This thesis presents an overview of the history, occurrence and claims for environmental and agricultural technologies in growing the type and contains of fruit substances. In addition, the literature review describes the laborious harvest, many species, but also a wide range of options for how to use the buckthorn. A part of the study was to compare returns from species (´Hergo´, ´Vitamínová´, ´Buchlovický´, ´Leicora´) and on this basis recommend the species, which are suitable for cultivation in Czech republic. Moreover external parameters were compared and the substances contained in the fruits of different species. This made it possible to compare the species with the highest and lowest solid, refractive solids, vitamin C, carotenoids and simultaneously fruits with the largest and smallest length, width and also with highest and lowest weight.

The diploma thesis on The use of selected model vegetable species follows the bachelor thesis Possibilities of using the species Scorzonera hispanica L. from 2015. First part of this thesis looked into available information about this vegetable and was focused more closely on substances contained in it. The practical part of the experiment consisted of field trial and laboratory experiment. The field section used was divided into four variants, where the influence of irrigation and fertilization on the morphological and nutritional parameters was monitored. Morphological parameters and content of the black salsifies were determined in the laboratory experiment. The statistical evaluation showed positive effect of irrigation on higher levels of potassium, phosphorus and inulin. Variants without irrigation contained more fiber, magnesium and nitrates. Different processing methods of black salsify were used to determine inulin. Most inulin was found in the frozen variety and the least in cooked. To examine the possibility of introducing a black salsify into gastronomic facilities, a black salsify product was created and engaged in gastronomy for one month.

This thesis deal with comparison of czech and asian varietal range of kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala). A practical experiment was divided into two parts. Evaluation of yield parameters and evaluation of contents of selected substances. It was totaly evaluated three varietes from czech range and one variet from asian. Asian variety has been assessed as generally robust variety, with firm struscture, high cont ent of solids and the lowest fiber content. This variety excelled with highest content of vitamin C and magnesium. Only variety 'Rednex' excelled with economic return from czech range.

The aim of this master thesis is to compare cultivars of asparagus lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. angustana L. H. Bailey) and Indian lettuce (Lactuca indica L.). Five cultivars of asparagus lettuce and one cultivar of Indian lettuce were included in the experiment. Morphological parameters, yields and content substances (vitamin C, carotenoids, nitrates and dry matter) were evaluated. The experiment was successfully carried out on the grounds of the Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice in years 2015 and 2016. Contents of vitamin C, carotenoids, nitrates and dry matter were subsequently evaluated in a laboratory. The share of domestic production in the total consumption of vegetables in the Czech Republic could be enhanced by expanding the range of other, valuable, Asian asparagus and Indian lettuces.

The first part of the Master’s thesis describes the history and the present of milk thistle growing in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the paper describes the biological characteristics, the varieties, phytochemistry and the use of this crop. The thesis in detail deals with the cultivation technology requirements. The classification of milk thistle in sowing procedure, tillage, nutrition, treatment during the vegetation period, harvest and post-harvest treatment of this crop are described. The second part of the thesis describes the course of weather and the growing procedure for this crop in the company Netis, a.s. Dry matter, purity, TKW, bulk density, germinability, oiliness and representation of individual components of the silymarin complex were determined in milk thistle achene samples. The experimental data found during the “first” cultivation at Netis, a.s. were evaluated in terms of the economy of cultivation. The economy of cultivation was compared with that of the traditional grower Agrospol, a.d. Knínice. The economy of milk thistle cultivation at Netis, a.s. was compared with that of other crops grown there.

The Diploma work based upon a topic Technology of growing and possibilities of usage of species Scorzonera hispanica L. presents and evaluates in its literary part still known information about possibilities of growing, content substances and possibilities of usage of Scorzonera hispanica L.. The practical part of the work describes an experiment, which was created in 2014 in property in region of Bohemia Moravian Highlands. The experiment consisted of making two different agrotechnical methods of growing and two harvests and following comparison from perspective of crop and nutritional value. On the foundations of the statistical evaluation, an influence of chosen agrotechnical method of growing on crop, content of solids, sodium and magnesium was proved. The date of the harvest influenced content of sodium, calcium and magnesium. Possibilities of use of Scorzonera hispanica L. were checked by degustation and marketing research, when interest in these species of root vegetable was proved.

The topic of this diploma thesis is Floricultural qualities evaluation of chosen Chilli peppers in the Southern Moravia conditions. This thesis deals with chilli pappus capsicum family. The first part of study involves historical chilli pappers origin and the sekond part focuses on evaluative floricultural values experimental and substances of chilli pappus. This thesis was elaborated in cooperation with World of chilli s.r.o.

This diploma thesis “Evaluation of growth and qualitative parameters of chosen chilli peppers varieties” is about the comparison of the cultivars of chilli peppers. There have been 13 cultivars involved in the experiment. The first part of the thesis is about literary overview about the technology of growing. In the second, experimental part, the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the varieties have been evaluated – product, growth and contents substances (vitamin C, capsaicin, dry basis) of the plants. The experiment was successfully conducted in cooperation with the company World of chilli, s.r.o. in 2018 and subsequently it was evaluated in the laboratory of ZF Mendela in Lednica.

The aim of the thesis titled "Substances contained in Plants of the Nightshade Family (Solanaceae) and their Usage in Biology Teaching" is to familiarize the reader with basic toxicological and pharmacological terms contained in the information on Nightshade plants (Solanaceae). Further it introduces Nightshade plants (Solanaceae) and their substances in more detail. It describes the use and abuse of these plants in poisoning, usage in traditional medicine, homeopathy and modern medicine. It outlines the history of the use and especially abuse of plants containing alkaloids. It also describes options for didactic use through laboratory work and assesses and compares the quality of information available in the literature for high school students. Information contained in this work can be practically used in teaching subjects such as toxicology, pharmacology and pharmacognosy at secondary schools with focus on the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Autodesk Inventor is a full 3D CAD system. This system includes tools for working environment tool, component design tool including information data management and technical support. The target of the first part is to describe the most important new features brought by Autodesk Inventoru 2009 version. In of next chapters the work describes creation common iPart, which is basically different variants set (proportions, material …) of one entity, and preparation before correct publication to the content center, which is a virtual database of all iPart. Also there is presented how to create the content center, how to work with it and adjust data. The aim of work is then the creation database a stator and a rotor packet for the firm ATAS electromotor Náchod Inc. In the thesis there is described creation of the lamination as an iPart and their publication to the new content center.
