Wellness centrum v Ostravě / Wellness centre in Ostrava

The Master’s Thesis deals with the design of a wellness centre and guesthouse in Ostrava. The building is in the shape of letter V with a cut corner. The wellness part consists of one and two above-ground floors and the guesthouse consists of three. The guesthouse has eleven accommodation units. Five of the units are equipped with balconies of reinforced concrete. All roof planes have a 15° slope, are non-walkable and covered by a shed roof. The supporting structure is longitudinal with cross reinforcing walls. The whole structure is made of ceramic bricks. The building does not have any basement and stands on base belts.

Master's thesis deals with design and static solution of foundation slab of mountain hotel. Two calculation versions are made – simplified („inverse ceiling“) and calculation using software RF-SOILIN. This thesis also includes a comparison of both results. Reinforcement is designed for more accurate internal forces and the assessment of structure is performed according to the 1st limit state of capacity.

The purpose of this thesis is to create design and static assessment of the viewing tower in western Jeseníky mountains. The Ground plan is formed by regular hexagon with outer diameter 0.8 meter. Glued laminated profiles, steel tubes and elements of solid wood were predominantly used for the construction of the building. The viewing tower has four viewing platforms and total high of the structure is 28.5 meters.

This master's thesis covers the construction analysis of an escalator by the Otis a.s. company and the conception of its modernization called "In-truss".This type of modernization consists in preserving the supporting construction of the 506-type escalator into which the components of newer 506-NCE series are to be built in. Such operation requires modifying the construction and creating adaptors used to anchor the new components to it. These modifications lead to the stress testing of the construction, that is done by using the finite elements method in NX-Ideas software. The thesis contains the design of selected subsystems of the escalator, the stress testing of the new supporting construction and the creation of volume model in CREO-Parametric application for further use.

The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of steel construction of the shopping center in Chrudim in Pardubice region. Business center was designed as a three-aisled with a common space in the middle. Each hall has a platform 48.0 meters x 63.0 meters, shared space is a ground plan the shape of an equilateral triangle with sides of 48.0 meters. The construction of halls in the transverse direction comprises three trusses. The two beams are to span 20.0 meters and a span of one to 8.0 meters. Clearance height ranges from 8.0 to 10.0 m. The main structure is made of rectangular hollow sections, tubes of circular profiles and will be awarded. The axial distance trusses is 7.0 meters.

The theses is focused on the use of PLC technology. The aim of the thesis is creating device which communicates in a narrowband transmission frequency band. Transmission of communication between plc elements runs through the low voltage distribution network. The frequency and phase modulations are used in order to change the character of data signal. Transmitter and receiver parameters are subjects to the CENELEC standard. The theses gives more attention to the area of hardware build communication element rather than the area of programming.
