Uppsatsen är en metodbeskrivning av musikterapimetoden Mötas i Musik (MiM) som har genomförts inom Vuxenhabiliteringen i Region Örebro län och riktats till personer med diagnos inom Autismspektrumtillstånd (AST) och normal begåvning. Syftet med uppsatsen är att med stöd av grundad teori kartlägga, beskriva och analysera musikterapimetoden MiM. Resultatet visar att innehållet i MiM kan beskrivas utifrån kärnkategorin mötet och underkategorierna struktur, inbjudan, deltagande, samspel, utmaning, anpassning, trygghet, mod samt delad glädje. Avslutningsvis diskuteras innehållet i MiM i relation till andra musikterapeutiska metoder, hur MiM kan möta de svårigheter som är vanligt förekommande hos personer med diagnos inom AST och normal begåvning samt hur innehållet i MiM kan ses i ljuset av uppsatsens teoretiska referensram Symbolisk interaktionism. / The essay is a method description of the music therapy method Meeting in Music (MiM) that has been carried out within the Adult Habilitation Unit at Region Örebro County. The method focused on individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) with normal intelligence. The aim of the essay is to, using grounded theory, map, describe and analyze the music therapy method MiM. The result showed that the contents in MiM can be described based on the core category meeting and sub-categories structure, invitation, participation, interaction, challenge, adjustment, security, courage and shared joy. The content in MiM is discussed in relation to other music therapy methods, how MIM can meet the difficulties that are common among individuals with ASD with normal intelligence and how MiM can be viewed in the light of the theoretical framework Symbolic interactionism.
