Within a few years there have been many highly discussed changes that have changed the pharmacy market and its character. Large companies, which operates a lot of pharmacies was established and these companies quickly increase number of their pharmacies. This has led to the emergence of so-called virtual chains, which help many private entrepreneurs in this area to maintain competitiveness. Between 2008 and 2015 was economy of pharmacies influenced by regulatory fees. The biggest problem of last years is the closure of pharmacies in smaller municipalities, which reduces the availability of pharmaceutical care. The Ministry of Health and the Czech Chamber of Pharmacists are finding a solution to these problems. This diploma thesis deals with a research method that is called mystery shopping. The objective is to introduce of this method, its application in practice, interpretation of results and subsequent proposal of recommendations. Marketing research and the main parts of the research process are in diploma thesis defined. A conception mystery shopper, mystery story are also explained and phases of imaginary shopping are taken to part. The application part is realized through mystery shopping in 42 pharmacy in Prague. The study observes the four chain pharmacy Phramaland, Dr. Max, Lloyds a and Schlecker and focuses on their approach to potential customers and evaluation of quality sales. Recommendations for pharmacy are given according to the analysed results. The closure summarizes the important findings of the thesis.

PHARMACIES IN GREECE Author: Georgios Zacharakis Tutor: RNDr. Jana Kotlářová, Ph.D. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Aim of diploma thesis: The aim is to get current facts and knowledge about the situation of pharmacies in Greece, including their basic problems, and to compare it with the Czech Republic. Methods: Data collection through appreciation of information and studying of literature, esp. Greek legislation. Results: It was given necessary information on the National Health System in Greece and about place and role of pharmacies in this. The main part of thesis deals wits pharmacies in Greece (legislation, statistics, pharmacists, activities in pharmacy). There are many private community pharmacies and low amount of hospital pharmacies which are only for inpatients. Both Greece and Czech Republic made considerable efforts in latest years to harmonize their legislation to the European standards. However, a significant difference between Greece and Czech Republic is profit margins of wholesalers, which are higher in the Czech Republic in comparison to Greece, while the production of drugs in Greece is significant higher than Czech Republic, which based more in its neighboring countries for the supply...

Chování spotřebitelů na trhu lékáren v ČRSochorová, Jana January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with consumer behavior and decision making on the pharmacy retail market. The main objective is to identify characteristics of consumer behavior on the pharmacy market in Czech Republic and to provide recommendations for independent pharmacy owners and managers. This thesis focuses on identification of factors, which influence consumers when choosing and visiting a pharmacy. The main source for analysis of consumer behavior come from the data obtained from 456 respondents via questionnaire survey. The data was processed and assessed using the software Statistica v. 12. One of the main finding is the big importance of sales personnel in pharmacy detail for consumer satisfacti-on. The quantitative survey was supplemented with in-depth interviews with inde-pendent pharmacy owners (n = 5). The survey results allowed to formulate recom-mendations for independent pharmacies.

Alliance Healthcare is one of the leading distributors in this area and would like to increase its turnover and gain new clients. The aim of the thesis is to define marketing tools of all pharmaceutical distributors, make a questionnaire based on this topic that will be sent to customers of the biggest companies and find out how the particular tools are evaluated by the pharmacies and what the position of Alliance Healthcare in comparison to its competitors is. After the evaluation of the questionnaire recommendations that could help Alliance Healthcare to reach its goal follow.

Goals: Prepare a case study on the transition to the new OTC medicines groups with restrictions. To evaluate the positives and negatives, which brought the introduction of the group - with OTC restrictions. Pick up generally applicable principles and specify non-functional parts of the system. Method: For data processing method was applied theoretical research. Literature was searched in the database of the Czech National Library - Klementinum, WHO database, TRIBUNE and interfaces of News portals. The instrumental case study was processed for a detailed insight into the issues. The case study is also based on the analysis of the legal framework of the Czech Republic. The documents provided by SÚKL are used for financial analysis. As another method the stakeholder analysis was used - analysis of opinions of people involved in the drug policy. Results: The case study shows that switching medicines containing PSE to the limited group of OTC to prevent producers of drugs buing drugs in Czech pharmacies, but it did not reduce the amount of drugs produced in the country. Producers started to import precursors from abroad. The whole new system established in 2009 was correct in principle, but failed in practice. State Institute for Drug Control or other stakeholders in drug policy have not been able to resolve the ensuing complications.
