I denna studie har sju gymnasieelever intervjuats om hur de uppfattar sin språkliga prestation i muntlig gruppredovisning. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av intervjuer och är skriven ur ett social-psykologiskt perspektiv, alltså hur människor fungerar i samspel med andra. Resultatet pekar på att eleverna uppfattar det som att deras språk förändras beroende på om redovisningen sker i grupp eller individuellt med läraren. Ingen av eleverna tyckte att språket blev mer formellt eller korrekt i grupp, medan de flesta uppfattade det som att språket blir mer korrekt och formellt när redovisningen sker enbart för läraren. Resultatet indikerar också på att elever med låg självkänsla helst redovisar i grupp medan de med hög självkänsla helst redovisar enbart framför läraren. Det behövs dock ytterligare forskning för att få fram ett mer allmänt och generaliserande resultat. / This study has investigated seven upper-secondary students’ perception on how their language is affected depending on if they give their oral presentation in groups or individually for the teacher. Seven upper-secondary students have been interviewed and the study is based on their answers and on previous research. The results show that all the students in this study think that their language change depending on the form of the presentation. No one of the students think that their language is more formal and correct in a group presentation. All students but one thinks that the language is more formal and correct when they give their oral presentation individually in front of the teacher. The results also show that the students with high self-esteem prefer to give their oral presentation in front of just the teacher, while the students with low self-esteem prefers to give their oral presentations in groups. However, more research needs to be done on the subject to give a more generalized result.
