Sledování vlivu olověných potrubí na kvalitu pitné vody u spotřebitele / Monitoring the effect of lead pipes on drinking water quality for consumersVostrčilová, Markéta January 2018 (has links)
The thesis is divided into several parts. At first, there are written information from the laws and decrees concerning the lead pipeline, drinking water, observance of lead concentrations in drinking water, etc. Then the water connection, the ownership relations to the connection and the materials used for the water connection are defined. The next chapter deals with lead, lead pipeline, lead in drinking water and the legislative requirements for lead content in drinking water. Other part is about the health risks of lead in drinking water. These theoretical parts follow the practical part, which focuses on drinking water quality testing, which was in contact with the lead pipeline. This section describes drinking water sampling principles for determining the concentration of lead, the locations where the samples were taken, the methods used to determine the concentration, the description, the results and the evaluation of the information. The last chapter shows the methods and materials that remove lead from water.

Odstraňování šumu v obraze pomocí metod hlubokého učení / Removing noise in images using deep learning methodsStrejček, Jakub January 2021 (has links)
This thesis focuses on comparing methods of denoising by deep learning and their implementation. In the last few years, it has become clear that it is not necessary to have paired data, as for noisy and clean pictures, to train convolution neural networks but it is sufficient to have only noisy pictures for denoising in particular cases. By using methods described in this thesis it is possible to effectively remove i.e. additive Gaussian noise and what more, it is possible to achieve better results than by using statistic methods, which are being used for denoising these days.

Využití metody kapacitní deionizace pro úpravu vody / Use of capacitive deionization method for water treatmentŠvábová, Martina January 2021 (has links)
Capacitive deionization technologies have gained significant attention in recent years. The development and availability of a variety of materials have enabled the growth of research on electrosorption, which makes capacitive deionization increasingly attractive. This technology has a wide range of applications, such as softening, desalination and selective removal, each of which has been the focus of the experimental part of this work. The theoretical part is devoted to the issue of functioning of capacitive deionization, electrode material and especially the specific application. Water desalination is a major issue, given the global shortage of drinking water and the possibility of using capacitive deionization as a competitive method to conventional desalination methods. Conversely, softening and selective removal of ions can pose everyday problems both in the treatment of drinking water or pre-treatment of industrial water and in the treatment of wastewater. In this diploma thesis, it was proved that the method of capacitive deionization can be used to solve all the above problems. Although capacitive deionization is not a commercially available technology in the Czech Republic yet, it can be expected to be used more and more in the future.

Využití filtračních metod v NMR měřeních / Filtering methods for NMR measurementsNezhyba, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with the wavelet transform and its use in processing and removing noise from images acquired by nuclear magnetic resonance. It defines fundamental terms for this work as mother wavelet or thresholding. Above all, it describes the principle of wavelet transform, thresholding techniques and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of filtration. It describes the relation between wavelet transforms and digital filter banks. The experimental section describes the designed filtering method for removing noise from an image captured by the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance. We applied to different kinds of mother wavelets. Evaluation of the effectiveness of filtering was performed using the signal to noise ratio, relative contrast and the steepness of the intensity changes in signal intensity. It also discusses the comparison of properties of the image and selecting the mother wavelets based on image characteristics. Images were compared in terms of a histogram, cumulative histogram, k-space and the difference image.

Moderní směrové způsoby reprezentace obrazů / Modern methods of directional image representationMucha, Martin January 2013 (has links)
Transformation methods are used to describe the image based on defined shapes, which are called bases or frames. Thanks to these shapes it is possible to transform the image with the help of calculated transformation coefficients and further work with this image. It is possible to image denoising, reconstruct the image, transform it and do other things. There are several types of methods of the image processing. In this field a significiant development could be seen. This study is focused on analysis of characteristics of individual well known methods of transformation such as Fouriers´s or Wavelet´s. For comparison, there are also new chosen methods of transformation described: Ripplet, Curvelet, Surelet, Tetrolet, Contourlet and Shearlet. Functional toolboxes were used for comparison of individual methods and their characteristics. These functional toolboxes were modified for the possibility of limitation of transformation coefficients for their potential use in subsequent reconstruction.

Řešení systému chlazení odplynů pro odstranění obsažených rozpouštědel / Solving of off-gas cooling system for removing contained solventsBlažek, Pavel January 2011 (has links)
Diploma thesis deals with searching of the most appropriate solution of air mass cooling to clear away contained solvents. The solution is based on real and operated pharmaceutical unit. The cooling system is solved as systém of three tubular heat exchangers. In the first heat exchanger the air mass is cooled down by water, in the second by ice-cold water and brine R32 is used for cooling in the third heat exchanger. Heat exchanger system is solved for cooling the air mass which results in condensation of contained solvent – acetone.
