Využití hybridně stabilizovaného oblouku pro zplyňování biomasy a degradaci ve vodě rozpustných organických látek / Hybridly stabilized arc as a tool for biomass gasification and the degradation of water-soluble organic compounds

Hlína, Michal January 2018 (has links)
(EN) A plasma torch (the source of plasma) with Gerdien arc was utilized as the source of energy in a reactor for gasification of biomass and for the degradation of organic compounds dissolved in water circling around the arc where the dissolved compounds are exposed to an intensive ultraviolet radiation. Thermal plasmas have electrons, ions and neutrals in thermal equilibrium and are quite often characterized by higher pressures and temperatures than nonthermal plasmas. Therefore, thermal plasmas generally carry a huge amount of energy which can be employed for heating and subsequent gasification of various types of materials. Thermal plasma gasification reactors are operated at higher temperatures than conventional reactors which results in a very good composition with a high percentage of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in produced synthetic gas. Spruce sawdust and spruce pellets were gasified at feeding rates up to 60 kg/h. Oxidizing media such as water, carbon dioxide, oxygen or their mixtures had to be added to the reactor during experiments to avoid the formation of solid carbon. The compositions of produced gas significantly corresponded to calculated compositions and the produced gas was of high quality - hydrogen content approximately 45 % vol., carbon monoxide approximately 48 % vol., a...

Způsoby ochrany obyvatelstva před nebezpečnými chemickými látkami při mimořádných událostech / Means of population protection against chemical hazards during emergency situations

MRÁZKOVÁ, Silvie January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the methods of population protection from hazardous chemicals in the event of an emergency situation. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of legislation that governs hazardous chemicals and it pays special attention to the risks related to the transportation of hazardous chemicals and their subsequent leakage. The thesis describes selected hazardous chemicals and informs of accidents that have happened recently. It is also pays attention to warnings, evacuation, providing shelter and the means of improvised protection, which is the most important factor for common public. People meet tanker cars transporting chemicals everywhere and every day; therefore, the protection of population should be aimed in this direction. People often do not know how to behave in situations like this. A questionnaire was compiled for research in the practical part; the questionnaire was intended to find out about the level of knowledge among people. Through the evaluation of population informedness and based on the questionnaire results, a suitable form of education was proposed to fill a gap in the knowledge (a pocket guide). At the same time, the questionnaires were distributed among the staff of the Fire and Rescue System with the aim of confirming their preparedness as well. The preparedness of the Fire and Rescue System is also documented by the analysis of photographs from a tactical drill aimed at a leakage of a hazardous chemical during transport.

Služby zaměstnávání bývalých uživatelů návykových látek v ČR ve srovnání s obdobnými službami v Rakousku a Skotsku / Employment Services for Former Substance Users in the Czech Republic in Comparison with Similar Services in Scotland and Austria

Veis, Štěpán January 2011 (has links)
The diploma thesis "Employment Services for Former Substance Users in the Czech Republic in Comparison with Similar Services in Scotland and Austria" discusses the problem of employment of people that used illegal drugs for some time in their lives and now abstain. To get a job and keep it is fundamental for them to be able to prosper in newly started life. Former substance users are characterized with respect to their position in the labour market and the need of social reintegration. Their employability in the Czech labour market is given from the point of view of the clients and workers of the treatment facilities, and from the point of view of potential employers. The possibilities of employment services offered to former substance users are then shown by three projects, i.e. Czech Work and Social Agency of SANANIM, o. s., Scottish Addiction Workers' Training Programme, carried out by Scottish Drugs Forum, and Austrian social firm Fix und Fertig, a branch of Verein Wiener Sozialprojekte. The projects are compared as to their approaches to the problem of employability, basic parameters that employment services offered to the former substance users should take into account are defined, and finally, the possibilities of development of these services in the Czech Republic are outlined.

Trestná činnost související se zneužíváním návykových látek / Crime relating to the abuse of addictive substances

Kubisková, Martina January 2014 (has links)
My thesis is focused on crime related to the abuse of addictive substances. It is a broad topic, because the abuse of addictive substances brings with it a whole range of social, health and economic problems and binds a wide range of criminal activities. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the body of each drug offence, related case law and current issues of the drug problem in the Czech Republic. The first chapter defines the basic terms associated with drug issues. The following chapter deals with the classification of drugs and their effects. It classifies drugs as legal and illegal, and lists their most harmful psychological, social and health risks. This chapter helps us to make a picture about the most commonly abused drugs in our country. The third and fourth chapters provide a general introduction to the topic of drug offences and describe the background of their current legislation. The merit of my thesis is contained in chapters 5 - 9. Each chapter focuses on a specific drug offence, as they are enshrined in sections 283 - 287 of the Criminal Code. All atributes of the facts of the crimes and qualified facts of the crimes are described in this chapters. Trestná činnost související se zneužíváním návykových látek / Crime relating to the abuse of addictive substances

Mandík, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The purpose of my thesis is to analyse crime relating to the abuse of addictive substances. This is a very broad topic that affects many non-legal areas such as health care or economy. It is also associated with many criminological questions. However, in my thesis I focused on drug offences stated in the Czech Criminal Code. This topic was already processed several times, yet it still remains topical since the drug scene is constantly evolving, especially thanks to advanced technologies. The thesis is composed of seven chapters and the first chapter is aimed on defining the basic terms, which I consider crucial for the understanding of the issue. In this chapter I also define the basic terminology used in the thesis. The next chapter deals with the history of the legal regulation of the abuse of addictive non-alcoholic substances. I focused especially on the national legislation and to the limited extent also on international treaties. The first act I mentioned is "Břetislav decrees" from 1039 and gradually I'm getting to the current Criminal Code. One part of the chapter is devoted to the previous Criminal Code no. 140/1961 Coll. The merit of my thesis is contained in the chapters 3 - 7. Each chapter describes one of the drug offences, which are found in the articles 283 - 287 of the Criminal Code....

Abu Dayeh, Christián January 2016 (has links)
Crimes related to substance abuse Criminal offences related to substance abuse are still a highly topical issue having serious social, health-related, financial and security impacts on the whole society. Since the subject is very broad, I decided to focus on substantive law of so-called drug-related crimes. The thesis is divided into eight sections. In the first one I define the basic terms that are frequently used in the thesis and whose definition is crucial for understanding the text as a whole. Second section contains historical background of the current legal form of drug- related crimes in the Czech Republic, while also some international legal rules are included as they influenced local legal development as well as many legal obligations result from them for the Czech Republic until the present. Third section covers current legislation; it contains a common introduction for individual elements of the drug-related offences as well as a broader context within the Penal Code, and it also mentions certain non-penal legislation that is closely connected to this topic. Substance of this thesis is in sections 4 - 8 describing individual elements of the drug offences. In each section there is also some part devoted to analyzing current issues. In the fourth section I deal with an act of cannabis...
