The thesis surveys preparedness of small municipalities to provide data of their cadastral territories in a digital form. This prospective regulation is based on the INSPIRE directive. The preparedness was surveyed by research aimed at usage of geographic information systems in small municipalities with less than 2 000 inhabitants. The output of this thesis is to create a methodology for the implementation of geographic information systems in small municipalities.

The objective of the thesis is to analyse the German export and to analyse German indirect foreign trade promotion. The first part examines export weaknesses and risks and their impacts on German economy. The second part investigates and evaluates the institutional arrangement of the foreign trade promotion system and compares it with selected European economies.

Subbmited thesis devotes causes of strategic analysis in conditions of small-size companies. Chosing appropriate methods thesis researches internal and external environment of company Joinery Kašpar. On that base thesis determines company's position on defined markets and afterwards proposes a set of tactic measures, which are primary focused on communication efficiency increase and presentation of company by various communication tools.

The present thesis attempts at an overview of DC methods used for diagnosing electrical isolation systems. It investigates the problem of small currents and how to measure them. Part of the thesis deals with building a workstation designed for long-term monitoring of absorbing characteristics of dielectric materials and it also presents a layout of a workstation used for measuring recovery voltage. Both workplaces are computer-automated using the VEE Pro application provided by Hewlett-Packard. Tests were performed on both workstations and the obtained results were processed in a test report as specified under ČSN IEC 93. During the experiment, every effort was made to ensure and monitor the atmospheric conditions of the measuring process.

Diploma thesis aim small and medium business and how to improve real small business. Theoretical part investigates SME´s unique characters and specially influence SME in economic system, developement of business plan.Second part analyse small business and aspects of carry on stagnation small business.

This Master’s thesis deals with the analysis of current situation in a company ARMO Green, its environment and with the analysis of factors with which is company influencing its market surroundings. On the basis of findings, the work includes the proposal of support of future development of this business company.

Annotation: This thesis deals with the development of a small company by means of franchising. This franchising concept is based on the critical analysis of the chosen companies. In the theoretical part I processed franchising generally. The practical part contents the characteristic of the chosen company CZECH RENT A SKI s.r.o. This company deals with a winter equipment rental. I processed this concept based on the analysis of the company. The last part contains the schedule of the implementation of this concept.

This thesis in small companies brings a comparison in the level of CSR´s activities.

Diplomová práca popisuje exportnú konkurencieschopnosť malých a stredných podnikov v Európskej Únii, faktory ovplyvňujúce ich výkonnosť a rozhodovanie ohľadne exportných aktivít. Použitie relevantnej literatúry a štúdií umožnuje poskytnúť kritický pohľad na danú problematiku. Na konci práce sú navhrnuté odporúčania na zlepšenie a záver.

The presented dissertation work is focused on a problem of benchmarking. In particular, it deals with a role and limitations of benchmarking as a tool for company management's decision-making. The basic objective of the work is to propose a methodology of conducting benchmarking in small and medium-size companies in connection with strategic management, to raise their competitiveness and efficiency. The main contribution of the dissertation work is the proposed methodology of implementing and conducting benchmarking in small and medium-size companies and carrying out by consulting companies. The proposal of the methodology contains models of considering the suitability of implementing and conducting benchmarking, and those are the main scientific contribution of the doctorate candidate.
