This master’s thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a project which defines a custom monitoring system for needs of a specific company. The design addresses the integration, innovation and simplification of selected company processes based on chosen procedures and analyses from the project management methodology. These processes belong to a single integrated system to save expenses connected with their monitoring and execution.

yes / This paper is a literature review of Logical Framework ideas for the management of the cycle for the planning and implementation of development projects - the "Project Cycle" (MacArthur 1994) The ideas and nature of the LogFrame (as it is generally called) are deceptively simple, with all the thinking and targets for a project represented in a simple 16 cell worksheet, which it is intended should be written on one or at the most two sheets of A4 paper. The underlying intention of this approach is for the objectives of a project or any other intervention to be explicitly defined from an early stage, so as to strengthen the logic of the planning at different levels of a project's performance, and the evaluation of progress when the plans are implemented. A summary matrix for the presentation of all this was first proposed in the US Government in 1970, and the idea not only soon took firm root there in AID, but has been adopted in original or modified form by a very large proportion of Development Assistance Agencies. The aim of the present thesis is to draw a complex picture of the project cycle in the international development cooperation of the Czech Republic and to focus on the matter of the practical implementation of the project cycle in the case of a grant. The theoretical part of the thesis studies the character of the foreign development cooperation policy of the Czech Republic and describes the theory of its project cycle. The thesis describes the individual phases of the project cycle, explains their purpose, notices the roles of all stakeholders and describes the required project documentation. The practical part of the thesis deals with a particular case study. The study presents a description of the project based of an analysis of its project documentation, compares the form of the project cycle implementation with the theory described in the first part and suggests solutions leading to increasing the project cycle's effectiveness in the implementation of future development interventions.

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou současné situace ve firmě Sportobchod.cz s.r.o a aplikací teoretických znalostí projektového řízení, nástrojů a metod k návrhu projektu, který má za cíl usnadnit proces budování a zapojení své komunity zákazníků na Slovensku. Kromě toho by projekt měl sloužit jako návod pro následující projekty analyzované společnosti. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část je zaměřena na představení teorie projektového řízení a vymezení jeho hlavních konceptů. Druhá část je věnována analýze současné situace, která zahrnuje využití různých makroekonomických a mikroekonomických analýz. V poslední části autor navrhuje projekt pomocí metod projektového řízení jako je SMART definice projektových cílů, logický rámec, WBS, RACI Matice, Ganttův diagram a charakterizuje možné přínosy navrhovaného projektu pro analyzovanou společnost.

The diploma thesis deals with an analysis and detailed description of a particular IT company's project lifecycle, its evaluation and an improvement plan implementation. Theoretical part of the thesis contains methods of the project management which are further used in the planning part of the thesis. This is followed by an analysis of the current state of the technical facilities of the customer's company, and a market analysis of the company. The main part of this thesis is focused on describing the solution for migration of existing terminal farms of the customer to the cloud datacenters of the new provider of terminal services, using appropriate methods and tools of project management. The project's benefits for the company are listed in the conclusion.

Diplomová práca je zameraná na aplikáciu metód a nástrojov Projektového manažmentu vrámci projektu Ples VUT. Kapitola 1 skúma teoretické základy Projektového manažmentu a jeho metód. Kapitola 2 analyzuje súčasný stav, udržateľnosť akcie, konkurenciu a ponúka zhrnutie poučenia, ktoré sa môže využiť na zlepšenie stavu v budúcnosti. Kapitola 3 zahŕňa návrhy využiteľné pre projekt Ples VUT 2017, avšak ak by boli návrhy prispôsobené podľa potreby, sú využiteľné aj v ďalších ročníkoch. SMART cieľ, logický rámec, výstupy a WBS, analýza rizík, a plánovanie zdrojov, času a rozpočtu sú navrhnuté využitím metód a nástrojov Projektového manažmentu.

The master´s thesis deals with implementation of ERP system in the company using project management methods. The theoretical part is focused on the most important areas of project management and the essence of ERP systems. Afterwards there are carried out strategic analysis of the company. The main part of thesis contains the specific proposal of project of implementation of ERP system which includes risk analysis, time analysis and budgeting.

This diploma theses deals with the challenges of a project management in a particular construction company that handles projects on daily basis. I focused on the analysis of a particular project in this company, that has been successfully implemented. This analysis served as a starting point for the designing of the changes, as well as a devising a tool that simplifies the set up of the changes into practice. Selected problem was solved by comparing the project management methodology in the project with the project management practices officially proposed in the literature. Tool design was carried out in the environment of Microsoft Excel. I managed to design a tool in which the shortcomings are treated the way that facilitates their implementation into practice, especially by using an easy environment and outputs well-arranged for the user. This tool is therefore mainly used to eliminate the identified shortcomings and thus to facilitate and simplify project management in practice.
