The aim of this theoretical and practical thesis is to clarify the idea of the existence of four basic elements with the focus on those of their features that can be straitforwardly used for the characterictic and temperamental traits of an individual. It also deals with the topic of symbol and allegory in art, explains some terms and, to some extent, characterizes their development, including their clarification based on particular works of art. The thesis con-centrates also on the use of the themes of elements, symbols and allegory as a source of in-spiration in Art lessons at basic schools. The practical part contains a colours drawing with the motif of figural composition of four allegoric figures representing the basic elements.

The thesis will consider ways of understanding drawing as an endless process, an experience leading to an intensification and understanding of the world, myself and capabilities of mine. Creation of long-term portrait studies, as a constant reiteration and improvement of the drawing. The theoretical part of the work defines the historical use of drawing as a material and tool for daily rituals in the visual arts, with an emphasis on artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the practical part, a series of portrait drawings was made in various techniques, which is listed in the theoretical part. In the didactic part, an artistic cycle on the theme "Endless drawing" / drawing as knowledge of the world was realized. I paint parks- places for trips, the terrains and spaces. I depict its structure, which is composed from various elements. I am interested in humane touch and movement and especially in their look. I am interested in the by human kind build environment or moved places. Moreover hove it influence humane being. Parks are places created for touch, for extraordinary feelings, for fulfill perceptions. Nevertheless I try to describe that sort of places and recreate them in my paintings.

This dissertation entitled Crystals Collector is concerned with the phenomenon of collecting, and more specifically with crystals as objectes in an imaginary collection. The objects are selected based on a personal fascination of the author. However, the collection always has, similarly as a crystal, a predetermined internal structure. The meaning of individual parts only become apparent when they are viewed as a whole. The main artefacts of the collection are paintings on canvas - with the painting becoming a similar 'fetish' as a collected crystal. Mineral it the key artefact and as such it is subjected to deeper examination (experiments with growth of crystals, studies of crystals, artefacts having a close relationship to crystals...).

I base my spatial installations upon working with waste materials. I use characteristic and aesthetics of cardboard and wooden clippings to express dialogue with geometrical drawings, which I have been producing since the last year. Protracted and unexpectedly-carved shapes resemble timber beams or ruins and can lead to ecological or eschatological questions. The title "Monument" is an ironical disputation with human trace and materials we use without giving them any further attention.

Resumé This Ph.D. thesis deals with scenic designs and decorations of Baroque theatre in 18th century in Czech Republic. The paper presents development of theatre based on preserved decorations and scenic designs.And try to find the answer about scenic painting in Bohemia. The thesis focused mainly on scenic designes with connection to the aristocratic families. Timeline is defined by the work of Galli Bibiena's family and the work of Josef Platzer. The scenic decorations are presented on the background of Austrian and Italian influences that directly affected Czech culture and mutual connection with the other baroque theatres in the European cities.In this context, the question arises, which has become one of the main lines of thesis, whether there was purely Czech stage design influenced by European theater art or the application of Viennese and Italian designs on the Czech territory.And whether it can be referred to as "Czech stage art" or more generally Central European stage design. Abstract The submitted dissertation is focused on the observation of difficulties in the drawing development of preschool children. Drawing is a typical means of expression of a child, it is often considered as a spontaneous and natural activity. Nevertheless in the population of preschool children we may find some kids who do not draw at all, or they start to draw at a much later stage than it is common amongst the ordinary population, or they may also react negatively to drawing. Within this work a phenomenon in which the child's drawing distinctively does not correspond to his cognitive abilities due to the risk of a specific disability of drawing adoption (dyspinxia) or due to another crisis of imaging in the preschool age. The focus of the research lies in the processing of quantitative methods (intellectual abilities test, drawing tests), however additional information is also derived from the qualitative methods (anamnesis, interview, observation, essay). The theme chosen for the dissertation is based on the research which deals with the question how to transform a real perception into abstraction. In a free way, I am inspired by my abstract paintings created through all my master's degree study. For a long time, the subject matter of my paintings has been the blending of structure, light and landscape. By gradual simplyfication and penetration of scenery motives with arquitecture and living nature, I try to create a complex piece of work. This abstract composition exposes always with particular impression of landscape's mood. It also stylizes a question,what we are focusing on and where we are looking, while being fascinated by the scenery - when staring into space.

Diploma thesis "E-memorybook" (with subtitle "Just actually you know how") is a miniseries, the audiovisual work, using some strategies for TV series. The final piece of the project composed of the seven short episodes, that straddle the boudary among video, video-collage, animation and powerpoint presentation.
