Současná imigrace občanů Ruské federace do České republiky / Current immigration of citizens of the Russian Federation to the Czech RepublicPits, Anastasia January 2022 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the current immigration of Russian citizens to the Czech Republic. The topic is reviewed mainly in the context of demographic deficit and population aging. Russian migration to the Czech Republic has a long history but over time its form and structure have changed significantly. At the same time, migration can have both positive and negative consequences for the Czech Republic, especially from a political and socio-economic point of view. This work presents the concept of so-called replacement migration applied to the Russian minority in the Czech Republic as a possible solution to the emerging demographic problems in the country. Therefore, the extent to which the concept of replacement migration is functional and whether the Russian minority in the Czech Republic is a suitable subject for this concept will be examined. This diploma thesis is a case study with elements of comparative analysis, based on available theoretical concepts and statistical data. Exploring further this topic could open a discussion on the role of migration in the Czech Republic in context of increasing alarming demographic changes.

Právní úprava židovské menšiny v meziválečném Československu / Legal regulation of the Jewish minority in Czechoslovakia between warsUrešová, Jana January 2015 (has links)
The issue of Jewish minorities especially during the time of WW2 was discussed many times already. In a number of sources is relatively accurately captured the political situation and the gradual elimination of Jews from society, not to mention the persecution itself. This topic has me wondering about since I was about Jews and World War 2 learned. Already in elementary school I was reading children's encyclopedias most this topic and still could not understand how something like this could happen. What I got older, the more information I investigated, but still without understanding the causes why the Jews, whom you made that had so cruelly ended, and again and again the same question, how is it possible that this could happen in the recent past? ? Thesis Theme for me was clear because of that. I had quite a lot of information about Jewish life during the war, but I did not know too much about their origin and especially fascinated by the origins of their control what circumstances preceded the war. As a basis for a complete understanding of all contexts, in my opinion, necessary to start from the beginning. Who are the Jews, where they were married, where they came from, who they were, what they ate and how they are treated as a minority. After finding this information, for me it...

Fiskální dopady z dodatečných investic do vzdělání Romů v České republice / Fiscal Gains from Extra Investment into Roma Education in the Czech RepublicKubíková, Marie January 2015 (has links)
The thesis aims at quantifying the potential fiscal gains of an extra investment into Roma education. From the budgetary point of view, it would pay off to invest extra money into Roma children, if it increased future net contributions to the budget. The extra investment into one child could take values up to the average discounted value of future net benefits per person. The net benefits represent the increased net contributions due to a higher level of education. The contribution of the thesis is the estimation of different net contributions of Roma with various educational levels to the national budget in order to encourage the investment into Roma children. Secondly, we estimated the yearly loss of the national budget due to lower education among the Roma. And thirdly, we conducted a survey among the clients of the endowment fund Verda to find the relationship between their education, employment status and other variables.
