The theme of my graduation thesis is {\clqq}Community association usable for resolution of emergency events and crisis situations`` and I have choosen that because of its important. I almost was not able to imagine how spread theme this is. I have known some Community associations in the Czech Republic but I have never known more information about its work expect they work to help people in emergency events and crisis situations. That`s all. Nowadays we all meet strange situations and risks almost every day. It can be caused by human factor (wildfire, outflow chemicals) or by nature`s effects (earthquake, strong storm, flood) and we all are unprotected. And we also don{\crq}t know when human factor or nature`s effects attack again. In these situations we have some State Services which constitute Crisis management and Integration Rescue System to analyse, solve and to help people in these situations. Next help for people affected by emergency events and crisis situations are Community associations usable for their resolutions. And this is the most important point my work is all about. All af these associations are made to help people. That is the main reason to rise it. My work in my graduation thesis is to analyse out present-day situation and methods of registered procedures. I wanted to discover people{\crq}s awareness and knowledges about these associations and finally to evaluate time behaviour of the real situation with model simulations.

This diploma thesis is focused on the relation between values and politics in the western societies of Europe and The USA. It points out the status and role of religion in the society and compares the current secularization tendencies in Western Europe against the role of traditions in American society determined by civil religion. The study maps the influence of enlightenment on the forming of democracies, then the totalitarianisms of the 20th century and both the secularization and de-secularization in the last decades. It analyses the discussion about the role of values and civil society in secularized Europe. Finally, it describes the importance of religion for American citizens and its penetration of their entire lives both socially and culturally.

Subject of the solution master´s thesis is new civil building. It is five floors building with underground floor. The structual system is made by combination of RC frame and loadbearing masonry with monoplane roof. In underground floor is a garage. In First floor is designed for commercial and comunal activities. In next floors there is always 8 flats. Building is located in straight terrain in the development area of new houses in Zlin in area Bartosova.

This thesis focuses on the steps that are necessary for the establishment of the civic association and follow-up activities done by the Association upon registration at the Ministry of the Interior. Theoretical resources are devoted to accounting, tax and financing especially. The practical part contains analysis of the current situation of the association. The findings are applied to the facts. The result of this thesis are proposals for further steps that increase the professionalism of the association and it will contribute to a better management of the acquired funds of the association.

This master thesis concerns a transformation of the civil association into one of the legal forms, which were created along with the new civil code. A various analysis of transformation criteria have to be done, in order to decide which legal form is suitable. The tax impacts are one of the major criteria and therefore they are analysed separately. A recommendation of specific legal form and identification of regarding tax impacts are the main goals of this thesis.

This diploma thesis is dealing with motivations of employees and volunteers to work in organization of civil society. The aim of the thesis was to compare motivations of employees and volunteers working in the particular organization of civil society and to find out if and eventually how, the volunteer and employee management's styles vary. The theoretical part focuses on the main theories of motivation and motivation strategies. The research was a case study of the civil society organization, which specify on the care of seniors. The thesis may be used by the organization for a feedback and it may bring some advices regarding workers motivations. The aim of the thesis is to describe the role of a sample of NGOs in the process of changing the current situation in the field of palliative care in the Czech Republic. The essence of palliative care is to ensure the highest possible quality of life for the patient and his family. The present state of care is not sufficient for the number of palliative beds or home care service teams to meet the needs of an aging Czech population. Almost the exclusive care provider are NGOs, which also take on the role of initiator of a change in the persistent situation. Based on the data from semi-structured interviews with ten respondents, the thesis method of the case study reveals what is causing the unsatisfactory situation, what proposals its solutions civil society offers and what range of means to achieve change.

This Master's thesis focuses on accountability, which is understood as a relation between an actor and an external forum. The actor is accountable to the forum which means the actor must explain and justify their actions. This thesis regards as actors civil society organizations that provide social services. The thesis explores what forms of accountability are employed in annual reports of civil society organisations that provide social services during Petr Nečas' government and using which discourses. The era of Petr Nečas' government is considered to be an era of neoliberal reforms. The method used in this thesis is Critical Discourse Analysis by Norman Fairclough. The thesis identifies bureaucratic discourse as the dominant and discourse of civil society as the minority. Being accountable through beraucratic discourse serves for legitimizing an organisation. Civil society discourse reflects and forms identities of organizations.

The present master's thesis deals with the issue of non-formal non-vocational adult education occurring in particular during leisure time of individuals. The objective of the present study is the analysis of the current outlook of the informal education of adults outside working activities in the Czech Republic. The study has focused on the level of participation of the adults in the non-formal non-vocational education as well as the provision of the offer of educational activities. First of all, the thesis has focused on definition, functions as well as the utilisation of leisure time by the adults as well as determination of the non-formal education. Furthermore, the focus has been laid to adult leisure education and adult citizenship education, in particular their goals, the content and forms as well as the participation of adults in the non-formal non- vocational education, the offer and institutions that provide this education. The object of this study is the creation, activity and termination of Občanské fórum (OF) in the central Bohemia city Slaný. The OF in Slaný was established after the general strike on 27th November 1989 at home of one of the founders. Other OF were created spontaneously in the workplace and in schools and gradually merged into the urban OF. In the early days the dialogue was the priority, members of OF Slaný called for discussion by their deputies in the local national committee. The main objective is to clarify the activities of OF and its influence on events in Slaný in November and the days following. Many different people with different interests, motivations and desires came and left the OF. And it influenced his future direction and impact on the political scene in Slaný. Without the establishment of the OF it would be more difficult to put pressure on city officials to allow access to the administration for the non-communist parties. The parties and movements have been isolated. The OF was able to unify the parties and joint efforts have produced results.
