Desenvolvimento do programa ATHELCORE para análise termohidráulica do núcleo completo de reatores do tipo LMFBRFrancisco Antonio Braz Filho 01 June 1991 (has links)
O conhecimento da distribuição de temperatura e velocidade no núcleo de um reator é necessária para a verificação dos limites do projeto estrutural, a análise de segurança, o desempenho do combustível, etc. O presente trabalho consiste no desenvolvimento do programa ATHELCORE, o qual representa uma expansão do modelo físico utilizado no programa ATHEL, para a análise termohidráulica do núcleo completo de reatores do tipo LMFBR, considerando a transferência de calor entre feixes. O tempo de execução do programa e a memória requeridos são reduzidos quando comparados a programas similares, tais como o COBRA-WC e o COMMIX, fornecendo uma descrição detalhada do campo de velocidade e temperatura. Os resultados obtidos do programa, em relação aos dados experimentais, são considerados satisfatórios.

The thesis is mainly focused on the design of the intermediate heat exchanger primary circuit of the reactor ESFR. Heat exchanger is calculated heat, hydraulic and strength and is finally processed part drawings. There are designed the basic dimensions of the tube bundle and container heat exchanger. There are included an overview of concepts and so far used types IHX at the nuclear power plants with fast reactors. There are also mentioned basic parameters of the project ESFR and evaluated the safety and operational reliability of the heat exchanger.
