Analýza debat kandidátů ve 2. kole přímé volby prezidenta České republiky v kontextu politické kampaně / Analysis of the debates of the candidates in the 2nd round of direct presidential election in the Czech Republic in the context of the political campaign

Rozsypal, Michael January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyses the debates of the two candidates who passed to the second round of the Czech direct presidential election in 2013. Primarily focuses on the debates in the public service media - Czech Television and Czech Radio. To put into context the whole campaign will briefly examine the debates on commercial TV stations as well. The thesis applies content analysis as the methodology. It measures how often both candidates (Miloš Zeman and Karel Schwarzenberg) mentioned their officially declared programme theses in a total of six debates on television and radio. The campaign is also presented more broadly in order to put the analysis into a wider context. Only programmes officially designated will be considered for the analysis so as to secure its accuracy. A quantitative analysis of the content will be applied in order to measure the frequency of programme theses in the debates researched. The principal goal of the thesis is to confirm or disconfirm the hypothesis that programme theses do not play such an important role in a political campaign in general, nor in candidate debates. I focus on the aspect of how different debates were and in which type of media presidential candidates presented the higher number of their programme theses.

Paříž jako útočiště českých umělců po roce 1945 / Paris as a haven of Czech artists after 1945

Jarolímková, Klára January 2019 (has links)
The Master thesis has for its objective mapping of destiny of czech comunity in Paris from sixties to eighties. Its purpose is not to get a complete list of all artists, who came to Paris. It's just a sellection of those important persons, who broke through Paris. The personal interviews play an important part of the sources. The thesis is not structured in medallion-biography way, but it is lined up in a thematic way. Most of the artists handled in their new home country withe similar problems and situations. First theoretical part characterise the period, the environment, the czech-french relations and the general phenomena of emigration in the czech historical memory. In sixties the czech-french relations started to be reanimated and many french art critics visited Czechoslovakia and they wrote about czech art. Beside France, the czech emigration refuged in sixties largely to West Germany, United States of America, Canada, austrian Wien, Swiss and nordic countries. Individuals art centres were connected to others by friendships and artists visited themselves. Second and more extensive part of the thesis works with the oral and witten interviews. The respondent artists are Miloš Cvach, Roman Kameš, Karel Machálek-Zlín, Miloslav Moucha, Vladimír Škoda, Ivan Theimer and art historian Jana Claverie....

Program českého dekadentního hnutí a otázka intertextuality. Dílo Miloše Martena / Program of the Czech Decadent Movement and the Question of Intertextuality. Tho Work of Miloš Marten

Kantoříková, Jana January 2018 (has links)
The Program of the Czech Decadent Movement and the Question of Intertextuality. The Work of Miloš Marten This thesis explores the work of Miloš Marten (1883-1917) seeking to analyse its decadent narrative as a modern narrative that brings into play the unity between the pinnacle and the decline. It departs from the comparison between the style and interpretation of the two versions of Cyklus rozkoše a smrti (orig. The Cycle of delight and death; 1907 and 1917/1925) and the study of the realisations of this work. For this purpose the study contextually examines the conceptions of "intertextuality" from fin de siècle authors-critics, meaning their conceptualisations of similarity and/or identity of literary works which frequently involve a confluence of degeneration theory, the argument of the non-ethical nature of plagiarism and theory of decadence. All were often used as instruments of disqualification as well as justifications for a modern aesthetics and style. Reconstitution of Marten's theoretical reflection on artistic genres evidences his research of a harmonizing modern culture within an anti-syncretic tendency: mythology and revolt against myth Order being shifted to tragedy and parable, while the novel is designed as an analytical-critical synthesis. Applying contemporary approaches to...

Formanův Amadeus a role hudby ve filmové naraci / Forman's Amadeus and the Role of Music in Film Narrative

Bazika, Tomáš January 2020 (has links)
Forman's Amadeus and the Role of Music in Film Narrative Vedoucí diplomové práce (supervisor): Zpracoval (author): Mgr. Tereza Havelková, Ph.D. Tomáš Bazika studijní obor (program): Praha, July 2020 Obecná teorie a dějiny umění a kultury Abstract The subject of this thesis is a study of the ways of using the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Miloš Forman's motion picture Amadeus. In my thesis, I focus on how Amadeus employs pre-existing classical compositions to create a new, largely fictional narrative based on the life and music of Mozart. I argue that instead of applying pre-existing pieces as film music, Amadeus conceives individual scenes as well as its overall filmic structure to accommodate the music's expressive qualities and biographical associations. I engage in a conversation with relevant existing scholarship to establish a theoretical framework for a systematic interpretation of the meaning-making roles of music in Amadeus. Drawing on Claudia Gorbman's concept of diegetic, non-diegetic and metadiegetic sound categories, I apply her taxonomy to Amadeus in order to show how not only the selection and placement of music but also its relation to the diegesis determine its impact on the narrative. I propose that in its treatment of Mozart's music, Amadeus reverses the traditional hierarchy of the...

Proměny reflexe krajiny; práce ateliéru konceptuální tvorby Miloše Šejna v letech 1990 - 2000 / Changing perceptions of landscape; work of Miloš Šejn's Conceptual art studio in years 1990 - 2000

Hrnčířová, Markéta January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the conceptual expressions, that reflect the landscape. This thesis is also trying to imply the possible genesis of these artistic approaches. After the general definitions of terms and introduction, the thesis examines the various topics, which was related to the landscape and it's anti-mimetic visual representation since the late sixties. Another part of the work focuses on Milos Šejn, an artist with a very specific, physical relationship to nature and at the same time a former head of The Studio of Conceptual art of the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, where many of his students were somehow related to nature. I chose four artists, who passed on Šejn's studio and on the basis of their work and available documents, I will try to show, how this new generation have reflected the landscape. If they were inspired by czech artists or by foreign examples, that were not available in the Czech Republic for a long time.

Diskurzivní analýza politických postojů prezidenta České republiky Miloše Zemana a krajně pravicových politických stran / Discourse Analysis of Political Attitudes of the Czech President Miloš Zeman and far-right political parties

Vocel, Jan January 2017 (has links)
The key research question of my diploma thesis deals with the problem of whether the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman creates the same discourse as far-right political parties in the Czech Republic. The research concerns the social discourse surrounding the current migration crisis facing Europe. In this connection, there is a discourse analysis of the themes of migration, Islam, terrorism, external and internal actors. This research is conducted on the basis of the theory of binaries from Teun Van Dijk, which can be applied to a populist political style characterized by President Zeman and extreme right-wing political parties, among which are analyzed the Workers' Party of Social Justice, National Democracy, Dawn - the National Coalition, Freedom And Direct Democracy - Tomio Okamura and the Citizens' Rights Party. Research data is collected from President Zeman's official communications channels and political parties, including official websites and social networks. Based on a discourse analysis of their political views, it is possible to compare President Zeman and the extreme right-wing parties to each topic and to conclude whether they speak the same or differently about these themes.

The result is a detailed description of the existing cooperation between individual people and institutions of power within the regime and its final character assessment accompanied by...
