Initially, were analyzed some alterations occurred in the manner of how the romance was narrated, that breaks with the traditional model and uses innovating narrative techniques such as, multiple voices, various time and spaces that intertwine and the predominance of the interchanged narrative. These new narrative techniques reflect the convincing manner and the fluctuant and fragmented reality that thrives in the world today. In the development of this analysis, we search to show that the modernist romance has gained a new profile. It is part of this the disappearance of the continuous narration in the discourse of the story. Its construction is done through different narrators, especially through those who that are done by the mental analysis. The use of the conscious flux (that puts in scene the chain of consciousness) serving of a time emanated of the character’s living, being, therefore, different of the chronological time, linear, that commands the development of the actions in the traditional romance. In the fictional universe of Veias e Vinhos, the focusing goes through the exterior world to the interior, making that the reading puts us in direct contact with the character’s living, that are fictionally represented in the work. And what we experiment, artistically, are the free association of ideas, chaotic psychic states of characters with psychological perturbances, all this conducting us to a permanent temporal and special flow. Evidently, in this case, that the modernist romance, unquestionably and low dynamics of contemporary life, to fictionalize the dynamism, multifaceted and fragmentariness that perms the present story. / O estudo aqui desenvolvido tem por foco examinar a elaboração dos elementos constitutivos do romance Veias e Vinhos, de Miguel Jorge. Inicialmente foram analisadas algumas alterações ocorridas no modo de narrar desse romance, que rompe com o modelo tradicional e usa técnicas narrativas inovadoras, como: múltiplas vozes, vários tempos e espaços que se interpenetram e o predomínio da narrativa intercalada. Essas novas técnicas narrativas refletem de maneira convincente a realidade flutuante e fragmentária que permeia o mundo atual. No desenvolvimento desta análise procuramos mostrar que o romance modernista ganhou novo perfil. Faz parte deste o desaparecimento da narração contínua no decurso da história. Sua tessitura faz-se por meio de diversos narradores, especialmente por meio daquelas que se fazem pela análise mental. O uso do fluxo da consciência (que coloca em cena a corrente da consciência) seve-se de um tempo emanado da vivência da personagem e é, portanto, diferente do tempo cronológico, linear, que comanda o desenrolar das ações no romance tradicional. No universo ficcional de Veias e Vinhos, a focalização passa do mundo exterior para o interior, fazendo que a leitura nos coloque em contato direto com a vivência das personagens, que aparecem ficcionalmente representadas na obra. E o que experimentamos, artisticamente, são as livres associações de ideias, estados psíquicos caóticos de personagens com perturbações psíquicas, tudo isto conduzindo-nos a uma permanente fluidez temporal e espacial. Evidencia-se, neste caso, que o romance modernista foge aos parâmetros de uma perspectiva determinada, inequívoca e pouco dinâmica da vida contemporânea, ao “ficcionalizar” o dinamismo, a multifacetação e fragmentariedade que permeiam a história presente.
