Matematické modelování proudění v geometricky složitých prostředích / Mathematical modelling of air-flow in geometrically complicated areasFuka, Vladimír January 2014 (has links)
The Charles University Large-eddy Microscale Model (CLMM) and its application are presented. It is a numerical model for simulation of turbulent flow and dispersion in the planetary boundary layer. CLMM solves the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in the Boussinesq approximation and describes turbulence using the large eddy simulation. Three applications of the model are presented. In the first case, the model is applied to the stable boundary layer over a flat terrain. The second case presents the simulations of stably stratified flows over obstacles. The last case deals with the dispersion of a hazardous material within an urban canopy. It was performed in the frame of the COST Action ES1006 and uses the Michelstadt flow and dispersion dataset for model validation.

This study deals with aspects of the everyday social reality of the forced community in the Terezin ghetto in 1941-1945. It is a microsociological introspection of the life of the prisoners that lived in the ghetto. It aims to define social factors that influenced the lives of people that were stigmatized, fought for their lives and lived in border-line situations. The research part of the study uses biographical method. It uses 10 recorded testimonials of survivors - former Terezin prisoners. The research was carried out by means of partly structured interviews. The questions dealt with internal and external factors that created the daily reality of this forced community. The aim was to map their subjective perception of life conditions, social ties, both negative and positive factors and further personal utterances of the narrators. The testimonies serve for better and deeper understanding of the Terezin reality. The factors that affected the community in a negative way included fear of the unknown, fear of loosing close friends and relatives, very bad life conditions that strongly affected the negative mind-set of people and loss of moral values. The final thesis is focused on design of the superstructure of a new concrete bridge in city Žďár nad Sázavou, Kraj Vysočina. The bridge should serve for passing roadway, cycle path and pavement across the river Sázava. The base for bridge design include the measured terrain. The static system is self-anchored system of arch, braces and prestressed semi-through deck. The bridge span is 74,02. Arch span is 57,00 m with high 12,00 m. Construction was assessed by the ultimate limit state and service limit state according to recent standards (Eurocode).

Atmospheric conditions leading to aerosol clusters stabili- zation, fresh particles formation and particle growth were analyzed. Data of days with no new particle formation confrmed the connection between mixing layer height development and decrease of total aerosol number concentration together with lower gaseous pollutant concentrations. On the contrary, new particle for- mation process overcomes dilution of the atmosphere by increasing the number of freshly nucleated particles. Only decreasing gaseous pollutant concentrations were observed during these events. The atmospheric boundary layer was high du- ring new particle formation events that can mean enrichment of the atmosphere by other components transported by long-range transport or some transfer from the free troposphere. The Diploma thesis deals with design and static assessment of timber footbridge structural system for pedestrians and cyclist across the Trebuvka river in Lostice on the site of the existing footbridge. Structural system is designed in two alternatives and assessed according to the current standards. Spans of the bridge are 2x18 m and 1x6 m. The main beams are made of glued laminated timber, other parts of the structure are made of timber and steel elements. First alternative is designed as a simple half-through truss beam, second alternative as continuous beam with variable height where the deck is sitting on top of the girders.

The diploma thesis is focused on solving road bridge situated between Roudno and Razová village over the water basin Slezská Harta. Before the design itself 3 studies were created and compared together. The selected variant is a continuous box girder with inclined walls, post-tensioned by bonded cables. The girder of a total lenght 148,0 m and width 13,6 m is divided into three spans. Height of the girder is 3,3 m. A detailed structural design, including construction limit state assessment, prestress design and time dependent analysis verification is processed. The design and the assessments of temporary and permanent situations are made according to valid standarts and regulations. Drawings and vizualizations are parts of the diploma thesis.

The proposed diploma thesis deals with the application of methodology and tools of inverse analysis for design of selected structural parameters using a fully probabilistic analysis to determine the level of its reliability. The method based on artificial neural networks is used to approximate the inverse function. The inverse analysis was carried out in two ways that differs in the method of obtaining reliability indicators. The structure analyzed in this work was an existing bridge. The year of construction is estimated approximately between the years 1955 to 1960. The bridge is located close to the Uherský Ostroh. It is a one-piece concrete slab made of MPD3 and MPD4 girders post-tensioned by tendons. Based on the 2006 and 2007 diagnostic surveys, laboratory tests, normative regulations and recommendations and, last but not least, sensitivity analyses, an inverse design of selected design parameters was performed for required limit states. Various load levels, different alternatives of design parameters and different neural network structures were studied.
