7 Abstract The thesis analyses trends of two environmental aspects in spatial terms of the Czech Republic and timal terms since 1993 till 2010. The two aspects are acid deposition as environmental pressure and defoliation of forest crown as environmental impact. Since one aspect is cause of the other the thesis also analyses trends of relationship between these aspects and comapares the results with the concept of decoupling of environmental pressure from economic growth. Important findings are that despite huge relative decrease of environmental pressure expressed by acid deposition the decrease of environmental impact expressed by forest crown defoliation is very low. Although decoupling occured during the analyzed period it's not possible to say that linkage between "environmental bads" and "economic goods" was broken. The thesis reveals factors that had influence on these findings. The thesis also compares particular concepts of decoupling being used and provides author's input on which of these concepts suits the best analyzing the breakage of the links between environmental pressure from economic growth in all of its aspects. Adolescent drug abuse is a negative phenomenon, thesis aims for selected aspects of work with adolescent psychoactive substances users in Czech republic. Objective is to describe specifics of addictology programmes for adolescents and participation of state administration offices, also provide the list of facilities providing this type of care. Besides the literature, this thesis draws from personal experience of the author, who has been working with adolescent drug users. Institutional case study of addictology programme in context of institutional care is also part of the thesis. In conclusion is model of principles of the therapeutic community suitable for use in terms of institutional care. Case management principles are useful due to the problem complexity.

Theme of diploma thesis is Safety road transport of selected hazardous chemical substances. I drew from domestic and foreign literary sources over the past ten years. Thesis is directed to legislace the Czech Republic and the European Union. The other diploma thesis is directed choose dangerous chemical substances and informatic systems, which this substances give altogether. Fourth topic includes safety road transport, sign for theit safety and documents for road transport. There are actual situation of safety road transport in South Moravia. There are steps, when the accident with dangerous chemical substances happen and typical scenarious of accidents. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of ADHD among clients treated in therapeutical communities for users of illegal addictive substances. The issue of ADHD is explored in the point of view of prevalence, influence on a person and in the point of view of complications during the treatment. Information concerning this issue are absented in the Czech Republic. Research studies about dual diagnosis substantiate the influence of associated co morbid for use of addictive substances in the point of view of an ability of one to cope with normally adjusted medical schedule and make profit out of it. This diploma thesis deals with psychological well-being of children placed in specific educational care centre with boarding service. The theoretical part aims to summarize comprehensive review of problems of children placed in this type of facility. It describes reasons for children being placed into educational care center. It charakterizes children and youth in difficult situations, it focuses on the specifics of the crisis of children and adolescents and describes atmosphere of educational institutions. It also deals with psychological well- being phenomena and its research. Empirical part aims to explore the area of psychological well-being of children placed in the educational care center with boarding service. In order to gain the necessary data were organized interviews with children in this particular facility. As a complementary research method was used content analysis of documentation of clients of educational care center. Based on the interviews it was found that children in educational care center relate their subjective feeling of well-being generally with usual factors but they also show evidence of other factors specific for this group. It characterizes preventive programs and methods used by individual teachers and indicates another possible strategies in this area. It describes the diversity of approaches to the prevention of substance used in two different regions is described and the main reasons for these differences are discussed. The differences are described and explained in the practical part of the thesis. Finally, the possible ways how to enrich and improve the quality of primary prevention programs in primary schools are listed. This master thesis deals with the influence of installation of ecological taxes upon public budgets. The aim is to review, whether collecting of ecological taxes caused reduction of consumption of the taxed fuel and energy. The comparative method is used here to compare the budget and the real payment of the ecological taxes in 2008 and 2009 in the Czech republic. The well-arranged tables and graphs show the comparison of the consumption of the fuel and energy since 2005 to 2009. The result of the research shows, that the collecting of the ecological taxes did not reach the expected amount, so the planned budget was not filled up. The consumption of the fuel and the energy in 2008 and 2009 decreased as expected, but it is impossible to appoint safely, whether the decrease was caused by the implementation of the ecological taxes to the czech legislature.

The main aim of this graduation thesis is to define the term of secondary prevention of drug addiction, which is sometime apprehended in different ways in The Czech Republic. I try to include this new definition to our drug policy and classify target groups and bring new methods to the secondary prevention of drug addiction. The thesis is focused on the terms drug, dependence syndrome and prevention and I use various definitions and opinions. I describe and briefly evaluate the system of drug policy and the place of secondary prevention. The occasional users and their families and friends are defined as a target group. The motivational interviewing is the main method in the secondary prevention. The thesis is structured into six parts and in the last part there are some practical examples from two low-thershold facilities for children and youth.
