Presented diploma thesis deals with issues of marital migration in early modern town milieu. By quantitative analysis of written records of marriage contracts and parish registers from Náchod domain (Eastern Bohemia), marriages of Nachod burghers with persons from other localities are tracked. Initially the town itself and the domain of the same name, constituting its hinterland, is characterized by their population and administrative and economic conditions. Then the marital migration is examined by sex and marital status of immigrants, distance and legal status of the place of their origin, or proportion of migration across the boundary of the domain. Apart from the pursuite to describe the main features of the migration phenomenon, the attention is focused on its consequences, which are the issues of integration of immigrant into the community of the town. The final part of the thesis deals with some qualitative aspects of marital migration and its reflection in contemporary ego-documents. The thesis deals with the theme of social groups of individuals, historically known as "disreputable people", among whom the executioners, knackers and bailiffs belonged. The main aim is to capture the social status of these people, who are historiographically considered as the individuals standing on the lowest rung of the social ladder. Detailed analysis of the sources of urban provenance is to show both the interaction of this group and its individuals with the rest of the urban community, especially with individuals considered as honorable, and also the everyday life of disreputable people in the urban environment. The thesis is divided into three parts, which are further thematically divided. The first part shows the theoretical and methodological level with an emphasis on previous studies dealing with the phenomenon of honor and also issues of discreditable people and of capital punishment. The following two parts contain an analysis of the situation of dishonourable people in the East Bohemian town of Pardubice in 17th century and because of the necessary comparison of regional differences, there was also the research of analogous conditions of another East Bohemian town Náchod included. The diploma thesis follows up the area in the center of Náchod along the former textile factory Tepna, which is located at the transition between the historical center and the housing estate. The proposal is based on problem analysis and uses the potential, limits and quailities of the area. The concept is a new urban quarter with a residential block of buildings complemented by civic amenities and high-quality public spaces. The design preserves the existing building of the Bílá Tepna, for which a new functional use is proposed. The proposal is solved with respect to the character of the place, the connection to the surrounding buildings and the emphasis on the preference of pedestrian traffic over the automobile traffic.

Capital jurisdiction, criminality and everyday life on domain of Náchod and in king's town Nymburk between the years 1513-1618 In this diploma paper I dealt with criminality and everyday life on the early modern domain of Náchod and in the king's town Nymburk between the years 1513-1620. Firstly I tried to describe how the town councils worked and with which central regulations they operated. Secondly I did the statistic quatification of all criminal delicts which are mentioned in "pitch" or "black" books of Náchod and Nymburk and other materials of court provenance. Then I compared court causes from other "pitch"/ "black" books which were published in the past with material from Náchod's and Nymburk's archive. I managed to use modern historical methods such as microhistory and historical anthropology to show which postures took early modern society to different types of criminal delicts or problematic phenomenona like sexual life before marriage, suicide, rape or witchcraft. In connection with this I tried to clear up why were criminal delicts like infanticide or witchcraft punished with such a brutal death penalty. Unemployment has begun to be considered as a European problem since the early nineties, when a coordination of activities in the social field at the EU-level has also gradually started. Since that time, spending on the social policy from the EU budget has been constantly rising, but, as shown in this thesis, the situation on the European labour market has not been significantly improved. This is illustrated also by the fact that any from the EU employment targets from the Lisbon strategy has not been until now met. The most important instrument of the EU-Employment policy is the European Social Fund (ESF). Because its expenditures on the Czech Employment policy are constantly increasing, it is necessary to ask whether it improves a condition of a labour market. Moreover, if nowadays contributions from the ESF represent the majority of expenditure on the Czech active labour market policy (ALMP) carried out by particular labour offices. Analytic part of this thesis focuses on the evaluation of the ALMP, which is financed from the Czech state budget as well as from the ESF and which is implemented by the particular labour office - in the region of Nachod. According to a similar analyses, programmes of a subsidised employment shows the highest effectiveness also in the district of Nachod, while direct job creation schemes and retraining courses contribute to reducing unemployment only to a limited extent.

The purpose of the master thesis is the Residential house, Nachod - Tepenska. The building is situated near by the city center of Nachod. It contains 6 floors. In the first floor there are two comercial areas, technical room and parking lot. The roof of parking lot serves as a terace for the second floor. In other floors are situated flats. Whole building is covered by flat roof. The ETICS is applied. The insulation from mineral wool is used. The master thesis includes the blue prints of the building.

The aim of this master´s thesis is the system of the urban planning. It describes its means, remedies, process and formation. The thesis maps options of the public to influence this processes. It contains teoretical examples as well as practical.

This thesis deals with the problem of the Velvet revolution in a small provincial town called Náchod. My purpose is to describe the political situation before the revolution, during it and after the revolution ended. I used two methods for my research. First of them was regular text analysis of documents in archives and the second source I used was the method of Oral history. Oral history enriches us with knowledge of living witnesses who help us understand reasons, motivations and feelings of people who took part in an important part of our history, which Velvet revolution surely is. To understand them even better I shortly described their life stories and their position during the revolution. I made life story interviews with 4 members of the Czechoslovak Communist Party and with 5 members of the Civic Forum. So we can hear opinions of both considered sides. At the end of the thesis I compared my conclusions with the conclusion doc. PhDr. Lukáš Valeš, Ph.D. made in his dissertation describing Velvet revolution in a small provincial town Klatovy. At the end I came to a conclusion that Velvet revolution changed political status of Czechoslovakia and its economy but the same people remained powerful.

The thesis deals with the design of the area after the former brownfield of Tepna Náchod. The aim of the thesis is activate the territory, to revive the city center and to design the buildings in connection with the historical center and the chateau with a suitable functional structure, responding to the city's shortcomings. The proposal respects the character of the place trying to prefer pedestrian and cycling – pedestrian zones, cycling zones. The concept is based on the maximum use of built-up areas in the designed area and on the permeability of the entire area, the interconnection of three squares and the creation of a new public space. Furthermore, the concept responds to the historical city center and the chateau hill - views, perspective axes. Newly designed buildings are residential buildings with active parterres, administrative building for research and development, multi-purpose hall, retirement home, kindergarten, federal house and parking house. The new development clearly defines the street network. Part of the design is the planting of a park under the chateau hill with the revival of the trough of the Plhovsky´s stream.
