Synonyme bei der Erzeugung, Generierung und Produktion natürlicher Sprache

Mehl, Stephan 13 December 2001 (has links)
Varying words in natural language generation requires the use of syn-onyms. In traditional dictionaries, however, the formal representation of synonyms is difficult due to their dependence on context. In addition to that, not all synonyms enhance the readability and comprehensibility of a text equally well. It is proposed to take the context of synonyms into account by using a spreading activation mechanism in a semantic network. Several criteria are discussed to choose among the so-obtained alternatives.

Plautus' 'Mercator' : a commentary

Dunsch, Boris January 2001 (has links)
This thesis comprises an introduction, a lemmatic commentary, and indices. The introductory chapter, apart from a brief discussion of a more general nature, investigates the play and the relation it bears to Philemon's Emporos, its lost Greek model, especially with regard to the actdivisions of the Greek play and the pacing of the action in Plautus' adaptation. The commentary is provided to address problems posed by the Latin text, notably those of exegesis, textual criticism, metre, grammar, humour, imagery, staging, and the relationship to the Graeco-Roman comic tradition. An attempt is also made to distinguish between elements which may reflect the Greek comic tradition and those which suggest Plautine origin. In recent work about Plautus and Philemon it has been argued that the plot of the Emporos underwent far-reaching changes at the hands of Plautus, but the author of this thesis argues for the essential unity of the Mercator and for Plautus' conservative treatment of the plot of the Greek original, at the same time allowing for the fact that Plautus may have Romanised, exaggerated, and extended Philemon's play at certain points. By its structure, metrical arrangement, pacing, juxtaposition of contrasting types, parallel arrangement of core scenes, and the recurrence of key imagery, themes and motifs, the Mercator proves to be a carefully conceived, effectively balanced, and well-composed play.

Plasmaaktivierung von Polypropylenoberflächen zur Optimierung von Klebverbunden mit Cyanacrylat Klebstoffen im Hinblick auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften - Plasma modification of polypropylene for an optimization of bonds using cyanoacrylate adhesives from a viewpoint of mechanical properties

Mühlhan, Claus 28 January 2002 (has links)
In the present study low pressure plasma pretreatment has been investigated as an alternative to chemical primer pretreatment. The mechanical properties of Polypropylene-Cyanoacrylate bonding which were both, plasma and primer pretreated were compared. From the investigations, where the plasma parameters were systematically varied, it can be concluded that a very short exposure to an oxygen plasma and new curing conditions led to the best results. The shear strength after plasma pretreatment became even higher than after primer pretreatment.

Gottfried August Bürger und Gotthold Ephraim Lessing

Grimm, Gunter E. 12 February 2002 (has links)
The German author Gottfried August Buerger estimated Lessing's works, but they hadn't any influence on his poetical products. Nevertheless in his later theoretical writings Buerger mentioned Lessing as an important model.

Über den Einfluss einer wässrigen H2O2-Lösung auf die Verbrennung und Schadstoffemission eines DI-Dieselmotors - About the Influence of an Aqueous H2O2 Solution on the Combustion and the Pollutant Emissions of a DI Diesel Engine

Franz, Berthold 10 May 2002 (has links)
This thesis reports on the influence of an aqueous H2O2 solution on the combustion process and the pollutant emissions of a direct injection naturally aspirated diesel engine. The effect of a H2O2/water addition into a flow reactor, into the exhaust gas and into the combustion chamber of a diesel engine was monitored by the measurement of gaseous (HC, CO, NOx, O2) and solid exhaust gas constituents. The effect on solid exhaust gas constituents was observed by the means of mass-, size- and number-related measurement techniques. Additional experiments with cycle resolved spectroscopy and pressure indication were performed in the case of H2O2/water injection into the combustion chamber. The results show that a significant decrease of gaseous and solid pollutant emissions of a diesel engine is possible with H2O2/water addition. Particularly the strong effect of a H2O2/water injection into the combustion chamber on soot oxidation indicates that OH radicals play an important role in the process of soot oxidation wi in the combustion chamber.
