The diploma thesis deals with the selected aspects of the dilemma of the basic human right according to Declaration of Basic Rights, paragraph 6. It focuses mainly on controversial themes such as euthanasia, abortion and death penalty. It provides readers with the definition of the conflict of these three perspectives with breaking the right to life. It shows historical development of the enactment in the Czech Republic and also in the international context. Last but not least, it describes the attitude of selected states (namely Germany, USA and China) to the solution of conflict relations within this area. The attitude of other states is foreshadowed in terms of euthanasia and abortion.

The MA thesis aims to describe the development of local government in the municipality of Nižbor, which is located in the Central Bohemia Region near Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and the town of Beroun. The thesis includes a brief summary of the village´s history, its socioeconomic indicators and management, and also assessment of local elections focusing on the years 2006, 2010 and 2014. The thesis also contains interviews with local councillors, at least one councillor from each list of candidates was selected. Some parts of the interviews were directly quoted, others were paraphrased. The thesis also mentions political parties of the local political system, such as the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), political movement ANO 2011 (ANO 2011) and various associations of independent candidates. The aim of the thesis is to describe the main socioeconomic indicators, to identify actors of the political process in the municipality of Nižbor and to define the character of the decision-making proces of its local government.

The diploma thesis deals with local government. The thesis is made as a case study. The first part deals with theoretical basic concepts and characteristics of municipality. Then the historical development of local self-government in the Czech countries is outlined there and also main specifics of local political process are described. The practical part deals with characteristics of chosen municipality, town of Pelhřimov which is located in the Region of Vysočina and the attention is concentrated mainly on the factors which could influence local government. The main part of the thesis is concentrated on development of local political scene and individual political player inclusive of citizen political participation. The emphasis is put on municipal elections in the year 2014. In the end discovered facts are summarized.

In my diploma thesis I focused on human rights in Islam from the universal and the culture comparative point of view. A goal of my work was to find out, whether it is possible to justify the human rights abuses under the terms of concept of cultural relativism in the Islamic civilisation. The thesis should answer a question if it is possible to apply the principles of cultural relativism in case of human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia. This was achieved by analyzing the most important international and regional tools for human rights protection. The thesis is divided into three chapters, which are dedicating to this issue.

The thesis describes the theoretical knowledge about project management and analyses the corporate environment, based on which is created a proposal for solution of a project for successful realization of the new e-shop.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to use the principles of lean manufacturing to lean workplace and eliminate all forms of waste in this workplace. A part of this work is opti-mal design of the workplace in terms of ergonomics which should have a positive effect on shortening lead time and process cycle efficiency. The thesis is focused on identifying the problem, finding the cause and following design of improves leading to eliminate problems. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze the concept of the freedom of artistic creation and expression in the European Union law, in particular its recognition in primary law, above all in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (Charter), and in the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU). Considering that interpretation of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the EU law is greatly based on constitutional traditions of EU member states and on the approach to these rights established within the Council of Europe, this thesis also deals with the conception of the freedom of artistic expression in constitutions of EU member states and in the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR), as interpreted by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). While relevant case law of the CJEU is only fragmentary, it refers systematically to the extensive case law of the ECtHR, which provides comprehensive theory of the freedom of artistic expression in Europe and provides for studying the evolution of the conception in time. The diploma thesis deals with ethical dilemmas, which social worker ordinary experiences during his work at the OSPOD (Service for the Protection of Children's Rights). The aim of the thesis is to present OSPOD, documents which are part of this work and ethical connection with social work. The aim of the research is to identify the most serious ethical dilemmas and the possibilities how to solve them. The qualitative method of research using semistructured interviews is used to realize the aim of the thesis. The research is carried out at the OSPOD in Český Krumlov.

This diploma thesis deals in the theoretical part with comparing the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Constitution with the Declaration of Human Rights in the sense of historical acceptance in the two countries under consideration. It includes a proposal for a educational project in this area (e.g. the creation of supporting worksheets). It deals with the topic of Human Rights in FEP for Elementary Education and specific SEPs of selected schools. The diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of a new Human Rights education project using selected effective methods. The proposal of this project will be based on the comparison of already existing educational projects.
