Celulární automat v evolučním procesu / Cellular Automaton in Evolutionary Process

The aim of this master's theses it to focuse on the usage of genetic algorithms in combination with a technique of biologically inspired development in cellular automata. The principles of the proposed method is described. The main part of this work deals with the design of combinational logic circuits. The genetic algorithm is utilized to design a nonuniform one-dimensional cellular automaton (in particular, the local transition functions) which serves as a circuit generator. Experiments have been conducted to design of basic types of combinational circuits and polymorphic circuits. Finally, the results are presented and compared with the results obtained in the previous work in which a uniform cellular automaton was applied.

This diploma thesis deals with one of the most important parts of land consolidation, namely the circuit of land consolidation, in particular the border course investigation and geodetic activities. The circuit of land consolidation defines which land in the cadastral area enters into land consolidation and which does not. For this reason it is very important to determine and investigate the border of land consolidation, in order to achieve an undeniable technical and legal determination of this border. This is necessary for further investigations into land consolidation, in particular the creation of claims and the calculation of correction coefficients. The border of land consolidation consists of the future digital map with the existing cadastral map. Correct examination of the border of the land consolidation is therefore necessary for the smooth connection of cadastral maps. The subject of this diploma thesis deals with complex land consolidation in the cadastral area Kočín, located near Temelín.

This work deals with verification possibilities of integrated circuits, especially with hardware emulation. The first part of the text briefly describes designing process of an integrated circuit, which includes emulation using emulation platforms. The main part of this work deals with the innovation of the emulation platform, which is used by SCG Czech Design Center s. r. o. Possible ways to improve the current emulation platform are explored and further taken into account when designing a universal emulation platform. Last part of this work deals with functional verification of the proposed universal emulation platform. Functionality will be verified by emulation of the basic control functions of the NCP1246 circuit.

Kavitace na mikrofluidické clonce / Cavitation in microfluidic orifice

This diploma thesis deals with cavitation flow in the microscale, which remains an area with a lack of sufficient description of this phenomenon. At the same time, microfluidics is a field experiencing a dramatic rise in numerous biochemical applications, which underlines the relevance of researches of this type. In theoretical part of the thesis, cavitation was described in detail. In the practical part, a microfluidic device with a cavitation orifice was designed and manufactured. The ANSYS program was used for this design. An experiment was performed with the designed microchip, the aim of which was to observe a cavitating flow on the orifice. This measurement took place at the microfluidic laboratory at Victor Kaplan Department of Fluid Engineering. Due to the failure of the experiment, a CFD model of two-phase cavitation flow was built. The conclusions of the thesis were compiled from the findings of measurement and the results of modeling.

The diploma thesis is dealing with the area of controlling and safety technology for the railway transportation. The problems of the design and practical realization of an functional sample of switching unit supplying the ends of a track circuit are solved here. The switching unit enables the operation of the train control system. The outline of the design is formed by a power switch operated with a microprocessor. In addition, for the increase in safety the switching unit contains a control processor, which is controlling the right function of a work microprocessor and the failure-free state of a power switch.

Generátor polyfázové modulace radarového signálu / Polyphase modulation generator for radar signal

The goal of the theses is to propose an idea for a generator of a radar polyphase modulated signal, that will operate at a frequency of 30 MHz. At the beginning of this project, an outline of the basic structure of the generator is proposed and a function of a programable logical perimeter is analyzed. This perimeter, together with an oscillator, generate two mutually phase-shifted rectangular pulses in its outputs. The shift phase of these two pulses is set by a program, and operated by single-chip processor. Those pulses are consequently converted to sinusoidal wave with the help of filters, and the required phase is chosen by the multiplexer, which is also operated by the processor. The phase modulation is realized this way. The output signal of the generator is radiopulse, which subpulses are phase modulated by the described method. Individual parts are solved analogously in this Theses.

The primary objective of the thesis is a project of simulation environment in the programme Agilent VEE Pro 8.0. The programme enables a simulation of I-U characteristics of real photovoltaic panels.
