This thesis is devoted to the visual components of textbooks of Czech for foreigners. The five selected textbooks are investigated incidence of certain types of visual components, their position in the textbooks and the frequency of occurrence of these types. The aim of this work is to determine what specific visual aids in textbooks Czech for foreigners appear and whether they are used functionally or not, and give an idea of the form of the visual component of textbooks Czech for foreigners. The questionnaire, which was attended by teachers of Czech as a foreign language, should contribute to this outline. Their task was to evaluate the visual amenities of textbooks Czech for foreigners who are most frequently used in teaching. The first chapter is devoted to the textbook as a didactic resource function including textbooks in foreign language teaching and research textbooks at home and abroad. Attention is focused on the design concept of visual means to learning from visual material and finally the creation of categorical systems under which they were selected textbooks analyzed. Numerous movable books, the so-called pop-ups, are being ascribed to Vojtěch Kubašta (7th ofOctober1914-7th ofJuly1992),anartist,whospentmostofhislifeinPrague.Majority of these titles were published out of Czechoslovakia - in other European countries, in the United Kingdom, but also in more distant Iran or Japan. Kubašta had a unique ability of transforming one plain sheet of paper into an elaborate three-dimensional scene just by cutting and folding its surface on the right places. This artistry of the Czechoslovakian illustrator and paper engineer made him famous and successful all over the world except in his home country. His books are being collected and exhibited, but the very personality of the man, who worked even for Walt Disney, is yet to be discovered. This thesis will examine the life and work of Vojtěch Kubašta. The focus of the text will be the form of his movable fairy tales and their impact on the reader. The diploma thesis deals with the research of CIS sensors, their parameters and market research. It contains a comparison between sensors and line cameras, which are used for similar purposes, therefore in this case for scanning the packaging material. The diploma thesis contains the described construction of the device, including the assembly of components and the design of boards. The work describes in detail the image processing from the CIS sensor and various image preprocessing. There is also described method of defect detection, including their distribution and individual approach to each type of defect. The thesis contains a description of the GUI, including its functions and connection to the application dealing with image processing.

This diploma thesis deal with tree genetic programming algorithm. This idea is applied for solving symbolic regression tasks as well designs image filters. At first are introduced a basic concept of genetic programming and reduction of solution space. The next part presents own implementation and achieved results. Result of this work is modular system for making image filters define by specific parameters.

The diploma thesis called Visual Style of the National Geographic Magazine (1914, 1964, 2014) is focused on the visual part of this American monthly magazine, that is renowned for its long-standing photography tradition. In the theoretical part the historic development of the National Geographic monthly magazine is summarized, characteristic features of its photographs are defined and compared to the different photographic genres. With relation to the magazine, issues of visual gatekeeping are discussed. The theoretical part is accompanied by examples of published photo manipulations and a chapter about the image-text relation is provided. The analytical part aims at the development of photographic techniques and photographic content in the selected years 1914, 1964 and 2014. Using the method of content analysis this work deals with over 1000 photographs and allocates them in different coding categories. It is explored which category or characteristic features were typical for each period, for example in connection with gender, locations or the way of capturing the image. The results of content analysis are put into context by semiotic study which is based on the methods of philosopher Roland Barthes. Tato práce se zabývá výběrem vhodného obrazového snímače pro použití v kameře snímající rostliny ve vysokém rozlišení a návrhem vhodného obvodu pro propojení vybraného snímače (SONY IMX253) s vývojovou deskou Avnet MicroZed. Tato práce pojednává o jednotlivých parametrech obrazových snímačů podle kterých je vybírán vhodný obrazový snímač. Je vysvětlen proces výběru vhodného obrazového snímače a podrobněji popsány parametry vybraného snímače. Je naznačena problematika návrhu elektroniky a plošných spojů z hlediska požadavků vysokorychlostních obvodů a citlivých a specifických součástek jako je obrazový snímač. Je nastíněna konfigurace a programování obvodu Xilinx Zynq a nakonec je provedeno zjednodušené teoretické ověření funkčnosti navrženého modulu.

The objective of Master’s Thesis is to research the utilization of line optical sensors for object location´s and speed measurement in cooperation with PROTOTYPA company. At the beginning of the Thesis there is an explanation of CCD sensor components and photodiods working principals. Further are discussed particular methods of object sensing. There are schematics of different sensor locations and flying object. The other step deals with introduction to the question of ray impact on sensor in the way of using different light sources and optical systems. In the other part of the Thesis are presented two sensors, which have been chosen by PROTOTYPA company workers. Final part of the Thesis deals with description of executed experimental measurement with LCCD 2048S-14 type of sensor. Experiments are aimed for statical and dynamical processes. In statical part was checked displaying of fixed objects on CCD sensor in internal spaces on the assumption that changing of object-lens focalization, object´s high and shape. For the evaluation was used of MATLAB program. Dynamical part of measurement is aimed for moving objects.

The aim of this Master’s thesis is to develop a theoretical introduction to the issue of the image flow time sampling, taking into account the various factors that affect sampling. Furthermore, there is proposed idea diagram of the model, which will simulate the events described, and created the model in the programming environment Matlab. Finally, there are defined the labs that will support teaching dealing with the imaging systems.

This thesis studies aspects influencing image quality 3D TV systems. Thesis is focused on comparing TV´s of the same brand with different diagonals and compares the change in perception of the evaluators by this parameter. The basic evaluated parameters are image depth, contrast, color rendition, image crossover and overall impression. Describes the creation of testing sequences for subjective tests, testing and evaluation of testing.

This diploma thesis deals with an image capturing by a CMOS image sensor and controlling of graphical LCD displays using specialized integrated circuits. A theoretical research on the topic and design of the system designed for ease of processing, transmitting and still images displaying based on this research is described in this work. The output of the work is complete the device realized.
