Jesuit college in Český Krumlov on the turn of 16th to 17th century. Contribution to religous and social history of the city This dissertation is dedicated to history of the city Český Krumlov on the verge of 16th and 17th century. Based on study of relevant literature and drawing from chosen sources, especially copy of cronicle of Český Krumlov's jesuit college and criminal law agenda from the judiciary court of Český Krumlov, it reveals the establishment of jesuit college in Český Krumlov in 1584 and its further influence in the city till the year 1622. Further part of the dissertation concentrates on relationship of Jesuits to suzerains and the townsmen of Český Krumlov looking closer at three civil proceedings that local Jesuits lead in the nineties of the 16th century and first two decades of the 17th century with suzerains of Rožmberk, Krumlov's non-christians and townsmen.

The diploma paper "To the problems of activity of Národní jednota pošumavská in the region of Český Krumlov" deals with the characteristics of activity of Národní jednota pošumavská in the years 1884{--}1948 with regards to the concrete region of Český Krumlov. The main target of this thesis is to define the life of local Czech people and their national work which was evolved in mainly German area since the early 80´s of 19th century. The first chapter describes the brief history of Národní jednota pošumavská which was established against the backdrop of difficult national policy. The target was to emphasize important acts of Czech national work and to introduce some important persons working for Národní jednota pošumavská. The first part of the second chapter is focused on the brief history of the region of Český Krumlov showing its prestige and decline. The second part looks into the everyday life in Český Krumlov and its surroundings from the beginning of the 19th century to 1884 when the local department of Národní jednota pošumavská was established there. The first part of the third chapter introduces some important aspects of begun national work in borderland. The second part deals with the cultural life in Český Krumlov from the early 80´s of the 19th century to the half of the 20th century. The first part of the last chapter captures the activity of the Český Krumlov local department of Národní jednota pošumavská itself. The second part is dedicated to important persons of the Český Krumlov local department of Národní jednota pošumavská.

Práce hodnotí situací okresu Český Krumlov jako pohraniční oblasti se specifickým historickým vývojem, který měl a stále má vliv na hospodářské a sociální ukazatele okresu. Tyto ukazatele jsou v práci podrobně rozebírány s cílem odhalit specifika nejen celého okresu v rámci kraje a celé České republiky, ale také poukázat na rozdíly mezi jednotlivými oblastmi okresu.

THE INFLUENCE OF TOURISM ON THE UNESCO SIGHTS ČESKÝ KRUMLOV AND TELČ Abstract My thesis is direct at identification of positive and negative effects of tourist industry in historical centre of Cesky Krumlov and Telc after 1992 when the cities were written on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. At the same time thesis analyzes current condition these historical sights. In the first part of thesis is analysing technical literature that is applying with problems of tourism. In the following chapters is thesis focused on attendance, demographical changes and the management of tourism in the individual destinations. The most beneficial part of this thesis may be considered chapters analysing tourist's portals, accommodation and restaurant facilities. The next, chapter of field analyse of selected areas and controlled interviews with chosen participants of tourism and public administration. The aim of this work is to present new findings on the quantitative and qualitative composition of the Minorite Library in Český Krumlov during the pre-Hussite period, using standard comparative codicological procedures. The original source base, comprising the preserved manuscripts and the library catalogue from 1502 has been successfully expanded through heuristic research to include a previously unknown Minorite Library catalogue from 1787 and what was previously the only library catalogue of the Český Krumlov St Claire nuns, which was compiled in 1782 during the inventorization of the disestablished convent's property. Study of the archive sources housed in the Museum of Decorative Arts archive produced important findings regarding the sale of Český Krumlov manuscripts and incunabula from the museum between 1894 and 1896, as well as the role played by curator Karel Herain in preserving the Český Krumlov manuscripts during the Second World War. Attention is primarily focused on the manuscripts from the book donation made by Peter II of Rosenberg to the convent. When a comparison was made with other preserved manuscripts it was established that the size of the book donation was greater than originally thought. Diplomová práce navrhuje marketingovou strategii Mezinárodního hudebního festivalu Český Krumlov a dále pak jednotlivá taktická opatření v oblasti marketingového mixu festivalu. Pro návrh strategie je využita analýza kulturně-společenských akcí v Českém Krumlově a analýza informací z předchozích ročníků festivalu. Práce dále poukazuje na širší socio-ekonomické dopady konání MHF ČK na podnikatelské subjekty ve městě a jeho okolí, analyzuje možnosti užší spolupráce mezi nimi a pořadatelem festivalu a definuje profil typického návštěvníka MHF ČK.
