärtner: his early work from his hometown Ústí nad Labem, his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and his first considerable exhibition named Arbeit (Labor). The research provides us with new findings that complement previous findings from my bachelor's thesis, which was focused on interpretation of selected Gärtners paintings, resulting in a complete monography of the Sudeten German painter. The research was based on secondary literature concerning the fine art in North Bohemia region and provides a broad scale of new facts about the artistic creation and life of painters within fine art associations in the 20th century.

Okraje polních cest jako zdroj biodiverzity (případová studie na epigeických broucích) / Road side verges in agricultural landscape and their biodiversity - epigeic beetlesJELÍNEK, Jan January 2017 (has links)
The species diversity, aktivity, equitability and human impact were studied using epigeic beetle communities on transect whest field field trip and alfaalfa field. The materiál was collected by pitfall traps during the period Juni-September 20016 in cadastr of the town Písek in the Southern Bohemia. 38 species and 567 individuals were kept together. Activita of beetles differs in studied plots. The highest aktivity was found on fields and the lowest in field trip. Index of human impact was very similar on studied plots wheat 2,5, field trip 12, rape 0). I tis clear that alll studied are strongly impacted by human acticity. The frequency of relic species were (Dragons and Ground beetles) 20% only on all studied plots 80,00%. The adaptible species absent on field cultures and was found on field trip only. 6 species of adaptible (stenotopic) species were found on field trip only, but their aktivity were very low. The equitability of communities in filed plots was very low (2,331 2,474). The highest equitabilty was found on field trip (3,04). The ordination of commuties indicate the close similarity. The species diversaity is very similar in all communities on studied plots. We recommend the change of sowing management and the lower agrotechnic interference in studied locality. We recommend to enhance the plots of biocorridors and biocenters. The stuided field trip plays a role for the increse of the biodiversity of epigeic beetles, which are important for the reduction of pest organisms in agricultural landscape.

Vliv výstavby silničního obchvatu Klatov na biodiverzitu / The effect of the construction of road bypasses by Klatovy on biodiversityŠIZLINGOVÁ, Václava January 2012 (has links)
The theme of this thesis was the influence of the construction of ring road Klatovy and adjacent communities on the landscape and biodiversity (fauna and flora). Road bypass Klatovy best solution would be to reduce noise and emission limits for residents of the city center and surrounding villages. The work was described and compared to the previous (1997) and the current status of the territories. The bypass was assessed in terms of impact on landscape and biodiversity based on the evaluation of environmental impact, not only in my own observation, but also according to the results that emerged from the EIA process. Structure was evaluated invertebrate communities epigeických to pass the planned route in all its variants. In the section I and II. bypass was in the process of EIA (1997) and my own observations assessed and evaluated only one option which was selected in the previous period as the most suitable. In section III. bypass has been assessed and evaluated five options V1 - V5. The EIA process has been selected as the most suitable variant V4, both in terms of impact on landscape, biodiversity, and on the population. The suitability of the V4 variant was also confirmed by my own observations. After their evaluation, I concluded that the bypass, although this variant cross turfy stream, but the forest reaches a minimum. The route passes through predominantly agricultural landscape management, which is already burdened in this area the existence of bike paths and rail corridors.

Experimentální iniciální stádia sukcese na různých substrátech: analýza pokryvnosti rostlin, vybraných půdně biologických charakteristik a jejich vzájemného vztahu / An experimental study of initial succession on different substrata: analysis of changes in plant species cover and some soil biological parameters and their relationshipsKRESÁČ, Martin January 2007 (has links)
A four year experimental study of initial stages of succession on different substrata (sand, peat and gray clay overburden from brown coal mining) was carried out. The substrata were transplanted into two different landscape types in the Czech Republic. Control plots were filled with autochthonous topsoil treated with high temperature vapor. Plots with un-treated autochthonous topsoil were also established. Plant species cover and several soil-biological parameters (soil microbial biomass, basal soil respiration, exchangeable pH(KCl), organic-C extractable by potassium sulfate solution, and nitrate-N content) were measured once a year. Obtained data were mainly processed by unimodal (plant cover data) and liner (soil-biological data) ordination methods. Biological species traits (life span, seed dispersal vector, seed bank type, ecological strategy type following Grime, life form following Raunkiaer) were used to characterize early stages of plant succession. Vegetation and measured soil-biological parameters, except pH(KCl), were significantly changing during four growing seasons. Variance partitioning analysis based on plant species cover data indicated the landscape type to be the main governing factor and physico-chemical characteristics of substrate to be less important during the studied initial stages of succession. The same analysis based on soil-biological parameters showed the reverse result. Great variability of plant species ecological traits was noticed during four growing seasons. The earliest plant colonizers were mainly ruderal, anemochorous terophytes with persistent seed bank. The number of species with C-strategy type increased during the study. The relationship between the average plant species cover and measured soil-biological parameters was also examined during the experimental study of early succession. Direct and indirect ordination revealed the average sum of plant species cover to be weakly positively correlated with soil microbial biomass, basal soil respiration, nitrate-N, potassium sulfate extractable organic-C, metabolic quocient (qCO2) and negatively correlated to exchangeable pH(KCl). The relationship was significant only in the case of microbial biomass and potassium sulfate extractable organic-C. More detailed studies of the relationship between aboveground plant species biomass and soil microbial communities in initial stages of succession are required. Comparability of presented study is limited because not many experimental investigations of similar kind have been presented until now.

Vývoj osídlení v mikroregionu Zarabag (jižní Uzbekistán) na základě archeologických pramenů / Dynamics of the settlement pattern in the microregion of Zarabag (southern Uzbekistan) on the basis of archaeological sourcesAugustinová, Anna January 2017 (has links)
15 Abstract The following thesis summarizes results of the archaeological research in the microregion of the Zarabag Oasis in the South Uzbekistan. The non-destructive research focused on the collection and evaluation of the archaeological data that allow to reconstruct the settlement dynamics in the oasis during the ages. Previously, there was not archaeological evidence available in the region. The fieldwork in the oasis and its closest surroundings was conducted by way of extensive surface survey (global coverage of the oasis focused on the detection of archaeological evidence), and intensive one (systematic surface survey on a closely defined area). The extensive survey proved to be more suitable for the studied environment in terms of the quality and quantity of the collected archaeological data. One part of the survey consisted in detection of the water sources (springs, surface canals and even remains of the karez systems). The basic units of extensive survey were represented by polygons (gardens, fields, cemeteries, tepas etc.), to which the finds collected during the research were attributed. Their dating in the combination with their spatial distribution allowed then to reconstruct the settlement processes and dynamics in the microregion of the oasis. One part of the research deals also with the...
