The aim of the diploma thesis submitted is preparation of project documentation for construction of new municipal authority building. The building will be situated in the center of municipality Dlha nad Kysucou. The building is divided into the municipality office and hall for social occasions. The building is detached, with partial basement and two floors. Small and large halls are situated on the ground floor. Municipality offices can be found on the first floor. Foundations of the building are formed by foundation strips of regular concrete. Wall construction system, Porotherm blocks are used for vertical structures of the building. Horizontal structures were built using celling panels Spiroll, made out of ferroconcrete. Flat single ply roof has standard order of layers.

This diploma thesis process design documentation of municipal authority building in Ivanovice na Háné, near Vyškov. The building is designed as two-floor free standing house, without basement on flat terrain, not surrounded by any objects. Floor plan is irregular, the height of building is different in some parts. The building has three provisionally parts, the municipal authority building, technical services and library. The construction system consists of full-wall wood panels Novatop. Project documentation was processed for realization building in computer program Archicad.

The aim of this thesis is to define methods and techniques of quality management as a tool for improving the efficiency of municipalities. The theoretical part deals with the concept of quality and its management, the European Union's attitude and the basic methods of quality management in municipalities. Especially, the method of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is discussed. Finally, the theoretical background characterizes the town of Sušice, its activity and the functional composition of the municipal authority in Sušice. In the practical part, the CAF model is implemented into the municipal authority in Sušice. It provides a report describing the results of self-assessment, information about the evaluation team, procedures and forms of assessment, and responses to the questions of the CAF model. The outcome includes the evaluation of individual criteria, the summary of results using the SWOT analysis and a draft of the improvement plan.

Автором работы были изучены подходы и модели продвижения территории, а также российский опыт продвижения городов. Автор разработал критерии эффективности деятельности департамента в этом направлении. Автор разработал управленческий план по усилению работы Информационно-аналитического департамента в направлении продвижения Екатеринбурга. / The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the Information and analytical Department of the Yekaterinburg administration to promote the territory, to develop a program to strengthen it. The author of the work studied the approaches and models of territory promotion, as well as the Russian experience of cities promotion. The author has established criteria for the effectiveness of the Department in this direction. The author has developed a management plan to strengthen the work of the Information and analytical Department in the direction of Yekaterinburg promotion.

The role of soft factors in the development of the inner periphery of the Eastern Bohemia Abstract In recent years, research on conditionality process of space polarization and regional development puts emphasis on understanding importance of endogenous and "soft" factors. General theories of regional development (formed mainly on the basis of evaluating "hard" data) are verified by frequent case studies because of their limited explanatory power. In these case studies, especially qualitative approaches of evaluation are applied. Influence and validity of "soft" factors significantly increases with decreasing hierarchical level, so it is desirable to conduct empirical research at the municipal level. Diploma thesis aims to analyze "soft" factors of regional development and understand the nature of differences in socio-economic development at the municipal level in the inner periphery of Bohemia. The thesis inquires into public administration activities in the sphere of advertising holiday destinations. It specifically concentrates on the approach of municipal authorities regarding utilization of modern technologies for the growth of the tourist industry and increase of public awareness of their towns. In the theoretical section, the role of public administration in tourism and advertising holiday destinations is described. It focuses on introducing particular methods and strategies that can be used by municipal authorities to publicise their territories, taking into account utilization of information and communication technologies. In the practical part, utilization of the delineated strategies is analysed for selected towns. The aim of the thesis is -- on the basis of this analysis -- to assess the approach of municipal authorities to modern forms of advertising holiday destinations.

The aim of the diploma work is a design of the Municipal House in the municipality of Habrovany u Vyškova. The building is designed in a gentle slope, the ground plan is irregular, the height of the object is different in the individual parts. The model of the building is a linear wall system.The building consists of three work sets which are the municipal authority, a fire station, and a cultural social hall. The municipal authority is a two-floor structure, the other rooms are one-floor ones. The fire station has a garage for two vehicles.

The thesis is developed in the form of project documentation containing all requirements according to applicable regulations. The project addresses the new building freestanding buildings, municipal office with an elementary school. The building is a partial basement, three floors and basement. In the basement is the technical background of the building, utility room, machine room and communication space. On the first floor there are areas of the municipal office, library, parent center and game room with toilets. The second and third floors above ground occupied spaces elementary school. On the second floor we find classrooms, changing rooms and toilets. On the third floor is a dining room, suite, staffroom teachers and toilets. The project also includes dispositional studies, two special projects, assessment of buildings and structures in terms of building physics, or fire safety design of the building.

The diploma thesis is called "Ethical context of the performance of child protection departments at the municipal authorities with extended powers". The aim of the thesis is to describe ethical dilemmas arising out of direct social work with minors and their families and contribute with an empirical qualitative research. The thesis is divided into seven main chapters, discussing child protection itself as well as ethical dilemmas and theoretical possibilities of support in working with ethical dilemmas. The main part of the thesis is a chapter on the perception and work with ethical dilemmas from the perspective of child protection social workers at the municipalities with extended powers. The outcome of the thesis is a reflection of selected ethical dilemmas from the perspective of both theory and practice. This reflection is discussed in the conclusion.

This dissertation studies the development of a regulation of prostitution in Stockholm during the period 1812-1880. The development of the regulation system is seen in the light of an analytical framework, developed from Carole Pateman's ideas on the sexual contract, and a feministic critique and elaboration of Jürgen Habermas's ideas on the public sphere. The regulation of prostitution was a common characteristic for many metropolises in Europe during the nineteenth century, where supposedly loose and lecherous women were medically and spatially controlled to impede the spread of venereal diseases. Stockholm, and Sweden as a whole, went from a non-gendered to a gendered control of venereal disease, which eventually developed into a spatial control of public women. This study argues that the practices of a regulation system was at first part of an attempt to import what was seen as part of modernisation. Rather than to prohibit extra-marital sexual relations, these were to be controlled and supervised. Eventually the system was adapted to local circumstances in Stockholm, and a control of women's sexuality in public became part of a metropolitan modernity. In the process of the professionalisation of groups such as the police and the physicians, public women were over time perceived as a group of professional prostitutes. The possibility to live off prostitution as a transitory stage in women's lives disappeared, and prostitution became a medically and spatially controlled trade.
