The paper deals with the current form of organizational arrangement of environmental protection in the City of Prague at the level of districts, administrative wards and municipality. It assesses the effectiveness of organizational arrangement and shows disunity of organizational structure. Describes the process of decision making. The paper finds unsatisfactory state, which, however, no one has addressed so far. It analyzes possible solutions and presents options of optimal solution and approach consisting in a reduction of municipalities themselves within the reform of public administration, or in a transfer of execution of public administration to a higher level -- i.e. the administrative ward. It also deals with a number of other related issues, such as administrative workload of staff members and proposes, among other things, to desist from not necessary activities. The text does not assess directly the actual economic effectiveness of the work, for which much more data would be required.

Teachers might find some interesting tasks including various metric problems from the field of synthetic geometry as well as inference of mathematic equations for calculation circumferences and areas of plane figures which are taught at elementary schools and high schools. Pupils can appreciate solved tasks and their knowledge can be applied to other similar tasks. The ninth chapter includes more difficult tasks. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to compare two circuits designed for LED powering with output current of units of Amperes. Both circuits are based on step-down converter topology, one with technology of synchronous rectifying and the other one without it. Calculations and selection of used components with real prototypes were made for both selected circuits. All selected components meet automotive qualification requirements for discrete products. Produced prototypes were compared in terms of functionality, efficiency, EMC and thermal radiation.

This work deals with collecting updated information about fruit trees and their occurance. Details from this work are collected via database of Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic. Update of 15 specific fruit trees is contained in this work, focusing on the Age of the trees, circumference of their stem, and for how long they had status of Memorable tree. The chapter "Results" contains recent measurements and photo documentation to this date, spring 2017.

The aim of this work is to realize and test a prototype portable source for induction heating of small parts. The project contains a theoretical basis of resonant circuits and induction heating. The device design is based on simulation results from the FEMM program, with which a focussing coil for induction heating has been designed. The parts of the thesis are the realization of the designed device, its putting into operation and the programming of the control.

This thesis proposes control circuit, that will be used in laboratory stand. The first part contains components that interact with the control circuit. The second part deals with the actual design of the control circuits, their design, appropriate selection of components and wiring. Third part deals with the assembly of the entire device and its commissioning.

In my thesis I am studying and analyzing a long time monitoring of physical growth of children from 6 to 15 years. There were selected children of both genders from the whole database monitoring children and there is noticed physical growth into individual growth curves. The evaluation of individuals was about these physical parameters: body height, body weight, Body Mass Index, abdominal circumference, gluteal circumference and subscapular skinfold.

This work deals with design of battery management system. Requirements for battery management system and its conception is discussed in the first part of the work. System is able to disconnect load or charger from battery using MOS-FET transistors. It measures battery cell's voltages and is capable of passive balancing. Microcontroller is used for data processing and system control. Schematics, printed circuit board layout and control algorithm was designed. Prototype of the battery management system was then manufactured and tested.

The aim of the dissertation is to create a prototype of an educational game which should help students with the choice of future their studies. To this end, the game introduces the topic of logic systems in a non-threating interactive way with clear illustrative examples. The theoretical part of the work deals with the background knowledge necessary in order to design the game. It explains logic systems, gates, flip-flop circuits, and explores various aspects of game genres with primary focus on puzzle games and their history. In addition, the dissertation presents some of the issues related to cross-platform development of games for both mobile and computer platforms, and provides brief descriptions of several popular cross-platform libraries. Lastly, the work introduces and compares several chosen applications created as a supplementary material for teaching logic system.

In the Czech Republic occurred a change of lifestyle in recent decades, there was an increase in the prevalence of overweight and obesity, and even for preschool children. With these changes can be related as well as the increasing number of children with bad posture. The aim of this research was to analyze weight parameters, body composition, fat distribution and its effect on posture in preschool children. Another aim was compare different methods for calculating the amount of body fat and see if it show the same clinical validity. Furthemore, we compared the measurement of the abdominal circumference with waist circumference in absolute and in relative form, these parameters are often used interchangeably. They are usedto detect fat distribution and estimate the amount of body fat. To determine the distribution of fat is also used centrality indices, which we also compared with abdominal and waist circumference. Our aim was also to evaluate the clinical validity in determining the type of fat distribution. The study included 208 children (101 boys, 107 girls) aged three to six years, most of Prague and its surroundings. Comparing the SDS BMI and weight - height ratio showed a statistically significant difference between the set 2013 and standard. The difference in the values of BMI (p = 0,0006)...
